"OU" Team I've been using for a long time

<shoddy team>
It never really got me high on the ladder, but I enjoy using it for the fun factor (compliments are common). I was just wondering what improvements everyone here could give it (especially for Platinum).

Lead
"Yanmega"
Venomoth @ Focus Sash
Timid 252 SpAtk 252 Spd 252 HP
Tinted Lens
Sleep Powder
Bug Buzz
Sludge Bomb
HP Ice
It may not have Speed Boost but the idea is the same: get a fast hypnosis, survive a hit with sash, and hit hard. Bug Buzz is a 3HKO on Gyarados, not impressive, but if slept it will usually go down, as will T-Tar, who breaks Sash.

Sweepers
"Heracross"
Pinsir @ Choice Scarf
Adamant 252 Atk 252 Spd 6 HP
Mold Breaker
X-Scissor
Stone Edge
Earthquake
Close Combat
One of the problems this team always had was speed. Well, this (the most recent addition to the team) is able to counteract that, with Choice Scarf giving it up to 403 Speed. I may take some EVs off to give it 396 and put some more in Defence. It is best to predict a Heatran switch-in as otherwise it will outspeed and OHKO. EQ is the move of choice there. X-Scissor is a good reliable STAB move, while Stone Edge is for Zappy and his friends and CC kills off T-Tar (among other things)

"Gyarados"
Feraligatr @ Expert Belt
Adamant 252 Atk 252 Spd 6 HP
Torrent
Dragon Dance
Waterfall
Ice Punch
Earthquake
An absolute beast if it sets up, much like its cousin Gyarados. Ironically Gyarados (and water-types in general) are its main counters, but if brought out late game, when they have been erased, it can work wonders. Ice Punch for Dragons, EQ for Electric-types. Not much more to say here.

Walls
"Donphan"
Claydol @ Leftovers
Relaxed 252 HP 136 Def 120 SpDef
Levitate
Stealth Rock
Rapid Spin
Earthquake
Ice Beam
Definitely a weak link in this team, if I'm honest. Either it doesn't spin (or doesn't need to, seeing as only one of the team is actually affected by it), or it doesn't set up SR, or its attacks are weak, or it doesn't tank very well. And Donphan is now BL. Thinking of possibly switching a fast special sweeper in for this. Currently it's a mixed wall with spinning and SRing capabilities as well as the Ground/Ice attacking combination.

"Cresselia"
Weezing @ Black Sludge
Bold 252 HP 252 Def 6 SpA
Levitate
Will-o-Wisp
Thunderbolt
Haze
Pain Split

Good, strong physical wall. How this can be UU mystifies me. Anyway, provides me with a nice Fighting and Ground resist, as well as a Gyarados counter and Hazer (very funny against BP teams when Ninjask BPs and I just use Haze). Main problem is lack of a second attacking move, although now Chomp has gone that factor may be slightly reduced.

"Blissey"
Clefable @ Leftovers
Modest 252 HP 100 Def 104 SpAtk 52 SpDef (should I change this to just max/max Hp/SPDef?)
Magic Guard (=D)
Calm Mind
Softboiled
Thunderbolt
Ice Beam

Slow but powerful. Not the greatest special wall in the world, but Calm Mind does go quite a way to make up for that. Softboiled keeps it alive. As I mentioned, I'm not sure about the EV spread, although it seems to work. People forgetting about magic guard is amusing, since it usually grants me freedom from annoying things such as paralysis.

Former Members

"Gengar"
Froslass @ Choice Specs
Timid 252 SpAtk 252 Spd 6 HP
Snow Cloak
Ice Beam
Thunderbolt
Shadow Ball
Psychic

A decent special sweeper
Reasons removed: Lack of physical offence was costing me, too slow, too weak, no niche unlike hail team.

"Donphan MkII"
Sandslash @ Leftovers
Impish 252 HP 252 Def
Sand Veil
Swords Dance
Rapid Spin
Night Slash
Earthquake

A decent replacement for Claydol to try and find some more physical offence.
Reasons removed: Never able to set up, killed very easily

"Garchomp"
Flygon @ Choice Scarf
Naughty 128 Atk 128 SpAtk 252 Spd (I think, I used it for such a small amount of time I forget)
Fire Blast
Dragon Claw
Earthquake
Stone Edge

Attempt at ScarfChomp. Never really worked.
Reasons removed: simply too weak.
