ou wifi battle team

ok this is a wifi battling team that can be prety versitile (however you spell that). it can seem to be pretty weak to some later game sweepers but overall it usually will get the job done.

first of all, the lead

aerodactyl @ focus sash
evs: 252 att 252 speed
jolly nature
ability: pressure
taunt
rock slide
earthquake
stealth rocks

this is my lead. it is able to set up stealth rocks, possibly prevent the opponent from doing the same, and can hurt some other leads. it will sometimes have problems with jirachi though. i will usually set up the rocks and just let aero go down in that case.

next is- jolteon @ choice specs
evs: 252 sp att 252 speed
timid nature
ability: volt absorb
baton pass
thunderbolt
shadow ball
thunderwave, toxic, or hidden power ice

hidden power is the most preferable, but as i am too lazy to breed, toxic or thunderwave will do. this is my main sp attacker and can pack a big punch with specs. baton pass is to see what a switch will be and make my switch accordingly. thunderwave will cripple any fast sweeper, but they will rarely switch into jolt and i will end up thunderwaving a bulky ground instead. so i have chosen toxic as it gives jolt a chance against blissey and many bulky grounds.

gyarados @ life orb
evs: 252 att 252 speed
adamant nature
ability: intimidate
dragon dance
waterfall
stone edge
earthquake

this is my main sweeper and can pack a big hit on almost any pokemon. i use waterfall most of the time as it is his most powerfull attack and gets stab. he makes a good combo with jolteon as jolt takes the electrical attacks for extra healing and gyrados absorbs and quakes coming at jolt. stone edge takes out opposing gyarados and salamence, even ohko with (maybe without) rocks and intimidate even with out a dragon dance. intimidate also helps soften physical hits.

the fourth is my wall
skarmory @ leftovers
evs: 252 hp ~80 att 176 def
impish nature
ability: keen eye
spikes
whirlwind
roost
drill peck

this is my wall. he can take out many phisical threats including physical salamence, metagross, and tyranitar. he also acts as my phaser. he can take 2 electivire thunderpunches and survive to whirlwind him away, useful if i mispredict with jolteons thunderbolt. he is a great spiker in the game, and is a great qhysical wall. although i am considering switching in donphan as he can spin and take out dragons and hit a bit harder.

my clean up sweeper and ass saver
heracross @ choice scarf
evs: 252 att 252 speed
adamant nature
ability: guts
megahorn
close combat
stone edge
persuit

this is a great pokemon to have. he has saved my game several times. he is able to outspeed many pokes and give them massive damage. i usually use mega horn in the early game as it is as powerful as colse combat against many pokes, harder to resist and predict against, and doesnt lower my defenses. close combat hurts and can kill almost any pokemon switching in in the late game, as long as they dont have an immunity. guts can help heracross act as a status absorber and can help completely destroy a team. persuit catches most psycics as they try to flee the beast, and still packs a punch if they don't switch.

last is...
gengar@ focus sash or maybe life orb
evs: 252 sp att 252 speed
timid nature
ability: levitate
shadow ball
thunderbolt
focus blast
destiny bond

this is a great pokemon to have on almost any team. imune to normal, fighting, and ground attacks and absorbs lead fake outs and rapid spin. shadow ball and focus blast hit every pokemon for at least neutral damage and thunderbolt is for extra power and coverage. this set can also take out a gyrados with many dragon dances, although it uses focus sash, which is better tahn losing my whole team. destiny bond is a great move. after i survive an attack with focus sash such as said gyrados, i will destiny bond the next pokemon that comes out and take them out as well. it is a great move overall.

this team is made of most somewhat frail sweepers that hit fast and hard. they all pack a big punch and help eachother out a bit. the biggest problem with them is when other pokes get a speed boost and are then faster than any of my pokes. the same is with scizor using swords dance and bullet punch. so i have thought about replacing gengar with zapdos possibly, although that adds to my rock weakness. so any help would be great.

Pretty good.

I'd run Stone Edge > Rock Slide on Aerodactyl so you can have a stronger STAB attack to work with. At least you'd be able to inflict a little more damage that way, and I know your immediate approach is to set up SR and switch out right after, but that's fine as long as you get it up. Jolteon could handle Swampert and Tyranitar maybe a little better if you run HP Grass instead of Ice, although you won't have great coverage over Dragons anymore. Mainly just depends on what's more of a threat to you in that situation.

The great coverage that Ground / Water / Ice provides will prove to be useful, so on Gyarados run Ice Fang > Stone Edge, and this makes it more vulnerable to one of Gyara's main counters, Zapdos, but most of them will assume you're running Stone Edge or will be in mid-late game anyways, so no big worries there. You'll be hitting Mence harder that way too. On Skarmory, throw a Shed Shell on him so you won't have to worry about being revenge killed my Magnezone.

Heracross looks fine but going Jolly over Adamant is a worthy mention since you'll be able to outspeed Jolly Gyarados after one DD. Gengar is basically similiar to Jolteon offensively, so I think that's a bit redundant. Since you stated that you were Scizor weak, how about a MixApe over Gengar's current spot. Run Flamethrower / Close Combat / Nasty Plot / Hidden Power Ice, along with 24 Atk / 252 SpA / 232 Spe EV's. Although Infernape has fragile defenses, he resists Bullet Punch and can OHKO Scizor with Flamethrower.

ok on my aero i choose rock slide because of the accuracy. the flinch rate is nice too. also on aero, its suicide. i will probly only switch out when theres something faster than him if i dont have rocks up yet, or if theres a fake out lead.

the jolt doesnt have any hidden power on it yet as im too lazy to breed (its on diamond not shoddy) the skarmory is fine with leftovers in my mind. i have almost never seen magnezones and they dont bother me.

and yes i have thought about using infernape on my team instead of gengar. i have swept teams with mixape, so it has seemed like a fine idea. and with gyrados, ice fang might be a decent idea, i will have to try it out.
