Hey guys, thanks for giving a hoot about my team. Before I get started here, I just want to make something clear: THIS IS A TEAM BASED AROUND GALLADE. I WILL NOT TAKE OUT GALLADE FOR ANYTHING ELSE.
Now that that's cleared up, here it is:
Forretres@leftovers
Relaxed nature, sturdy
252hp, 112atk, 144def (0 speed iv)
-gyro ball
-spikes/stealth rock
-rapid spin
-explosion
This is a great lead, and a heck of a counter to other leads. I gave up trying to be fast a long time ago, so now I say the slower the better. It does great against a lot of the really common leads, except for some that have fire moves like azelf or infernape. My only option there is to switch out. I love facing aereodactyl though, because I can gyro ball on the taunt turn to take it to 1hp (focus sash), then rapid spin its stealth rock the next turn and kill it. It also does work against a very common lead, swampert. Usually I just get rid of suicide leads then save it for a defensive wall later, when I try to lay as many spikes as possible. Not sure if I should keep spikes or stealth rock though.
Snorlax@leftovers
Careful nature, thick fat
168hp, 120def, 220sp.D
-curse
-body slam
-earthquake
-rest
As my special wall, having two of the 4x super-effective moves resisted is a huge relief. I can easily switch him in on so many threats to my other pokes, and start setting up to scare the poop out of my opponent. If they don't have a proper phazer, there's almost nothing to be done about this fatty. The only thing that can make me switch is an early threat of a strong fighting move, or a whirlwind/roar.
Flygon@life orb
Naive nature, levitate
80atk, 252sp.A, 176spe
-draco meteor
-earthquake
-u-turn
-flamethrower? (replacement plz maybe?)
This takes care of metagross, scizor, forretres, and anything that doesn't resist dragon and has less than extraordinary sp. defense. Not too sure about flamethrower, as my steel killer, magnezone, takes care of most of them. U-turn for scouting to try and make a clear path for gallade, and eq for raw stabbed power.

Starmie@leftovers
Timid nature, natural cure
252hp, 20def, 20sp.D, 216spe
-surf
-thunderbolt
-grass knot
-recover
Starmie is one of the 2 fighting resistors on this team, and the only one that I can actually count on to take a hit. Because of that, it is precious to me and I'll try to keep it alive as long as possible. That's pretty easy when it has a great move like recover, so most of the time he's absorbing hits like no tomorrow. It's almost impossible to take down without a super-effective hit. Even a life-orb'd Mamoswine earthquake only does about 3/4ths. With that kind of beefyness, who needs resistances? Well it has a few anyway. Takes ice beam for flygon, fire for my steels, and fighting for snorlax.
Magnezone@leftovers
Timid nature, magnet pull
36hp, 252sp.A, 220spe
-thunderbolt
-hidden power (fire)
-substitute
-explosion?
Magnezone has great synergy with Gallade, getting rid of all the steel/psychic, steel/flying, or steel/bug types. Once those are gone, Gallade is pretty much free to sweep. I love trapping Scizors and Skarmorys especially, but it also works for Empoleon and the rare Forretres. If I have some sort of information telling me that a Metagross doesn't have earthquake, I'll go in on that and take it out with a few hits. I can also switch in on Swamperts and pretend I have hp grass then sub on the switch if I'm feeling ballsy. I gave it one more speed point then on the smogon set because then i'm guaranteed to outspeed any scizor 100% of the time so I don't get superpowered.
Gallade@life orb
Adamant nature, steadfast
6hp, 252atk, 252spe
-swords dance
-shadow sneak
-close combat
-stone edge
Finally, my Gallade. This is what my whole team's been paving the way for. I got this set on the smogon forums, as I was looking for the most efficient set. This takes the cake. Once all my major threats are gone, or even if some are still about, I come in on a weak special attack and set up swords dance on the switch. Then I try to use all the type coverage I can before I need to switch out. He's an excellent wallbreaker, and shadow sneak is a neat little surprise for Gengar.
Thanks for actually reading this, I hope it doesn't need to be changed too radically.
ps: I'll add images if someone tells me how :naughty:
