OU: Shuckle!

Hello Ladies! This is my newest Pokémon team that I’ve made so I figured I would share it with you, it is a very unique team with no repeated weaknesses and a great move pool so I hope you guys enjoy it

(N/@)Shuckle @ Leftovers
Bold Nature
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 40 Def / 216 Sp.Def
-Rest
-Toxic
-Knock Off
-Stealth Rock
Now you’re probably thinking “What the hell is this guys issue?” well it’s a unique Pokémon especially as a can opener, I particularly use this to annoy people and if you get annoyed in a Pokémon battle it often leads to making moves you wouldn’t usually use and that’s a major advantage in competitive battling. I use him to set up Stealth Rock, Toxic, and then I’ll just rest them to death rinsing and repeating (Not forgetting to take their Leftovers ha-ha) that’s about all he can do but once you use him you will see why he is so powerful. (NOTE: What’s your opinion on a Charizard lead instead of Shuckle)

(N/@)Swampert @ Leftovers
Impish Nature
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Attack / 4 Sp.Def
-Earthquake
-Waterfall
-Avalanche
-Stone Edge
I use this Pokémon as a filler and a sturdy attacker, It’s a physical attacker unlike most mixes that you run into allot, He is my main counter for Metagross, Garchomp (Not for OU Competition of course), and any fire pokemon other than Infernape because of Grass Knot. Earthquake standard issue assault rifle I guess ha-ha. Waterfall to take out Infernape if I must use Swampert and other Rock/Fire that possibly know a Grass move. Avalanche simply to kill Grass and Ground Pokemon. Stone Edge my unguided cannon :D
metagross.png

(N/@)Metagross @ Choice Band
Adamant Nature
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Attack / 4 Speed
-Meteor Mash
-Earthquake
-Ice Punch
-Explosion
Ahhh yes, Metagross this 1,212.5 Pound monster(Where did they pull that random number from anyway?) is the key to my sweep like most Magnezone’s and Scizor’s I particularly use it to take out certain types. Pursuit is to kill the Gengar, or any other Ghost types that threaten my Gallade giving me a huge pocket in the sweeping category leaving Gallade with only Flying to worry about which isn’t so common with the exception of Dragon / Flying ect but most don’t even use Flying moves moving on, Explosion “Don’t Look Back” Ha-ha. Earthquake I use this as a great prediction move to Magnezone in hopes of a KO, and many other Rock / Steel Types that think they are going to switch in on my ChoiceGross. Meteor Mash covers a lot of ground for my whole team and is a very effective STAB.
gallade.png

(N/@)Gallade @ Expert Belt
Adamant Nature
Ability: Steadfast
EVs: 236 HP / 252 Attack / 20 Sp.Def
-Close Combat
-Psycho Cut
-Night Slash
-Will-O-Wisp
Gallade, one of my favorite Pokémon two weaknesses and two resistances pretty solid and a great move pool I use this to take sweepers out with Will-O-Wisp and my Fighting, Psychic, and Ghost move pool hits every Pokémon with ease. Gallade’s respectable defenses bring it above most coverage Pokémon around. Moving on Gallade is a great Pokémon if you know how to use him.
porygonZ.png

(N/@)Porygon-Z @ Silk Scarf
Timid Nature
Ability: Adaptability
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Sp.Atk / 252 Speed
-Thunderbolt
-Solar Beam
-Tri Attack
-Hyper Beam
This cracked out origami project is my Sp.Atk sweeper that I typically use after Gallade is down (And by then their Ghost and Fighting Pokemon)that leaves a pocket for Porygon-Z to clean out a Swampert and Vaporeon ECT. Tri Attack Is my pride and joy Silk Scarf + Adaptability = Catastrophic effect it is ridiculous amount of damage put onto one target if I’m aloud to get a Hyper Beam oh lord It’s amazing that being said this is my glass cannon and if Porygon-Z does its job my sweep should be certain.
flygon.png

(F) Flygon @ Life Orb
Naïve Nature
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Attack / 252 Speed /
-Outrage
-Roost
-Fire Punch
- Earthquake
Flygon my broom of the team particularly because she knows Fire Punch the last thing I need for a good sweep. (Considering none of the other Pokemon on my team can even learn a Fire move) Flygon’s Levitate ability makes her Immune to Electric type attacks along with Ground attacks giving great coverage and of course x4 ICE Weakness but no worries by now most my major threats are possibly gone. Outrage is a risky move over Dragon Claw but I don’t care and it owns people so I’m using it. Roost sweet and simple restores what my Life Orb took. Fire Punch will take out any Skarmory, Lucario, Bronzong , Magnezone, ect. Earthquake I’ve gone over a billion times but it’s so good its needed a lot. That just about sums it up so have at it an rate me fairly.

My 2 cents:
I used to use a Shuckle Lead on my stall team. It worked really well, but mine was a little different. I maxed HP and Defense EVs because Shuckle can't wall special water attacks, and enough opponents had T-Tars for the Sandstorm boost to its SpD anyway. Also, encore was the staple of my set to prevent set-ups. I'd get rid of toxic to fit it.

Full Credit to your team for haveing pretty good synergy but saddly thats pretty much all thats good about it.

Yea go with what Ace matador said, he is far more qualified than me but anyway,

Your shuckle loses to most, if not all commonly used leads. Metagross can MM or Earthquake or set up SR, Jirachi can use Iron Head, or set up SR or trick (depending on the version), Gliscor can taunt and SR, Roserade can sleep and then toxic spikes/spikes up and Azelf can taunt and SR or even trick. I could go on....
If you want to use shuckle definatly give it encore otherwise moving swampert into a lead spot and use the analysis lead set.

Metagross is fine authough I am not sure if you are using pursuit or Ice punch as you talk about pursuit but it is not listed.

Porygon Z: I am not sure what you are trying to do with Z but seriously....Solar Beam?? WTH. Hyper Beam is a crazy strong move however the recharge turn can bite you later, I would use Ace's suggestion and swap it out for Specs Latias That punches holes in teams. Used in conjuction with CB Metagross your opponients walls will take a pounding.

Flygon: Flygon is okey but the Classic Mismence set can serve you better at breaking stall which, already pointed out, your team has troubles with. Metagross synergises well with Salamence as it can switch in on steel, Ice, and Dragon attacks aimed at salamence and fire off powerfull CB attacks.

Gallade: ....Gallade is okey but i am not sure what you are doing with it. If you want to burn pokemon a Dusknoir or Rotom can do that better. If you want to sweep with it I would but Swords Dance over Will-o-Wisp to make it more sweeper focused. Alternativly you could swap it for SD Lucario which switchs in on steel or dark type attacks directed at Latias (im thinking scizor here) and can SD up and threaten to sweep.

Lastly if you took my advice and swapped out suckle then perhaps a LO starmie might be suitable for your team as a late gaem cleaner. It can even function as a lead can move Swampert down to second spot by using Rapid Spin over recover. Rapid spin makes salamence switch in easier and Starmie can still come in later and clean if required.

Well thats it, try out my suggestions and have a nice day!

One thing I have to say other than its a unique team, on shuckle try encore to trap pokemon on stealth rock
