ORAS OU OU ORAS Team

Hello there guys and gals. I've been using this team for a while now. It has given me some losses but also some wins. Since the more ideas the better I thought that maybe I could post my team here on RMT.

The Team

Metagross @ Metagrossite
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 116 HP / 252 Atk / 140 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- Meteor Mash
- Zen Headbutt
- Hammer Arm

I got this Metagross as a bulky sweeper. Since it gets Tough Claws when it mega evolves its moves do extra damage since all of them make contact. If I'm on the edge and I need to outspeed something Bullet Punch since it is a priority move and also helps with the lower of speed that Hammer Arm causes. Zen Headbutt will give some chances of causing flinching and Meteor Mash can raise my attack while doing some nice damage.

Azumarill (F) @ Assault Vest/Choice Band
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Aqua Jet
- Waterfall
- Play Rough
- Ice Punch

I can't really decide between Assault Vest or Choice Band since both can be pretty good. This is a pretty usual Azumarill set with Aqua Jet for priority and Huge Power to power up its Attack. Water fall will give me flinch and nice power since it gets powered up by stab and Huge Power and If I choose to, Choice Band. The same goes for Play Rough. Even though it doesn't flinch it can lower the foes attack while doing nice damage. Ice Punch is mostly for cover against Grass types.

Weavile (F) @ Life Orb
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Icicle Crash
- Knock Off
- Fake Out
- Poison Jab

Weavile is another of my sweepers. Even though it is pretty frail it can deal nice damage and will outspeed most Pokemon. Icicle Crash is mostly for flinch and stab. Knock Off is good to get rid of the opponents item, giving me an advantage, or not. Fake out is to get rid of sturdy or to just get an extra turn while dealing damage. Poison Jab is for type coverage since Fairies are a threat to Weavile.

Hippowdon (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP / 144 Def / 112 SpD
Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
- Slack Off
- Stone Edge

Hippowdon will be my stealth rocker. With Earthquake it deals nice damage with it's stab and Stone Edge gets rid of any flying types such as Talonflame. Slack Off will help me get extra turns while I keep damaging the opponent.

479-wash.gif

Rotom-Wash @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 246 HP / 252 Def / 10 SpD
Bold Nature
- Volt Switch
- Will-O-Wisp
- Hydro Pump
- Pain Split

This is a pretty standard Rotom-Wash. I don't think there's much to say on this one since it is pretty obvious. Will-O-Wisp gets me rid of Physical Sweepers. Volt Switch gives me a switch while dealing damage. Hydro Pump will do some pretty good damage due to stab and Pain Split will help me get some health back.

Garchomp (F) @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 240 HP / 176 Def / 92 Spe
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Dragon Claw
- Toxic
And last, but not least, my bulky Garchomp also with Stealth Rock, though I think I should switch that. Earthquake for a stab powerful move, same goes for Dragon Claw and Toxic to add to the Rough Skin and Rocky Helmet.

This is one of my favorite teams since it has some of my favorite Pokemon in it. If you have any ideas on how I could upgrade their movepools and/or get some of them replaced please tell me. All of the support is appreciated. Thank you for your help guys and gals!

hey DrewfjalsGaming nice team man. however, i have some suggestions to help improve your team.

taking a glance at your team you're team has a pretty major weakness to special attackers such as serperior and gengar. you're team lacks special attacks to break physical walls such as skarmory and ferrothorn. fake out weavile is also pretty eh so you might want to consider changing that. lastly, you have 2 stealth rockers which isn't really necessary as you'll most likely only be using one.

so the first change im going to suggest is going Tornadus-Therian

> Garchomp

.
hippowdon is honestly the better stealth rocker for your team as it is able to deal with electrics and things such as mega bee and tyranitar therefore i decided to replace garchomp instead. tornadus therian can easily counter the biggest threats to your team such as serperior and gengar. torn-t also adds another special attacker to your team and with heat wave can deal with steel types which kinda annoy your team such as skarmory and ferrothorn. not to mention that is also forms a pretty nice volt turn core with your rotom-wash.

a minor change is going with knock off > ice punch

on azumarill. ice punch doesn't really hit anything super effectively that play rough or waterfall don't hit other than maybe flying types though azumarill can easily beat them same goes to grass types but with play rough. knock off is a really spammable move crippling a lot of things on the switch. also you might want to considering changing your azumarill spread to 172 hp / 252 atk and 84 spe as this now allows azumarill to ouspeed uninvested base 60 pokemon such as things like clef, sylv and empoleon.

another minor change i have is a tweak to the weavile set which is changing your set to Icicle Crash / Ice Shard / Low Kick / Knock Off.

i suppose you could still use poison jab over low kick if you really desire. however, you have mega metagross for fairies. fake out is replaced by ice shard which is a nice priority move to finish off weaker threats not to mention that weavile gains STAB over it.

anyways i hope i helped and good luck with your team!!!!
