OU standard team

Hey guys, this team I am making is OK at best, They win about 50% of battles. I feel like it needs improvement, any suggestions? BTW, I am not very good to begin with so don't say things like "you suck" because I know I do :x

Staraptor (Jolly)
Intimidate
@choiceband
4HP/252Attack/252Speed
~Close Combat
~Quick Attack
~Brave Bird
~U-turn
Reason: Staraptor is my signature pokemon, he is on almost all of my non-weather OU teams. If I could keep on on the team that would be most ideal.

Breloom (adamant)
Poison Heal
@Toxic Orb
248HP/252Attack/8Sp. Def.
~Focus Punch
~Spore
~Mach punch
~sword dance
Reason: I never used Breloom before and I wanted to test it out, It is pretty good but I feel like it's move set needs improvement as I have no coverage for ghosts/psychics/etc.

Jellicent (calm)
Water Absorb
@leftovers
252HP/a Sp. Attack/252 Sp. Def.
~recover
~Ice beam
~scald
~Will-O-wisp
Reason: Takes down offensive walls by burning them, trolls by healing all the time, and gives rain teams problems with water absorb.

Heatran (calm)
Flash Fire
@air Balloon
252HP/a Sp. Attack/252 Sp. Def.
~Earth power
~Will-O-Wisp
~Lava plume
~Stealth Rocks

Reason: Basically the fire version of Jellicent, gives most sun teams and sandstorm teams big problems as long as air balloon remains in-tact.

Ferrothorn (Brave)
Iron Barbs
@Leftovers
252HP/4Attack/252Def.
~Leech Seed
~Spikes
~thunder wave
~Power Whip
Reason: DIE RAIN TEAMS, DIE! (also, set up)

Salamance (Jolly)
moxie
@Leftovers
252 Attack/4 Sp. Def.
~Dragon claw
~earthquake
~Fire fang
~dragon dance
reason: Kinda like Staraptor but better type coverage, however, I feel like Staraptor is capable of things Salamance isn't.

Problems with team: I have no special sweepers :( I was thinking about Gengar as a nice alternative but focus blasts acc. scares me. Meanwhile I don't want to get rid of Staraptor because of my stubbornness despite being like a weaker Salamance. HELP!

Hi
Rule 3 said:
Have some actual words in your post beyond your six Pokemon and their moves. Not following this makes your post quite boring to read and rate. All Pokemon should have a good reason for being in your team anyway, so why not post that reason? If you are having trouble with this one, start by giving an explanation for each team member. Why are they there? What role do they serve? How do you get them in? Then, give an explanation of how you would open with the team and how you would go about using it. All of these things help people rate your team and allow us to offer more helpful advice.

This does not mean add one sentence saying "Standard x" or "all-around awesome" after each Pokemon. If you put thought into making the team, you can put thought into posting it. The standard description length required is three to four lines, if you need more insight look on the detail part, check out the RMT Archive.

Your RMT is breaking that rule. Have at the very least three lines. PM me with your updated descriptions and I'll unlock this thread.
