OU Sun Blazers V2

Well I made alot of changes to my previous team which caused it to suck so to speak so I started from scratch and hope for better results. So here is the version 2.0 and hope to have better results. So here it is,

Ninetales@leftovers
Drought
EVS: 160Hp, 252SpA, 96Spe
Timid nature
Fire Blast
Solarbeam
Sunny day
Will-o-Wisp>Toxic

I use Fire Blast as stab+with the sun makes for excellent damage on almost everything. Solarbeam is used to hit water and pure ground types hard plus with the sun there is no charge time with it and can do excellent damage. Hidden Power Ice hits dragon hard that think they can switch in on Ninetales. Will-O-Wisp hits physical attackers that may also wanna switch in, also thinking about putting toxic in this to do some damage to common threats.
I have set the EVS so that Ninetakes can win the weather war with the other weather starters that are in the OU metagame.

Venusaur@ Life orb
Chlorophyll
EVS: 56Att, 252Spa, 200Spe
Hasty
Growth
Giga Drain
Earthquake
Hidden Power Ice

Venusar is my chlorophyll abuser I am giving him a shot on this team if people wanna suggest a new user that will better to suit this team let me know. This is simple I use growth to both increase Attack and special attack. Giga drain is there special stab moves that can hit hard after a growth and Earthquake is there for some attack so when people try to bring there special walls out I can hit them for some real damage.

Heatran @ Leftovers | Flash Fire
252 SAtk / 56 HP / 200 Spe
Timid Nature
- Magma Storm
- Solar Beam
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Sunny Day

This is my rain and sandstorm destroyer . I use thunderbolt instead of thunder because the sun reduces the accuracy even more and really don't wanna count on that when battling. Thunderwave is there to cripple speeders that wanna try to outrun me. Hidden Power Ice is there the keep dragon and grass types in check. Hammer arm is there to keep tyrantiar and the pink blobs in check.

51.png

Dugtrio@Focus Sash
Arena Trap
Evs: 4Hp, 252Att, 252Spe
Jolly
Ivs: 21Hp, 0Def, 0SpD
Stone Edge
Earthquake
Reversal
Stealth Rock

Dugtrio is the weather introducer killer and lead. Stone edge is there to handle dragon types that may lead on types. Earthquake is there to handle t-tar and other rock types that may lead reversal is to handle politoad that may lead as well

667.png

Volcarona@leftovers
Flame Body
Evs: 144Hp, 84Def, 120SpA, 160Spe
Timid
Quiver Dance
Fiery Dance
Bug Buzz
Roost

Bulky Volcarona FTW. This thing can take a hit or two allowing me to set up the quiver dance to gain stats. Have fiery dance there as well to try and gain some special attack as well. Bug buzz is there to hit everything that may resist fire types. Roost is there for some recovery to keep it going

205.png

Forretress@leftovers
Sturdy
Evs: 252Hp, 252Def, 4Att
Relaxed , 0 Spe IVs
Pain Split
Gyro Ball
Spikes>Toxic Spikes
Rapid Spin

Ahhhhhhh good ol forretress one of the best spinners/ def walls on the game. Pain split is keep him alive longer. Gyro ball is the one attack that forrestress always have no reason to explain, spikes or toxic spikes really havent decided yet let me know what you think because dugtrio has stealth rock covered and rapid spin to get rid of entry hazards.

Well Ive done my part now its time for you people to do your part give me a hand and rate the team and recommend some changes or new pokemon that can make this team better. So thank you for looking and happy rating.

Alright. Just some quick pointers and nitpicks before I get back to my homework. For Ninetales, I'd recommend a spread of 160 HP / 252 SpA / 96 Spe with the Timid nature you're currently using. This gives Ninetales the ability to kill off Thick Fat Mamoswine in the sun with Fire Blast, a move which I'd recommend you use over Flamethrower. I'd also recommend using Sunny Day over Hidden Power Ice for Ninetales. For Dugtrio, I'd recommend using a Hasty Nature and an IV spread of 21 HP / 0 Def / 0 SpD. This minimizes Dugtrio's defenses, allowing it to hit Reversal range faster. I'll edit in a full rate later. For now though, good luck!

I have some suggestions to this team which is excellent. This team has a major weakness to Tornadus-T. If Politoed wins weather wars then Tornadus can SPAM a STAB Hurricane which will completely decimate you team. To fix this I suggest Thundurus-T to a Scarfed Salamence. With Salamence Scarfed you can outspeed Tornadus-T and OHKO it with an amazing coverage with Stone Edge and Tornadus-T barely outspeeds Dugtrio.

Salamence @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Moxie
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpAtk / 252 Spd
Nature: Naive (+Spd, - SpDef)
-Fire Blast
-Stone Edge
-Outrage
-Brick Break

Fire Blast = Sun Boost
Brick Break = Dual Screen Breaker
Stone Edge = Good Coverage
Outrage = STAB and OHKOs many Frail Threats / Glass Cannons

Your Shiftry also Lacks, so I reccommend switching it with Venusaur or Sawsbuck. Look it up. Much better.

Hello, i'm really tired atm, so I may not be able to give you a full rate.

First off I suggest running a different spread on Forretress. Running a Relaxed Nature with a spread of 252 HP / 176 Def / 80 SDef | 0 Speed IV with Volt Switch over Pain Split gives you a nice Heatran lure, which Dugtrio can successfully trap with no problem, as Volt Switch can break the sash with ease.

Now that Thundurus - T spread does seem a bit weird, and i'm not sure what all those EVs actually do. Dragon Dance Dragonite with Fire Punch can run right through you. Thundurus - T doesn't stand a chance, and your only chance is to lure out Outage and hopefully Gyro Ball it to death with Forretress. This is similar to many dragons, and having only 1 dragon resist in Forretress in a metagame fulled with them is not the best idea. To fix this, and offer some team support in the meantime, I suggest trying out Magma Trapper Heatran to defeat many weather setters which can be a problem for your team. It can eliminate Politoed, Tyranitar, and obviously Abomasnow, while providing a check to other dragons and sun sweepers like Volcarona who also threaten your team greatly.
