Shit I'm not sure about in PURPLEISH
At a Glance:
A Closer Look:
Metagross @Leftovers
Adamant Nature
Ability: Clear Body
252 Hp / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
~Stealth Rock
~Meteor Mash
~Earthquake
~Bullet Punch
Why?: I've never tried a Metagross lead before, but I thought that he would do great, even with the nerf of explosion. Unless against a taunt lead, he gets up rocks, and with his bulk, and massive attack, usually survives long enough to do some damage as well. Meteor mash is powerful STAB, and EQ gives good coverage. In addition, he has the option of priority in the name of Bullet Punch. Overall, I think he can be a destructive Pokemon and do some damage to an unprepared team.
Latios @ Life Orb
Timid Nature
Ability: Levitate
4 Hp / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
~Dragon Pulse
~Thunderbolt
~Surf
~Hidden Power [fire]
Why?: I chose Latios because he covers the two weaknesses that Metagross has. Latios is a very potent sweeper and can do a lot of damage to a team, with his large Special attack, and good type coverage. He can hit practically any pokemon for atl east neutral damage, and with 130 base SpA, and life orb, he can be a powerful force. I'm not completely sure about Life orb because I don't like recoil, but the extra damage is probably worth it. I've also considered running a calm mind variant, but those aren't as quick IMO.
Breloom @ Leftovers
Adamant Nature
Ability: Technician
4 Hp / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
~Spore
~Swords Dance
~Mach Punch
~Bullet Seed
Why?: First off, I'm not completely sure this set is legal, but for current purposes, I will assume it is (tell me if it isn't). If used properly, Loom can be a great sweeper. Spore gives him a free Dance, and from there, he can wreck havoc with techni Mach Punch. Bullet Seed also enjoys a boost from technician aswell as providing and additional STAB option. Leftovers heal damage he might have taken on the spore turn, and get him to a healthy state so he can spore again if need be. I've considered replacing bullet seed with substitute, but I think that being a mono attacker would hold him back to much.
Suicune @ Leftovers
Bold Nature
Ability: Water Absorb
252 Hp / 252 Def / 4 SpD
~Scald
~Calm Mind
~Rest
~Sleep Talk
Why?: Suicune covers a weeknesses that my team, so far, has. Namely, water and Ice. Water absorb is pretty helpful at times, too. Basically, though, it's the old CroCune set. Scald is slightly better that Surf IMO because the chance to burn. If he has enough time to set up, suicune can do a lot of damage and stall-wall all day. Overall, Suicunes defensive capabilities and convenient typing make him a great pokemon on this team. His only problem is as a monoattacker.
Terrakion @ Life Orb
Jolly Nature
Ability: Stupid shit that doesn't matter
252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
~Sacred Sword
~Stone Edge
~Swords Dance
~Rock Polish
Why?: When I first saw this guy, the first thing that cae to my head was "Bad-ass version of Tauros". and really, that's what he is. his dual stab is amazing and resisted by nothing in the OU meta. This allows for him to carry only two attacks, and two utility moves. The only problem I have with him is that stone edge sucks ass and misses. Substitute I'm not sure about. Rock polish is helpful against fast teams, which tend to have less bulky pokemon. Swords Dance is used against stall or some bulky offense teams. His respectable bulk allows him to take hits, too. Expert belt is ran because of how amazing his STAB is.
Chandelure @ Choice Scarf
Modest Nature
Ability: Shadow Tag
252 SpA / 4 Def / 252 Spe
~Flamethrower
~Shadowball
~Hidden Power [ice]
~Energy Ball
Why?: Chandelure is hardlyarguably the best revenge killer in the game. I chose him because I needed something to take out powerful steel types if Latios is no longer around. His moveset allows good coverage, and allows hi to revenge very well. My biggest problem with him is I detest choice items. I hate how limiting they are, but he absolutely needs it to be an effective revenge killer.
Thank you so much for reading the post, and all advice, pointers and suggestions are much appreciated
