pal park help

My game seems to freeze everytime i try to catch my pkmn from palpark. it was working fine for the past week up until now.is there anything that anyone may know to help me without restarting my game?
 
it's a result of the pokemon not transfering correctly and ending up as a Bad Egg. Unfortunately I don't know anything that can help you other than restarting or somehow trying to overwrite the pokemon that were there.


edit: did it have any ribbons it shouldn't of had? or have a name it shouldn't have? etc etc?
 
I've seen a few people complain about this problem and i've also heard that problems like this arise when you try to transfer too many of the same Pokemon. By 'the same Pokemon' I mean cloned ones, not just say, 5 different Pikachus.

So basically were you trying to transfer a lot of the exact same cloned Pokemon when it did this?

EDIT: Forgot to say that doing 6 of the same species will work, as I have transfered 6 Dittos at once, all different (non-cloned).

Ouch, yeah, this makes sense.

Can you give the exact circumstances of the transfer? Are you transferring lots of clones this time, have you transferred the same clone before, etc? I'm planning on transferring more Dittos that I've cloned and transferred at a prior time. If anything fucks up there, I'll post it in this thread.
 
I haven't transferred over more than one cloned Pokemon often, but did yesterday when I sent over two Celebi. Though this was from my US Emerald to Japan LG to Japan Diamond, since I haven't finished US Pearl yet.

I wonder if trading them to another game pak helped via being regenerated into the other game.
 
I have numerously transferred 6 Celebis, all cloned, all equal and they work perfectly
 
6 cloned pokemon shouldn't cause the game any issues at all -- the game calls them by their temp / space ID# and not by their pokemon ID#.
