OU team, a first time RMT

So, this is my first RMT—I honestly think this can be a lot better team with several tweaks, and some actual sense of direction, which I seem to have trouble with in the team-making stage/ but I really seem to need it when I’m playing with it. Therefore, I really don’t care if you switch out one or two team members. As you can see, I’m really using bog—standard movsets except for my lead, so probably switching out pokes is the best way to improve this team, except for minor nitpicks. Now to team itself:

Espeon (F) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 160 Def/96 Spd/252 SAtk
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Hidden Power [Ground]
- Psychic
- Trick
- Signal Beam

This is my anti-lead. I don’t have to be a mind reader to tell if you’re reading this through, you are thinking, “OH man this is stupid. If I switch a tar in, you lose a pokemon for nothing!—actually I think (but I’m too lazy to actually do the calculations but i'm talking from experience) it 3HKO’s a tar when choiced into Signal Beam/ HP ground and actually it survives a pursuit if you don’t run away. That means that if you simply switch a tar in, most likely you will lose it before you know what just hit you. Also, some careful players avoid such obvious move, thinking I have HP fighting to lure Tar and kill it. All in all, more often than not this Espeon is able to come in for a second round, usually revenge killing something like an Infernape or a Salamence, a big threat to the team otherwise.

Common Lead Matchups:
-Azelf:-Signal beam. Allows a rock for a KO. The confusion rate always tends to help here for some reason XD
-Aerodactyl: Psychic-Same as azelf, except that this is the riskiest move to be locked into ever.
-Swampart: Trick Scarf. Bye Bye.
-Hippowdon: Same as above
-Metagross: HP ground- it’s a 2HKO. But he will KO me with Meteor Mash+ Bullet punch. So Attack only once, and switch in Magnezone.
-Jirachi: HP ground for 2HKO. I also have a chance with sure kill with Magnezone.
-Infernape: Never faced one, but I think I will HP ground. It might simply get beasted, but haven’t done the calculations.
-Ninjask: Switch to Salamence and dance up. It’s a risky move, but more often than not I am able to get approximately one less speed boost as he does, and really when he’s using a ninjask, it’s passing to something quite slow, so I will be able to beat him nonetheless. Just make sure I don’t get too greedy, and I will kill whatever it passes to and take down a couple more with him. It’s sometimes funny to see him pass the -1 Attack boost with him, too.
- Tyranitar: So far I have been assuming that the Ttar I face will switch in. Sadly, tyranitars are quite fearful leads themselves, and I will lose a team member for sure. This is why I have…

Breloom (M) @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 48 HP/252 Atk/208 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Focus Punch
- Substitute
- Spore
- Seed Bomb

This thing is a BEAST. The main problem is, it isn’t bulky enough, or simply too slow to usually set up on ANYTHING. Therefore, opposing Ttars make exellent set-up bait for Breloom. It’s almost like saying I sweep half your team with this if you have the only thing that might actually be able to stop my Espeon from sweeping half your team with Psychic. Either way I get a good, satisfying early sweep, in theory that is. (Honestly, this hasn’t worked at all in practice. Still, this is not to detract from its pure destructive power and as an all-purpose T-tar counter.

Magnezone @ Leftovers
Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 40 Atk/216 Spd/252 SAtk
Naive nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Substitute
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Explosion

This thing was another must. Before, I had HP fire on Espeon, but I kept on getting wrecked by any form of Heatran—so I took HP ground on Espie. This took away its main intention, which was baiting Scizors, make them BP, survive that BP to their extreme surprise, and HP fire for the kill. Now that was impossible now that I was using HP ground. Therefore, I took Magnezone with it to do the same exact job. Espeons will taunt those Scizors into clicking that Bullet Punch, and the next thing they know is that they lost their Scizor. Really, it’s a pretty standard Magnezone, trapping and killing all steels not named Heatran.

Shuckle (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Gluttony
EVs: 248 HP/252 Def/8 SDef
Impish nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Rest
- Encore
- Toxic
- Knock Off

This thing doesn’t quite fit with the flow of the team. It really doesn’t. This is actually an old remnant of what used to be of this team, which had Tyranitar instead of Empoleon. Then Tyranitar wasn’t pulling his weight. So I took him out. Now Shuckle is still in working order (really this is kinda like a compensation, If you just killed my espeon lead for free, I get a sandstorm that really makes the shuckle beastly). It just Encores a move, and allows Breloom or Salamence a free switch in. Also, first time in, I just spam the move toxic and knock off instead of Encore. This way, then people will be afraid of switching out from this thing because they don’t want this to toxic and the majority of their team, and I’ve seen many cases where people stay in on Encored calm minds or substitutes simply because they don’t want the Toxic weakening their team. Therefore it can act like a mini Wobbuffet, except for revenge killing the choicers part. That is to say it’s not really like a Wobbuffet at all. Still, it’s the buying setup time that this Shuckle really helps with the team.

Empoleon (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 24 HP/232 Spd/252 SAtk
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Agility
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- Grass Knot

This is the weakest link of my team, as to say. I know enough that I can’t just give you guys five members and ask for the sixth—that’s just saying that I’m too lazy to think, and could you guys please think for me? Well so I did most of the thinking part, except that I can’t exactly find something that fits for me. It should be able to take rock and especially water attacks with ease. I’m mostly looking towards Vaporeon if I’m to replace this guy at all, being my favorite bulky water, and being able to pass wishes for Shuckle and all. Well, you guys help me with this. Either this, or a standard wishpass vappy. This one adds to my momentum, adding another setup sweeper benefitting heavily from Shuckle. Vappy adds to the beastly walling of Shuckle. Another levitator/revenger will be fine as well, since this ground weakness at the moment is forcing Breloom and Salamence at times I really do not want to.

Salamence (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 232 Atk/252 Spd/24 SAtk
Naive nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake
- Outrage
- Fire Blast

Standard DDMence. Well, let me see if you read carefully. I said the main intention of the Espeon lead was to lead Scizors into the match and eliminate them with Magnezone. This is the sweeper my friend recommended when I told him I was looking for something that will do well in a scizor-less metagame. Without Scizor, this has better chance of sweeping the opponent without getting picked up by Bullet punch. I bring this thing as a lategame sweeper, cleaning up the whole mess (hence Roost is unnecessary)
---

Also, I need help putting those sprites into these RMT’s. And for those tiny cute icons people use for the lead matchup, I wonder where I can get that, too. Sorry for the plain text. Can anyone help me with that? I’m not good with computers.

Also, I know there are some known weaknesses-say something like zapdos totally ruins my team.
Also, I might benefit from a revenge killer other than espeon (which might not make it to the remainder of the match)- as of now if they have a T-tar and an infernape in the same team, I might as well just give up.
