OU Team 1v1 DPP

Before reading my Team, I want to tell you anything, I'm french, so I hope you will excuse me for my spelling mistakes xD

Hello. In this threat, I will post my new Team, which I use under an account named "Hitokiri Raguraaji". I created this Team in order to test this kind of Team, and it works. I'm around 1350-1400 on the Ladder (I lose a lot of matches by haxx ><*), I'm actually trying to have a better rating, my aim is to be in the Leaderboard x)

The Team:

Nidoqueen @ Leftovers
Poison Point
Impish, 252 HPs & Def, 4 Att.
Stealth Rock
Toxic Spikes
Earthquake
Fire Blast

A great lead, I can set up Stealth Rock almost everytime. I can sometimes set up Toxik Spikes, depending opponent's lead. Fire Blast is here to say "Bye bye Forretress!", and to give me an assurance vs Scizor if Rotom is dead or has lose a lot of HPs, for allow him to heal himself later.

Rotom-h @ Leftovers
Levitate
Bold, 252 HPs & Def, 4 SpAtt.
Charge Beam
Overheat
Rest
Sleep Talk

Scizor must die =D I know Charge Beam and Overheat are contradictary, but I need both. Absorb Statut, I use him to take Breloom's Spore, and next I send Nidoqueen. He's afraid Tyra might come without WoW, I know it, but with WoW, Rotom can't be Talker, so he can't heal himself without letting opponent's Sweepers come in, I can't take this risk x) And WoW is contradictary with Toxic Spikes xD

143.png

Snorlax @ Leftovers
Immunity
Careful, 252 HPs, 200 SpDef, 56 Def.
Toxik
Return
Pursuit
Rest

Spec Wall. Just amazing against Gengar, Latias Orber, SubRotom (I've seen it this morning a lot of times) with Pursuit (and Toxik for Latias, she can only die after Toxik)... With Toxik he can poison Flying/Levitate ones, and he can poison before I can set up Toxic Spikes.

248.png

Tyranitar @ Life Orb
Sand Stream
Jolly, 252 Att & Speed, 4 HPs.
Dragon Dance
Stone Edge
Crunch
Fire Punch

I love him <3 If Scizor fainted, he does some damages x) He helps me vs Azelf and Smeargle leads: vs Azelf, I switch on Tyra, it he uses Taunt, I kill him with Crunch, if he uses Stealth Rock, I switch and Rotom, and the opponent, thinking I would use Pursuit with a Choice Tyranitar, use Explosion, and on Rotom... What happen? Azelf dead, and me, nothing XD; vs Smeargle, I switch on Rotom, Spore, I switch on Tyra, he uses Stealth Rock, thinking I use Pursuit, he uses Spikes, I use Dragon Dance, and I try Fire Punch to kill a possible Scizor on the switch.

482.png

Azelf @ Choice Scarf
Levitate
Naive, 252 Speed, 158 SpAtt, 100 Att.
U-Turn
Psychic
Fire Blast
Explosion

Very great Scarfer. I think I don't need to give a lot of precisions... Psychic for the STAB, Fire Blast for Jirachi, Scizor, etc..., U-Turn for scouting, Explosion at the end of the match, or the end of Azelf's HPs (I use it to beat Gliscor, I've trouble killing him) XD

395.png

Empoleon @ Petaya Berry
Torrent
Timid, 252 Speed & SpAtt, 4 Def.
30 IVs SpAtt
Substitute
Agility
Surf
HP Electrik

Just THE Pokemon I need in my Team. Why? He resist to Dragon and Water. I can switch it in on after Choice Scizor's Bullet Punch. If my opponent set up Stealth Rock, and if I don't take any other damages (excepted Substitute), it's perfect, I have +2 Speed, +1 SpAtt, Torrent and 19% HPs, that allow him to resist to Scizor's Bullet Punch.

This Team, with Pursuit, Spikes-like, Toxik and SS, wear down the opponent's Team, and has a heavy Sweep, with Azelf which can Revenge Kill easily a lot of Pokemon, Rotom which can boost his SpAtt and do some damages, and Tyranitar and Empoleon which are good late game Sweepers, especially if, respectively, Scizor and Blissey are dead.

Now I wait your comments. Thank you ;]

Snorlax really shouldn't be running that set without a Choice Band/Curse. I suggest you try a Curselax, which in my opinion is Snorlax's best set:

Snorlax @ Leftovers
Careful Nature
168 HP / 120 Def / 220 SpD
~ Curse
~ Body Slam
~ Selfdestruct
~ Earthquake / Crunch

This version of Snorlax works better was a tank. Curse up a few times and then Body Slam/ Earthquake. If you'd rather give up the paralysis factor, Return is an option over Body Slam. If you'd rather Snorlax stay alive longer, or destroy a set-up sweeper, you can choose between Rest and Self-Destruct in the third slot. Earthquake and Crunch is up to your preference (however, your team seems quite SD Lucario weak, so I suggest EQ)

hope I helped :P

As I previously stated in another RMT today, the thing that gets benefited most by toxic spikes is a rotom substitute set. Try this out, and it will aid your team.

Rotom-A @ Leftovers
Timid nature
EV's: 4 hp/252 spa/252 spd
Moveset:
-substitute
-charge beam
-shadow ball
-will o wisp/ hp fighting/ thunderbolt

This set scares away any Scizor, so you can just sub on the switch. Empoleon doesn't need HP Electric. Ice beam is a better option, because waters will already be hurting from toxic spikes. If you do decide to hurt waters regardless, use grass knot, in conjuction with Hydro Pump. Hydro Pump along with SR kills most Mence, so it's pretty useful. That's all I can say about the team, good luck!

I take HP Electrik to hurt Gyarados, Rotom-a can't counter him easily, and I don't see many Gyarados @ Earthquake x) I will try Grass Knot, it can hurt Gyarados too. I'll try Rotom and Snorlax too, thanks x)

Rotom-A is bulky enough to take a hit from Gyarados and OHKO back; it's actually rather a good counter. You shouldn't run Overheat and Charge Beam together, though. If you really need Overheat, change to a Scarfed Trick set. If you really need the RestTalker (or Charge Beam), then run the SubCharge set or Will-o-wisp over Overheat.

Gyarados isn't something that Empoleon typically needs to worry about anyway. Ice Beam or Torrent-and-Petaya-boosted Surf is good enough to 2HKO anyway.

@ Tyranitar: i too use DD Tar and i find it to be REALLY destructive if played right. You could try running earthquake instead of fire punch seeing as your Nidoqueen is the only one using it. Leads tend to be good at one thing: leading. You have 3 other Pokemon who have a fire type move so it could help, but like you said, its great for scizors ^.^

Take note of my suggestion if you wish =D
