This team has been doing pretty well. My wins and losses are almost even. So I want to know how I can make this team better. Im Korean btw. IM NOOB SO BE MEAN IF YOU HAVE TO. I WANT TO LEARN.
Dragonite @ Life Orb
Quiet Nature
Ability: Inner Focus
EV’s: 252Atk/ 252spAtk/ 6speed
Moveset:
-Draco Meteor
-Fire Blast
-Extremespeed
-Earthquake
I like this lead because of its raw power. It has brought me success early in games because of that. What I also like is that it has extremespeed which is great for killing focus sashers and leads that are going to explode on you. I usually draco meteor first to get as much damage as I can and then extremespeed to kill sasher or earthquake if I predict a switch. Pretty much its to get as much damage as I can early before it dies. I once swept my friends first three pokes with this. This can be a revenge killer or late game sweeper but it is very rare because this thing is probably already dead
Swampert @ Leftovers
Relaxed Nature
Ability: Torrent
EV’s: 252HP/ 6Atk/ 252Def
Moveset:
-Stealth Rock
-Earthquake
-Ice Beam
-Roar
This thing has helped me through a lot of shit. Its bulk and water/ground typing is very useful for my team. It can take hard hits and this guarantees me to put up rocks. Earthquake for STAB. Ice Beam for dragons, gliscor, etc. I like roar because it helps me get rid of pokemon that are setting up DD’s and what not. At the same time, the pokemon that are coming in are taking stealth rock damage which is very useful in the long run. I usually sacrifice swampert just to get my rocks up, take the sleep(spore, sleep powder), physicall wall. or just a way to get damage on pokemon.
Lucario @ Life Orb
Adamant Nature
Ability: Inner Focus
EV’s: 252 Atk/6 spDef/ 252 speed
Moveset:
-Sword Dance
-Close Combat
-Extremespeed
-Crunch
Standard SD Lucario. It is a good revenge killer and stall breaker IMO(blissey). One sword dance and gg. I needed good late game sweepers and I found this one to be the best. Close combat for t.tar, steels. Extremespeed is good for revenge ko’s. Crunch is for ghosts, celebi, etc. I always switch into this on a stall/wall pokemon so that I can set up since setting up SD on lucario is not always easy cuz of its crap speed. But when this sets up, it can do major damage.
Vaporeon @ Leftovers
Bold Nature
Ability: Water Absorb
EV’s: 188 HP/ 252 Def/ 68 speed
Moveset:
-Wish
-Protect
-Surf
-Toxic/HP Electric/Ice Beam
I like vaporeon because it is capable of taking hits. Even thunderbolts. It has water absorb which is good against suicune and I found it to be another good stall counter IMO. It is good way to intimidate people and it can be annoying if used correctly. Most importantly, it is the best wish passer in ou. I found this to work very well with Kingdra(see below) since it helps kingdra set up DD’s with wish. Whats bothering me is the last moveslot. Please tell me which move would be most beneficial to my team. I was thinking toxic for stall or hp electric for suicune and gyarados. I don’t think I need ice beam since I have kingdra and swampert. But plz help me with this. Overall, vaporeon is a monster.
Gengar @ Life Orb
Timid Nature
Ability: Levitate
EV’s: 4HP/ 252spAtk/ 252speed
Moveset:
-Substitute
-Pain Split
-Shadow Ball
-Focus Blast/Thunderbolt
The ultimate stall breaker. My friend told me about this set and I love it. If there is one pokemon I do not want to change on my team, it is this. It was surprising to see how long this thing can stay in the game if used correctly. I was able to KO a snorlax and blissey and it was still healthy. Substitute as many times as I can and then pain split. Shadow ball for STAB and Im still deciding on the last moveslot. Plz tell me which move will be more beneficial for my team. This thing is useful for any team and has helped me through deep shit.
Kingdra @ Chesto Berry
Adamant Nature
Ability: Sniper
EV’s: 48 HP/ 95 Atk/ 80 Def/ 121 SpDef/ 166 speed
Moveset:
-Dragon Dance
-Outrage
-Waterfall
-Rest
This thing is a beast. The EV’s look funky but they work. I like Kingdra because it is bulky and good attacker at the same time. With the EV’s given, I can Dragon Dance as many times as I can until I’m about to die. Then I rest. Chesto berry to wake it up and gg. I have swept a couple of teams with this set 6-0. This works well as a late game sweeper. Or usually I switch into this on a fire/water/grass pokemon since it has 4x resistance on fire and water. This makes setting up very easy for kingdra.
