OU RMT: oh the genericness of it all (is that a word?)

Okay, fist thread ever. Since i'm a noob, I decided to use generic pokemon when i started with shoddy, shortly after a team of my favorite pokemon were annihilated over and over again, so here we go. Changes are in Bold. Changes to changes are Bold and underlined.
Changes: Got rid of ninjask and gengar for bulky mixpert lead and tanking dusknoir. also changed some movesets around. thanks to soulred12. Updated the threat list, etc for the new pokemon.

TEAM AT A GLANCE:

TEAM IN DEPTH

So i hear u liek mudkipz?,
swampert.png

Mudk1pz!(Swampert)@Leftovers
Nature: Relaxed Ability: Torrent
252 DEF/200HP/56SPA
-Stealth rock
-Surf
-Ice beam
-Earthquake

I decided to go with a suggestion snd swap out a couple pokemon. Bulky Mixpert finally gets me the ice coverage i need and the abilty to take EQ off of gyarados. He is IMO the bulikest lead out there and he hits some other common leads for a nice amount of damage.

The little Magikarp that could (annihilate),
gyarados.png

ZOMG!GYARA (Gyarados)@leftovers
Nature:Adamant Ability:Intimidate
156HP/108ATK/100DEF/144SPE
-Dragon dance
-Waterfall
-Stone edge
-Taunt

Classic BulkyGyara. He deals nicely with tyranitar with waterfall and zapdos with stone edge.(who he is faster than with the boosts from DDs, but he wont be able to switch straight into zapdos/tyranitar unless he cathces them using EQ or heatwave...)

We all hate him,
scizor.png

URlyH8Me (Scizor)@Life Orb
Nature:Adamant Ability:Technician
248HP/252ATK/10SPE
-Bullet Punch
-SuperPower
-Swords dance
-U-Turn

Honestly, i have no idea. I took off CB and added LO because i simply hate choice items and this way he cant get locked into bullet punch and get trapped by magnezone, and simply escape with U-Turn (i think...).
Im thinking of switching all the HP EVs to speed because he doesnt survive much anyway.

What happened to all the skarmorys in OU? Oh yeah, i killed them all,
magnezone.png

BZZZT!(Magnezone)@Leftovers
Nature: Modest Ability:Magnet Pull172HP/84SPE/252SPA
-ThunderBolt
-Substitute
-Magnet rise
-HP fire

Again, i betrayed smogon by adding HP fire instead of grass/ice. He kills steels but had almost no way of 1HKOing them other than skarmory. With HP fire he OHKOs Scizor insteadof 2HKOing him. But literally, skarmorys popularity seems to be decreasing because of this pokemon. I havent seen one on shoddy.Ever.

WHAT DO YOU MEAN SCIZOR IS DOMINATING OU?,
salamence.png

ORLY?(Salamence)@Life Orb
Nature:Modest Ability:Intimidate
252SPE/252SPA/6HP
-Draco Meteor
-Dragon Pulse
-Flamethrower
-Hydro Pump

Hes always had the ability to kill scizor, but the red ant seems to have forgotten that. Anyway, Fire/Dragon is only resisted by heatran who is annihalated by hydro pump. He doesnt have specs although this is the specs set for the same reason why scizor isnt holding CB. Good for both early and late game sweeping.

BEWARE THE WoWs!!!!!!!,
dusknoir.png

SCAREDYET? (Dusknoir)@leftovers
Nature:Impish Ability:Pressure
252HP/228DEF/28ATK
-Will-o-Wisp
-Pain split
-Fire Punch
-Thunderpunch

Simple tanking dusknoir. I didnt go with the popular EQ-IcePunch because swampert already has that combo.
IMO a better rapid spin blocker than a certan OU electrical appliance. I know tyranitar kills this set but should see the switch to him coming and will-o-wisp, and then pain split and play mindgames until i have a safe switch.

Threat List:
Green are pokemon easily handled by a couple of my pokemon
Orange (since its impossible to see yellow) are pokemon that can be a challenge.
Red are pokemon that completely ANNIHILATE ME, and i need help on destroying it.

OFFENSIVE
dpiconani142.gif
Aerodactyl:Gyarados, Swampert, and Magnezone can take it out.
dpiconani065.gif
Alakazam: He can be a problem...Super effectively hitting me a lot with ice, electric, and grass attacks.
dpiconani482.gif
Azelf: Look up there^^^, but harder due to nasty plot.
dpiconani286.gif
Breloom: Easy. Salamence pwns him, but spore can be a problem.
dpiconani149.gif
Dragonite:Swaaaampert.
dpiconani051.gif
Dugtrio:He revenge kills magnezone like 100% chance but Gyarados and swampert pwn him with waterfall/surf.
dpiconani466.gif
Electivire:Swaaaampert.
dpiconani395.gif
Empoleon: Swampert EQs him but grass knot can be a problem.
dpiconani330.gif
Flygon: Swaaaampert.
dpiconani094.gif
Gengar:Would you believe that he can be semi-hard for me? Scarfed GGars are the main problem, but they're frail anyway.
dpiconani130.gif
Gyarados: Magnezone destroys it without EQ.
dpiconani485.gif
Heatran: Gyara or swampert comes in and kill.
dpiconani214.gif
Heracross: Salamence with flamethrower hurts it bad.
dpiconani392.gif
Infernape: Frail little monkey is pwned by a waterfall from gyara or surf from swampert.
dpiconani385.gif
Jirachi: one word: MAG-NE-ZONE.
dpiconani135.gif
Jolteon: Swampert.....
dpiconani230.gif
Kingdra: Stupid rain dancers pwn me. Other than that, salamence is faster than him.
dpiconani380.gif
Latias: Swampert.
dpiconani448.gif
Lucario: one of the few steels Magnezone cant kill due to CC, but swampert can fix that with EQ.
dpiconani068.gif
Machamp: Dusknoir can stall him out, but hes still a problem.
dpiconani462.gif
Magnezone: lol, actually, magnezone can kill him with HP fire if he doesnt have his own. Otherwise, salamence can pwn him with Flamethrower if hes not carrying HP ice. Its kind of an either-way-ur-dead situation.
dpiconani473.gif
Mamoswine: Gyara,Swampy, and Salamence come in for the KO.
dpiconani376.gif
Metagross: Salamence if he doesnt have ice punch, but if he does he can be a problem if swampert is down.
dpiconani474.gif
Porygon-z:Scizor superpower.
dpiconani464.gif
Rhyperior: Gyara Waterfall. of course hes faster!
dpiconani373.gif
Salamence: PAIN IN THE BUTT. Flamethrower kills magnezone, but swampert occaisionally takes it out if its not the very rare specially bulky version.
dpiconani212.gif
Scizor: Magnezone OHKOS. Nuff said. He just cant switch into superpower.
dpiconani245.gif
Suicune:Dusknoir and magnezone. The ladder does more damage, however.
dpiconani121.gif
Starmie: Pwned by magnezone t-bolt.

dpiconani468.gif
Togekiss: Gyara stone edge. The paraflinch versions are annoying..

dpiconani248.gif
Tyranitar. Scizors longtime rival is now obliterated by the evil red ant.

dpiconani461.gif
Weavile: Scizor can superpower him.

dpiconani145.gif
Zapdos: Swampert

DEFENSIVE:

dpiconani242.gif
Blissey: Basically any of my physical sweepers....I feel blisseys popularity is dropping due to scizor with superpower and the large number of pokemon that get CloseCombat in DPP.

dpiconani437.gif
Bronzong:Magnezone can destroy it.
dpiconani251.gif
Celebi: Scizor can hurt it if it switches into U-turn, but salamence does better.
dpiconani488.gif
Cresselia: Scizor comes in for the kill.
dpiconani232.gif
Donphan:Swampert.
dpiconani205.gif
Forretress: MAG-NE-ZONE. Not as effective as i thought, but he still kills him.
dpiconani472.gif
Gliscor: Swampert.
dpiconani130.gif
Gyarados: Magnezone if it doesnt have EQ, otherwise a t-punch from dusknoir.
dpiconani450.gif
Hippowdon: Salamence hydro pump or gyara/swampy water move, but waterfall will do a lot less damage to him. Slack off can be a pain however....
dpiconani380.gif
Latias: Swampert.
dpiconani227.gif
Skarmory: Magnezone!!! Have you noticed that the popularity of this pokemon is rapidly decreasing?
dpiconani143.gif
Snorlax: Scizor superpower. :P
dpiconani245.gif
Suicune: Same as offensive but easier. Magnezone or dusknoir.
dpiconani260.gif
Swampert: Hard because i dont have any way to effectively counter it.
dpiconani073.gif
Tentacruel:Swampert with EQ takes it down and my steel types absorb toxic spikes.
dpiconani134.gif
Vaporeon: Magnezone & dusknoir
dpiconani145.gif
Zapdos: same as offensive but easier.

Well thats my team. Just because the team has been revamped doesnt mean i wouldnt still like ratings, EV help, etc. Thx for reading and plz RMT!

First thread on smogon ever!

A few notes:

Ninjask: This is fine, I suppose, but it's not very good if you don't have a full fledged BP team because most people instinctively taunt or phaze when they see a Ninjask lead. So make sure to protect the first turn, and if you get a taunt or whirlwind/roar, baton pass out the next turn.

Gyara: He reeeeaeaaally wants Dragon Dance because he loves that +1 speed. Otherwise you get outsped and killed by Zapdos, who currently gives your team quite a bit of trouble (thunderbolt for everyone except magnezone, who fears heat wave, and salamence, who fears hp ice). You usually need to bring gyarados in on something it can force out, so you can dd on the switch and then taunt if you need to to stop phazers, twavers, etc.

Scizor: If you take away his precious choice band, he wants swords dance to make up for it. I'd personally put it over pursuit, but it's your choice. Either that or U-turn, but if you don't have u-turn you might want x-scissor.

Magnezone: HP fire is fine if you want to trap and kill fellow magnezones, but just remember most steels like luke and scizor will take a lot of damage from thunderbolt, so in most cases hp fire isn't necessary for them. Still a good choice, though HP grass would certainly help with swampert since you do indeed lack a reliable answer to him.

Salamence: With a set like this, you really want specs on him. If you bring him out when you know some things about your opponent's team, prediction shouldn't be too difficult. Not terribly cruical, I guess, but remember that specs provides more power without cutting 10% of your health. Also, life orb sets are usually mixed.

Gengar: He's not so bad if you use him conservatively. I'd actually suggest switching him for dusknoir, who is still a ghost but provides a pretty good machamp counter, only taking payback with 50 bp (due to being slower than machamp). He can burn the no-guard variants and at least chip away at the guts variants' health. With pressure and pain split, he can stall out machamp pretty well since most of his STAB moves have low pp.

Seeing the rest of your team, I'd say ninjask is doing effectively nothing for your team. You want something that can set up stealth rocks, because without them you give your opponent unpunished switches if they predict correctly, while you (if they set up rocks, which most people do) take anywhere from 6-50% from them. A lot of your team members tend to influence switches (gyarados, scizor, and salamence especially), so not dealing any damage on switches would be a shame. Rocks also tend to turn many 3HKOs into 2HKOs and 2HKOs into OHKOs.

A suicide lead like Azelf might do well, or even a bulky mixpert lead. That would help too as you currently have no electric immunity but most of your team resists grass.

Also:

Latias: God, countering dragons is so hard. Again, salamence is usually faster unless he DDs.

Latias can't dragon dance, nor would he want to =p Also latias has 10 more base speed, so the ever-common max+ speed latias will sadly outspeed every time. Scizor can beat a non-hp fire Latias, though.

what about swithcing all of scizors HP evs to Speed? scizor has bad speed with the current evs and without ninjask hes really gonna need the speed.

You should just put outrage on mence, instead of dragon pulse to do more damage to machamp.

I don't really see why you desire bolt beam for gengar so much. Gengar easily attains perfect coverage.

Here is the set:
Gengar@ leftovers, life orb, wide lens or expert belt (the item is meaningless pick one)

Focus Blast
Shadow ball
Substitute
HP Fire (dumb)/hypnosis(good)

This is a much more lasting gengar. With hypnosis sleeping counters from behind the sub. While escaping scizor using substitute, or killing it with hidden power.
