OU team, hopefully not too terrible

I'm new to the forums, and here is my "team" I guess you might call it. I guess it isn't that cohesive because Infernape, PorygonZ and Alakazam sweep, Vaporeon is a tank, Snorlax is a fatty that beats up things, and Aerodactyl is kind of just there.

It's probably feebly structured because I'm new at competition in general, but in-game and vs. friends who are equally bad at team building, this team has served me very well. I would really appreciate advice, because I need it badly.

Aerodactyl w/ Leftovers
Ability: pressure|Nature: jolly (+spe, - sp atk)
EVs: hp6, atk252, spe252
Crunch
Iron Head
Stealth Rock
Dragon Claw

I'm using the Aerodactyl without a choice belt because after I use stealth rock I dont really feel like switching out. Not really much else I'd think of explaining...

Infernape w/ leftovers
Ability: Blaze|Nature: Adamant (+atk, -sp atk)
EVs: hp6, atk252, spe252
Poison jab
Earthquake
Fire punch
Shadow claw

This guy is mostly for sweeping, and I think the range of vulnerable types makes him kind of worthwhile.

dpmfsa474.png

PorygonZ w/ leftovers
Ability: Download|Nature Modest (+sp atk, - atk)
EVs: hp 6, sp atk 252, spe 252
Signal Beam
Thunderbolt
Ice beam
Dark pulse

A special sweeper, kind of like the special attack form of a REALLY unconventional Infernape.

dpmfa134.png

Vaporeon w/ leftovers
Ability: water absorb|Nature: modest (+sp atk, - atk)
EVs: hp 252, sp def 68, def 184
Aqua ring
Toxic
Substitute
Surf

This is the only one where I kind of feel like I have a grip on this competitive stuff. Basically a tank: puts up a dummy to avoid damage, and recovers half of hp used to make dummy each turn, while the opponent is striking pointlessly and losing gradually more hp each turn. I was actually thinking about making it totally without attack moves and replacing surf with yawn. I'm pretty sure that would turn out really well or really badly, so thats a point on which I'd like counsel.

dpmfa065.png

Alakazam w/ Leftovers
Ability: Synchronize|Nature: modest (+sp atk, - atk)
EVs: hp 6, sp atk 252, speed 252
Psychic
Shadowball
Endergyball
Shockwave

Yet another sweeper, I simply dont know what else to include in this team.

dpmfa143.png

Snorlax w/ Leftovers
Ability: Thick Skin|Nature: Careful (+sp def, -sp atk)
Crunch
Substitute
Double Edge
Belly Drum

This Snorlax is really only here because I'm stupid and not very creative. I needed an extra pokemon to make 6, but being such a bad team-maker, I dont suppose that 1 pokemon would make a difference.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Your movesets are really quite bad to be honest. You should have a look through the analyses to get an idea for what works.

Hi, welcome to smogon.

RMT Rules said:
15. As a site dedicated to competitive battling, we request that your team is as competitive as possible within its given metagame. In-game teams, gimmick teams and teams that demonstrate a lack of understanding of the metagame will be closed. Battle Tower teams are permitted. "Theme Teams" are also OK as long as they demonstrate an understanding of the competitive metagame they are to be used in. This is completely up to the discretion of the mods.

Please learn the ropes of the competitive game a bit better before posting your team for a rate. Perhaps have a look at the Battling 101 Forum and try to get a tutor for next round to help you with your teambuilding.
