OU RMT!: Pachuca Sunrise

Introduction

Step 1: The Lead.
The team began when I was trying to think of a creative way to counter Suicide leads. After days of thought, the inspiration to a Starmie gimmick gave me a consistant plan to counter Stealth Rock, and almost promise getting it off the field, while having most of my health.

Step 2: The Dynamic Duo.
After comparing my lead to the other common leads, I came to the revalation that the only thing that really stops my plan was a well-timed Ghost, particularly Gengar. Enter Scizor, one of the best answers to Gengar in the whole game. Between Starmie and Scizor, I felt that I had almost everything covered to some extent but bulky Steels. It's pretty assumable where that thought process lead to.

Step 3: The Collapse of the Steel Curtain.
Magnezone. My Scizor U-Turning into it my Steel Trapper scares a lot of OU Pokemon, and it's more than bulky enough to come in on one of its many resistances and punish anything. Realizing this would need to be Choice Scarfed, it occured to me that I could exploit the fact that I can easily answer entry hazards by using multipule Choiced Band/Scarf/Specs Pokemon.
My next thought was "What can I do, now that their team is disabled from having any steels left?" The answer? Exploit it by using the strongest attacking type in the game, that if it wasn't for Steel types, would have no resistances in the game.

Step 4: Enter the Dragon
Ever since Latias being put in OU, it has been really hyped as many things. Including "One of the only viable SpDef walls in Overused environment, one of the best Calm Minders in OU, and having one of the most versitile movesets in the game. I decided to not use either of those tactics, and focus on a Latias that can still sweep when needed, but can get those big hits on Rotom forms, Gyarados, Celebi, Zapdos, etc.
My decision for my next Dragon was easy. Dragon Dance Salamence is one of the most hyped sweepers in OU. By the time I would bring it out, this thing would be able to KO just about anything in OU, practically regardless of how fresh anything they have left still is. Now having a consistant late game plan, all I needed was someone to fill in a few niches I didn't have, and this team was ready to go.

Step 5: The Filler
For the sixth member of the team, there was a few things I needed. As of right now, my team needed Stealth Rock, for the obvious reasons. I needed something physical, because I was really concerned about not being able to beat Blissey at this point. I also wanted something with U-Turn for combos with Magnazone, but there's not a lot that can do all that.
Azelf, Aerodactyl,Empoleon, Gliscor, and Swampert were my only solid options.
I threw out Aero and Gliscor right away, because I didn't feel I had the Ice resistances to deal with an x3 Ice weakness. I threw out Azelf shortly after for the fact that a third psychic really lets things break me down. I confidenetly did way with Empoleon, after deciding that it didn't have the physical attack to do what I was looking for, and having two Pokes that lose to a good Magnazone switch-in didn't appeal to me, so I went with Swampert. After giving it an EV spread and movest that helped with a few threats to the rest of the team (Swords Dance Lucario, Tyrranatar, Calm Minders.) I felt I was ready for anything.

Now, with no further ado, I present to you...

Choice Scarf
Modest Nature- 112Hp\0Atk\0Def\252SpAtk\0SpDef\Spd144
-Rapid Spin
-Surf
-Thunder Wave
-Trick

Anti-Meta Starmie. Great lead. As such, players don't expect it to have Trick and Rapid Spin, but I in fact utilize both for a lock of sorts. All the Sash\Choice'd leads get locked when I use Trick, and if they use Rocks, i'm promised a free Spin. The only hole in that plan is if they switch into a Ghosts, and both Gengar and Rotom hate being hit by Thunder Waves. Spiritomb is the only Ghost that can tolerate being immobilized, but it's play has all but dissapeared with the arrival of Rotom Appliances. Starmie's EV spread is designed to still outrun all Salamances before D-Dance, all Gyarados, and many other bulky sweepers after dropping my Scarf.

-Bullet Punch
-Pursuit
-Superpower
-U-Turn

Standard CB Scizor revenge kills those immobile ghosts, and kills Blissey very effectivly. U-Turn scouts Steels, which gives me the switch\in to my Magnazone. U-Turn damage allows me to answer the question of, "Does this Skarmory\Bronzong\etc have Shed Shell or Leftovers?" You probably know what this thing is capable of.

Modest Nature-36HP\0Atk\0Def\252SpAtk\0SpDef\220Spd
-Explosion
-Hidden Power [Ice]
-Thunderbolt
-Signal Beam
Scarf Magnazone is rather hyped right now, being able to beat things like Jirachi,Bronzong, Metagross, Scizor, Skarmory, and some Heatran
by outspeeding it, and hitting it with something heavy. Reading Jirachi\Bronzong\Metagross using Trick allows me to lock it into kills by forcing Tricks, while I wear it down. HP Ice allows me to threaten most of those things that would switch into a Choiced Thunderbolt, 2HKOing Hippowdon and Donphan. Signal Beam is incredible, if only for its ability to give my team a reliable answer to Celebi, OHKOing all variants under Stealth Rock damage. I opted for Explosion over the usual Flash Cannon to help with Blissey problems. If Explosion was used on this set, it would be Naive 36Atk/252Spatk/220 Speed.

Life Orb
Jolly 40HP\242Atk\0Def\0SpAtk\0SpDef\224Spd
-Dragon Dance
-Earthquake
-Fire Fang
-Outrage

Late game sweeper, Salamence is one of the best. Dragon Dancing and Outraging everything after the Steel Trapper has worn out the resistances. the Speed EV's allow me to outrun nearly everything after 1 DDance, and then I sweep. Fire Fang really only hits Skarmory and Scizor, so it may be expendable. Even with Starmie spinning away those scary Stealth Rock plays, Residual damage from Life Orb tends to wear me down to where I can't sweep a third or fourth creature. As such I may drop it for Roost, thought at this time it seems very unlikley.

Leftovers
Impish Nature 252Hp\0Atk\252Def\0SpAtk\0SpDef\6Spd
-Earthquake
-Roar
-Stealth Rock
-Waterfall

Classic Swampert. I felt this team needed Stealth Rock support, to help counter Gyarados, Salamence, Zapdos, Celebi, and other sweepers. Though Celebi and Jirachi appealed to me more with U-Turn, Swampert compliments my Weakness\Resistance chart much better than either one of them do, further exploiting a Heatran weakness. Roar allows me to move Salamences, Sweepcunes, SubRoosting Zapdos, and various others, while having solid answers to Tyranatar and Lucario. Waterfall+Earthquake has some pretty great coverage, It can usually stop something from sweeping before doing part. The EV spread is incredibly bulky to try to do the most to those usually physically-focused sweepers as I can, though Swampert can't deal with more than a couple Draco Meteors. Luckily, Choiced Draco Meteors just beg for Scizor to come in a cripple them afterwards. the small speed investments allows me to outrun other Swamperts, which is see the ditto matchup happen too often.

Choice Scarf
Timid Nature 72Hp\0Atk\0Def\252SpAtk\0SpDef\180Spd
-Draco Meteor
-Dragon Pulse
-Mist Ball
-Surf
Though this team has a great job at countering some things entirely, there are things like Celebi,Zapdos, most Bulky Waters, and Cresselia, that thing team has some problems dealing with. Enter Scarf Latias. Throwing Draco Meteors can break anything non-resistant, and Dragon Pulse makes for some great STAB. Surf allows me to somewhat hurt Tyranatar ( 3-4HKO), aMist Ball is a tech I'm still experimenting with. The idea, is to use it when Tyrranatar is gone (Or I'm confident it's not on the team) and Mist Balling until it faints, hopefully getting a special attack drop. Then, Sally comes in, and can get a free Dragon Dance with the opposition having a -1 Atk,-1SpAtk, and then begin to sweep. Mist Ball also helps with Machamp.

Conclusion

After testing, this team has played very well. Through as with most teams, there are things that really hurt me once I lose my counter, those are minimal. Sand Streamers tend to be the biggest problem. Hippowdon doesn't want to die from anything, and even with Scizor and Swampert, T-Tar constantly Pursuit locks Latias and Starmie.
Mentioning Starmie, the whole Anti-Rocks tactic has had mixed results. I'm finding myself using Thunder Wave before Rapid Spin, and I can beat Rotoms by switching into Scizor by Pursuiting after immobilizing it. If that doesn't happen, the results are usually either a sweeper getting TWaved, or their wall getting Tricked.
I'm overall really excited about this team.
