Metagross
Adamant @ Occa Berry
252 HP / 216 Atk / 32 Def / 8 Spe
Earthquake
Meteor Mash
Stealth Rock
Bullet Punch

  • LEAD: Sets up Stealth Rock after an Earthquake that deal good damage to Heatran, Tyranitar, Azleaf, and others. If a Machamp is in play i'll switch in another sweeper and save Stealth Rock for later. Anything that would damage normally would take my Meteor Mash next to a Bullet Punch, if he survives which is common I can sweep with him later game. Want to make room for Explosion but I need EQ and STAB moves.

Dragonite
Adamant @ Life Orb
252 HP / 52 Atk / 204 Spe
Dragon Claw
Earthquake
Dragon Dance
Roost

  • Physical Sweeper: Literally the Star of the team. This Dragonite can endure alot and keep comming with its High HP which means big Roost leaves time for more attacks=more damage. The idea is to Baton Pass Scizor's Sword Dance to any of my Sweepers and make up for his low attack and tear through a team. EQ obviously gives him better coverage.

Gyarados
Adamant @ Choice Band
64HP / 252 Atk / 192 Spe
Waterfall
Ice Fang
Earthquake
Stone Edge

  • Physical Sweeper: I like the Moveset on choicband Gyarados due to the immediate threat it creates against big sweepers with its type coverage. I'm able to bring down alot with this set but am looking at a regular DD Gyarados as well due to the Baton Pass Scizor is packing.

Porygon Z
Timid @ Choice Scarf
4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Tri Attack
Thunder Bolt
Ice Beam
Hidden Power (Fighting)

  • Special Sweeper: Last addition to the team and I havn't built this guy yet. Tri Attack is for the STAB and the rest provide good type coverage, Im really considering another pokemon for this position. However it gives me good synergy can't really think of a better sweeper that has the versatility.

Scizor
Adamant @ Leftovers
248HP / 88 Atk / 172 Spe
Bullet Punch
Swords Dance
Roost
Baton Pass

  • Baton Passer: 1 or 2 sword dances and i can pass it to Meta/Drag/ or potentially Gyara or Z if I un-scarf them which i am seriouslly considering. Roost Keeps him alive, really a standard carbon copy set. Bullet Punch gives me a STAB if I need it.
Forretress.png

Forretress
Adamant @ Leftovers
252HP / 112 Atk / 144 Def
Spikes
Rapid Spin
Payback
Explosion

  • Rapid Spinner: Really need this set due to Dragonite and Gyarados. Explodes to help rip though the opponents offence and sets up spikes, which ontop of Stealth Rock and my BP offence leaves little to keep me from a strong OHKO sweep. This guy ontop of my scizor and sweepers pulls the team together.

OVERALL: the team has weaknesses to Rock but a lot of EQ's takes care of it for the most part. Fire will rip through Scizor and Forretress so i have to be careful and get Stealth Rock off as well or Dragonite and Gyarados will take good damage. Porygon was the last one added to the team for type coverage and and anti-Sweeper. Looking for any comments, I'm new to Team Building i'm sure its obvious.

You have quite the infernape problem, since a good number of them run Stone Edge. You also have almost no way of stopping a magnet rise magnezone from trapping and killing literally half your team (the only way being a lucky predict on metagross... unlikely since you havev no clue about the opponent's team)

Another problem i have is that you call porygonZ a sweeper, but it has a choice scarf and no trick. This completely limits it as a sweeper, and makes it only really reliable for revenge killing.

Your Dragonite has decent bulk, but with only those two attacks is left wide open, and is forced to deal neutral damage to many opponents (which is a bad thing considering your lack of original attack stat). Lowering your original stat greatly effects the final stat after dances, losing almost 70 attack after just one dance, and losing you over 20 attack points with each consecutive dance comparatively. This means that your dragonite is certainly not a natural sweeper, but more of a boosted sweeper, which means stopped dead by gliscor and other taunters.

Your team is also very weak to opposing faster dragons.

I would also imagine, with all the scizor counters running rampant these days, that it would be very rare that you actually manage to get a swords dance passed off before being hit by a OHKO move. You may consider switching this to gliscor, as he can get swords dance passed quite well, and is able to stall out/taunt alot of slower opponents.
