OU Sandstorm team

I've been playing pokemon for many years and just got into competitive battles.
I decided that playing a sandstorm team would be fun and this is what I produced.

Hippowdon (F) @ Smooth Rock
Trait: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Slack Off
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
- Stone Edge
Hippowdon is my main sandstorm maker. Relatively high defence and can set up stealth rock. Earthquake and stone edge are for getting rid of pokemon early in the game.

Tyranitar (M) @ Smooth Rock
Trait: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Crunch
- Stone Edge
- Fire Punch
- Hone Claws
Tyranitar is my back up sandstorm maker. Hone claws to get tyranitars attack up early. Fire punch is to get rid of grass and steel types which can really bother my team. One of my main three sweepers.

Landorus @ Smooth Rock
Trait: Sand Force
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature
- Sandstorm
- Psychic
- Earth Power
- Rock Polish
Landorus is sort of a back-back up sandstorm maker. The main reason I've got him in is because he can quickly take down some pokemon. But often is one hit KO. Probably the most expendable pokemon on this team.

Scizor (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Technician
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Bug Bite
- Bullet Punch
- Superpower
- Swords Dance
Scizor is my main sweeper. Not sure if it's better to have lower powered moves and have technician or high powered moves and swarm. Not sure if I should have swords dance or another psychical move.

Cradily (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Storm Drain
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk
Adamant Nature
IVs: 30 Def / 30 SDef / 30 Spd
- Hidden Power [Water]
- Toxic
- Ingrain
- Giga Drain
Cradily is very good for taking water moves with storm drain, which is usually a major problem. Good for dealing slow damage to other pokemon. Counters roar/whirlwind teams a bit with ingrain.

Gliscor (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Hyper Cutter
EVs: 184 HP / 252 Atk / 72 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Ice Fang
- Roost
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
Gliscor is main other main sweeper. It gets rid of dragon pokemon, which is important and deals damage to most other pokemon with earthquake and stone edge just like most of the other pokemon.

Would love some feedback about anything on this team.

Here's a tip, tyranitar doesn't need smooth rock because the sandstorm produced from sand stream is permanent.

Hello Ollie920,This team is ok ,but i think i have somethings to make it better.

First, on Hippowdon Take off Smooth Rock and put leftovers.Sand Stream makes Permanent sand.

Next,if your going to run a sweeper set i would use Dragon Dance ,but in the end i would Change the Whole Set.I would use this set Instead:

Tyranitar @ Choice Band
Trait: Sand Stream
EVs: 180 HP / 252 Atk / 76 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Crunch
- Pursuit
- Stone Edge
- Superpower

You Have A Ton of Attack Power right from the Start ,but the only downside is that you are locked into one move.Crunch is your Main STAB and can do alot of Damage to any Pokemon.Pursuit is good at Trapping Celebi,Latios, and Latias through on Celebi watch out for Leaf Storm.Stone Edge can hit Alot of Pokemon for More Damage than Crunch.Super Power if for Steel Types that try to all it.

On Landorus Take off Smooth Rock and put Life Orb ,and then take off Sandstorm For Focus Blast so you can beat Ferrothorn ,or you can get Hp Ice to beat dragons ,but thats your Choice.

Also, on cradily i Don't get the Set That much besides Ingrain For whirlwind. But, why Hp Water.

Hope i Helped =) dont have time to finish.
