My team is preforming poorly, but I don't know why. Can somebody help me with my team?
Infernape @ Focus Sash
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 64 Att, 252 spA, 192 spe
Nature: Naive
- Fake Out
- Stealth Rock
- Fire Blast
- Close Combat
I really like Infernape as a lead. Fake Out only backfires to Protect, he can set up Stealth Rock, take a hit, and also deal it out. The only time Infernape is not my lead is against Politoed.
Gengar @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP, 252 spA, 252 spd
Nature: Timid
- Substitute
- Shadow Ball
- Focus Blast
- Thunderbolt
Gengar is very versatile. He can anti-lead, lead against Politoed, be an agressive Special Sweeper, and a SpinBlocker.
Lucario @ Life Orb
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 252 Att, 4 spD, 252 spe
Nature: Adamant
- Swords Dance
- ExtremeSpeed
- Close Combat
- Crunch
This is where things start to take a turn for the worse. Lucario can sweep a whole team if he SD's a few times, but he has a lot of weaknesses and often can't stand a chance. I can't, however, find a suitable replacement.
Blissey @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP, 252 Def, 4 spd
Nature: Bold :naughty:
- Wish
- Protect
- Seismic Toss
- Toxic
Blissey is SUPPOSED to be a Special Wall, but is 1HKOed by Volcarona and 2HKOed by most sweepers. My tank is supposed to be...
Bronzong @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP, 84 Atk, 80 Def, 92 spD
IVs: 2 spe
Nature: Sassy
- HP Ice
- Gyro Ball
- Payback
- Earthquake
I can't see what's wrong with Bronzong, but he gets hit hard and often. Rarely do his moves do much damage, and nearly all attempts to defend are in vain.
Forretres @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP, 112 Att, 144 Def
IVs: spd 0
Nature: Relaxed
- Spikes
- Rapid Spin
- Gyro Ball
- Payback
I don't think I really need a Spinner on my team, as I rarely encounter S/SR/TS. Thoughts?
Phew! That was a lot to type. Thanks for the help! :D
