Mamoswine @ Focus Sash
Ability: Snow Cloak
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -Spec. Atk)
EVs: 252 Atk, 100 HP, 158 Speed
Stealth Rock
Ice Shard
Earthquake
Stone Edge
Great Pokemon, not only can it set up Stealth Rocks, it can take a few Pokes down with it. STAB Earthquake and Ice Shard make a great threat to some of the common leads. It's typing keeps it safe from Hail and Sandstorm.
Starmie @ Life Orb
Ability: Natural Cure
Rash Nature (+Spec. Atk, -Spec. Def)
EVs: 252 Spec. Atk, 252 Speed, 6 Spec. Def
Hydro-Pump
Ice Beam
Thunderbolt
Psychic
Starmie is great and has always been, Hydro-Pump get 2HKOs on a majority of the OU Pokemon, Ice Beam and Thunderbolt are a standard. Psychic has STAB and get surprise any Gengars anticipating a Rapid Spin. Even though this is more of a late game sweeper, it works well through-out the battle.
Electrivire @ Expert Belt
Ability: Motor Drive
Mild Nature (+Spec. Atk, -Def)
EVs: 40 Atk, 252 Spec. Atk, 208 Speed
Thunderbolt
Flamethrower
Cross Chop
Ice Punch
Great mixed sweeper, if I'm lucky enough to snag an Electric attack targeted at Starmie, he gets even better. Thunderbolt has a STAB, Flamethrower for Steel types, Ice Punch and Cross Chop for everything else.
Gengar @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
Timid Nature (+Speed, -Atk)
EVs: 252 Speed, 252 Spec. Atk, 6 HP
Shadow Ball
Thunderbolt
Focus Blast
Energy Ball
Not much to say about Gengar, STAB Shadow Ball is great, Energy Ball is to take out Swampert that plan an Earthquake against Electrivire.
Tyranitar @ Choice Band
Ability: Sand Stream
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -Spec. Atk)
EVs: 252 Atk, 252 HP, 6 Speed
Crunch
Pursuit
Earthquake
Stone Edge
T-Tar is a total powerhouse, STAB Crunch/Stone Edge+Choice Band can put a dent in any Pokemon with a neutral hit.
Pursuit does some damage on fleeing Rotoms and Latiases(?). Earthquake is for Heatran, Empoleon and any other Steel types.
Scizor @ Life Orb
Ability:Technician
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -Spec. Atk)
EVs: 252 Speed, 252 Atk, 6 HP
Swords Dance
Brick Break
Bullet Punch
Bug Bite
Last but not least... Scizor! I never really got interested in them until I found out that their only weakness was a 4x Fire. Brick Break keeps Heatran away, Bullet Punch get's power from STAB, Technician, Life Orb and Swords Dance... with prority! Great Scizor attack. Last is Bug Bite, goodfight Celebi. Bug Bite gets power from STAB, Technician, Life Orb and Swords Dance too, and it steals any berries.
This is my first time playing a Gen4 game and my first OU team, so tips, comments and constructive critism is greatly appreciated.
Thanks for reading.
