ou team

this is my ou team. mostly for wifi, but i think it could work on shoddy too

lead
aerodactyl @ focus sash
jolly nature
pressure
evs: 252 att 252 speed
taunt
stealth rock
rock slide
earthquake

this is the lead aerodactyl. his job is to set up stealth rocks while hopefully preventing the opponent from doing the same. rock slide and earthquake provide attacking power capable of doing at least some damage to the opposing lead. i choose rock slide over stone edge because of the accuracy, the flinch rate is a bonus

gyarados@ life orb
adamant nature
intimidate
252 att 252 speed
dragon dance
earthquake
waterfall
stone edge

this is the main sweeper of my team. he has the ability to take out a whole team if used right. dragon dance once or twice and procede to attack with whatever attack will do the most damage.

skarmory @ leftovers
impish nature
252 hp 176 def 72 att 8 speed
keen eye
spikes
whirlwind
drill peck
roost

this is my wall. he can take down many physical threats, set up spikes for more entry hazards, phaze out boosters, cause some damage with drill peck or whirlwind into the hazards. the 8 speed is to outrun other skarmory and other pokes at the same base speed that have no speed evs.

jolteon @ pateya berry
timid nature
volt absorb
252 speed 252 sp att
baton pass
substitute
thunderbolt/charge beam
hidden power ice/toxic

this one poses a major threat to many. mine has the main purpose of baton passing subs and possibly sp att boosts to my team mates. this is more effectively done with charge beam, but thunderbolt allows jolteon to function on his own. hidden power ice is almost needed for jolts survival, taking out grounds better as well as dragons. toxic is for me, (i play wifi and im too lazy to breed for hp) and it helps wear down walls and gives jolteon a fighting chance against many other pokes, such as latias, hippowdon (on the switch), and blissey. he works very well in conjunction with gyarados, catching electric attacks while gyarados absorbs the earthquakes coming at jolteon.

heatran @ choice specs
modest nature
flash fire
252 speed 252 sp att
overheat
dragon pulse
earth power
another att(help needed here, explosion isnt great, probably hidden power grass would fit here

this pokemon is my main special force. he can absorb fire attacks, and pack a huge punch. if jolteon can pass a few special att boosts, nothing can stop my wrath. stab overheat takes out many foes. the heatran counters coming in will most likely be expecting a scarf tran, while specs does huge damage to anything not expecting it. also helps take out scizor along with gyrados.

im not completely sure of the last pokemon. i have been thinking shaymin, scizor, weavile, or heracross. shaymin can gain boosts from jolteon so in case heatran goes down, i have a useful sp attacker still. scizor works well with heatran pulling fire attacks towards heatran, and scizor is great all around. weavile is another that can attract fire attacks, but pulls fighting attacks more, which isnt good for this team. weavile is also a great revenge killer, and could help my team to great effect. but the poke im now using is heracross.

heracross@ choice scarf
adamant nature
guts
252 att 252 speed
close combat
pursuit
megahorn
stone edge

scarfcross has saved my ass in several battles. few realize how evvective of a sweeper he really is. he can be a status absorber, sweeper, chaser with pursuit, and whoop some ass. the moves provided have great coverage and are somewhat difficult to wall.

might wanna fix up the evs and formatting and maybe comments if you don't want TAY to come with his Lockatron 2000.

You have three pokes week to electric...I would have recommended gliscor as a physical wall, but that would be three pokes weak to water. Try forretress?

3. Have some actual words in your post beyond your six Pokemon and their moves. Not following this makes your post quite boring to read and rate. All Pokemon should have a good reason for being in your team anyway, so why not post that reason? If you're having trouble with this one, start by giving an explanation for each team member. Why are they there? What role do they serve? How do you get them in? Then, give an explanation of how you would open with the team and how you would go about using it. All of these things help people rate your team and allow us to offer more helpful advice.

This does not mean add one sentence saying "Standard x" or "all-around awesome" after each Pokemon. If you put thought into making the team, you can put thought into posting it.

Read the rules please.
