OU Type Coverage RMT

This is my first RMT here on Smogon. The point of this team is basically help defense and covering eachothers weaknesses while being offensive as possible. Seems kind of self explanatory and looking at it you can see Scizor gets a lot of help so I am thinking of making him my main sweeper or doing a hit and run type of thing with U-turn. Your ideas much appreciated.

Does a real number on a lot of pokemon. Switches in on physical attacks such as Earthquake and hits most things for super effective damage. Can play well off with Lucario if you end up facing a pursuiter.

I have had more success with Lucario. Also, I can see some late game potential as I could switch Lucario in on pursuits.

That's it I am sure I missed a lot of stuff as I had to rush this to get the library and write a paper that is due tomorrow. I would really appreciate any Ideas. I realize I probably need less CB and more support moves. But thanks a lot for any help. PS I am basically an OU noob I play UU mostly. Combination ideas from OU combination thread. Weaknesses via Gamefaqs.

Check my Swampert lead on my RMT topic.
I love it.

Also if using Swampert lead, I would take Aqua Tail away from Tyranitar and use EQ.

I also would replace Focus Blast on Gengar for Explosion. Always good to use.

Overall a nice team, glad to see Flygon used over Sala. =]

might wanna check out Rule #2 and #3 for posting a RMT: post a complete team (6... not 7. at least put Luke/Pert under an "Other Options" section and use the other) and give good descriptions (and these really aren't great)

and you have 3 Bander?! that's kinda crazy... if you wanna keep those guys i suggest keeping TTar as is, Scarfing Flygon for a Revenge Killer, and try out SD Scizor (he's just as deadly :D)

Ah thanks I will look at Swampert. Also, I apologize for the scant information I need to finish a paper right now. And I agree with you about having less CBers.

Seems a pretty solid offensive team, just a few suggestions:

1) give Swampert earthquake over waterfall, otherwise other water types will completely wall it.

2) give Gyarados taunt over ice fang: ice fang is really helpful only for Latias (you have TTar to deal with her) and other dragons, which are hit already hard by stone edge (barring Flygon which is almost ohko'd by a DD waterfall), taunt will prevent pseudo hazers like Skarmory, Swampert and hp electric-less Vaporeon\Suicune from roaring you out as well as protecting you from random status inducers.

3) consider quick attack in Scizor's last move slot, it's useful to hit Jolteon\Infernape and can finish off a weakened Zapdos\Gyarados since all of these pokemons resist BP.

Good luck!

This thread is being locked under rule 3:

Rule 3 said:
3. Have some actual words in your post beyond your six Pokemon and their moves. Not following this makes your post quite boring to read and rate. All Pokemon should have a good reason for being in your team anyway, so why not post that reason? If you are having trouble with this one, start by giving an explanation for each team member. Why are they there? What role do they serve? How do you get them in? Then, give an explanation of how you would open with the team and how you would go about using it. All of these things help people rate your team and allow us to offer more helpful advice.

This does not mean add one sentence saying "Standard x" or "all-around awesome" after each Pokemon. If you put thought into making the team, you can put thought into posting it.

If you fix the descriptions properly, PM me the changes and I'll unlock your thread.
