Ive been trying to make a cool team using umbreons trapping abilities. I thought a really cool idea was too mean look/baton pass into a wall, that then increases its attack like mad. It hasnt been to succesful and I need some suggestions for pokemon to Increase the win rate! Thanks, in advance.

Heatran, A.K.A - Dr.Tran @ Choice Scarf
Timid
Flash Fire
252 SpA, 252 Speed, 6 Hp

Fire Blast
Earth Power
Explosion
Stealth Rock

My lead/revenge killer, quickly sets up stealth rock and then switches to a counter, comes back in late game for some quick kills!

Umbreon @ Chople Berry
Calm
Synchronize
252 Hp, 80 SpD, 178 speed

Mean Look
Baton Pass
Wish
*Protect/Taunt* Not sure which one to choose...

The Star of my team! Passes mean look to my walls, and they do their thing! Also supports the team using wish, I bred for a while to get almost max ivs on this thing!

Gliscor @ ???
Impish
Hyper Cutter
232 Hp, 112 Atk, 120 Speed, 48 Def

Swords Dance
Roost
Ice Fang
Earthquake/Rock Polish

Gliscor is confusing me lately, and Im deciding between Using the salac berry and two moves, or the yache berry and only one, I would love some advice, if I use 3 swords dances, Is that enough to do some easy ohkoing with ice fang? Or do I need earthquake for a little more coverage. He works good with my gives evs, a combination of defense and offense. He gets a meanlook from umbreon, and can set up with ease, the only problem is criticals.

Celebi @ Life Orb
Timid
Natural Cure
150 Hp, 200 Speed, 160 SpA

Grass Knot
Recover
Calm Mind
*Phsycic/Earth Power* Another decision...

My 2nd Sweeper wall! This time a special wall, different then gliscor in the fact that this wall gets bulkier while getting stronger! Not sure between phsycic and earth power, I dont want to get walled by heatran, But then I could power up my own heatran...

I need help with the other 2 pokemon, and the pokemon shown above! I am thinking I want a good water type, suicune? Thanks for everyone that will help! ill be on this thread for a while, so we can talk, thanks! :toast:

I suggest using a Flame Orb moveset for lategame sweeping when its counters are already weakened, but the Scarf version is slightly more desirable due to Heracross's low Speed stat, as well as if you want to use it long-term for breaking walls instead of sweeping.

Just a word of warning that at this point Heracross and Weavile can rip most of this team to shreads if Gliscor falls. Machamp could ruin you too. The problem I foresee you facing here is that: 1) Umbreon will be worn down, and two of the biggest threats to Umbreon also threaten much of your team, 2) phazing and forced switching will ruin setups.

I'd suggest getting a Rotom or some form of ghost on your team to absorb fighting attacks that threaten Umbreon. I like Rotom-H for its ability to ward off most fighting threats. Scizor also does okay whilst being able to boost himself.

Tough to do a rate with an unfinished team, but I suggest you look at the Strategydex to check for move and EV spread options.

This thread is being locked under rule 3:

Rule 3 said:
3. Have some actual words in your post beyond your six Pokemon and their moves. Not following this makes your post quite boring to read and rate. All Pokemon should have a good reason for being in your team anyway, so why not post that reason? If you are having trouble with this one, start by giving an explanation for each team member. Why are they there? What role do they serve? How do you get them in? Then, give an explanation of how you would open with the team and how you would go about using it. All of these things help people rate your team and allow us to offer more helpful advice.

This does not mean add one sentence saying "Standard x" or "all-around awesome" after each Pokemon. If you put thought into making the team, you can put thought into posting it.

If you fix the descriptions properly, PM me the changes and I'll unlock your thread.
