Overview
########
+decent bulk
+good utility learnset
+many resists
+good ability
+spore

-typing also gives it many weaknesses
-low speed
-fairly weak
-typing gives it sr weakness, 4x weak to birdspam

Utility
########
name: Utility
move 1: Spore
move 2: Bullet Seed / Knock Off
move 3: Synthesis
move 4: Aromatherapy
ability: Dry Skin
item: Eviolite
evs: 76 HP / 36 Atk / 236 Def / 156 SpD
nature: Impish

Moves
========
-spore lets you effectively remove one of the opponents pokemon from the match
-knock off lets you cripple opposing walls
-bullet seed can be useful instead of knock off due to the nature of damage rolls in lc
-synthesis lets you stay healthy throughout the match
-aromatherapy can be used to cure teammates (and itself) of status

Set Details
========
-hp evs let you hit a number indivisible by 4 so you can switch into stealth rock four times without dying
-defense is maximized on this set in order for paras to check fighting types better, also hit an eviolite number
-spdef evs give you an eviolite number and more all-around bulk
-the remaining evs go into attack and let it hit a little harder
-dry skin is used to give paras an immunity to water-type attacks like scald

Usage Tips
========
-try to switch in on the many types of attacks that paras resists, like ground and and grass
-timburr can be annoying since it actually benefits from an effect spore status, but can't switch in unless spore has been used
-grass types that are immune to spore can switch in on paras easily, keep this in mind
-due to dry skin, paras can switch in on water-type attacks like scald

Team Options
========
-pokemon that appreciate solid switchins to fighting types like pawniard appreciate paras's support
-resists to fire and flying, like archen and chinchou, are appreciated, since paras is 4x weak to both types
-houndour is a good teammate due to having good typing synergy with paras and being able to absorb fire-type attacks aimed at paras with flash fire, as well as beating grass-types that want to switch into spore. they do share a weakness to rock however.
-teammates that can remove hazards, like vullaby and drilbur, as useful to keep paras from being forced to recover frequently

Other Options
########
-swords dance is an option, since it has a good physical moveset
-stun spore is also an option for speed control
-x-scissor can be useful to hit grass types immune to spore
-leech seed can be helpful to wear down the opponent
-brick break can be used to hit pawniard and houndour trying to switch into paras
-agility is an option to remedy paras' low speed
-effect spore can be used over dry skin, but it is often too situational and luck-based, and can even on occasion be detrimental due to an opponent you wanted to spore getting burnt or paralyzed instead

Checks & Counters
########
**flying types**: flying types like fletchling and archen can easily beat paras since they can hit it with 4x super effective stab moves
**fire types**: fire types, such as ponyta and larvesta have 4x super effective stab moves that can hit paras for big damage. houndour can be particularly annoying due to switching easily into spore with early bird.
**grass types**: they are immune to spore and leech seed, while many like foongus have a secondary stab that hits paras hard
**vullaby**: vullaby either resists or is immune to everything paras can do to it
**poison types**: paras can't do much of anything versus poison-types, and they can threaten it out with their stab.

I HAD THIS NEARLY WRITTEN UP AND THEN MY COMPUTER DECIDED TO RESTART AND I LOST ALL MY PROGRESS ;___________________________________;

Overview:
Weaknesses: Bug, Fire, Flying, Ice, Poison, Rock
Resistances: Electric, Fighting, Grass, Ground, Water
(don't include this, just showing its crazy amount of weaknesses/resists)

Instead of specific examples like "resists fighting" state that paras' typing is a mixed bag, coming with so many resistances and weaknesses.
Add access to spore.

Utility:
Bullet Seed needs to be slash somewhere imo. I'd put it with Knock Off. Leech Seed should be moved to OO as well.
Dry Skin needs to be at least slashed or put as the main ability. Effect Spore relies on luck and the opponent using contact moves. Dry Skin provides immunity to Scald burns and another potential source for recovery. Being even weaker to Fire-type moves doesn't matter at all.

Moves: Talk about Bullet Seed; make sure to remove Leech Seed mentions.

Set Details: Talk about Dry Skin.

Usage Tips: Get rid of that last point lol.

For Usage Tips and Set Details remove mentions of Effect Spore if you do choose to make Dry Skin the only slash.

Team Options:
Hazard removal support.
Houndour is a cool teammate. Paras resists 3/4 of its weaknesses and with Flash Fire, Houndour gets a boost from Fire-moves aimed at Paras, while also beating Grass-types. They do share a Rock weakness though.

Other Options:
Leech Seed
Brick Break for Pawniard and to a lesser extent Houndour.
Stun Spore

Checks & Counters:
Formatting for this needs to be **Check/Counter**: why they are
Vullaby needs its own section. Resists or is immune to everything including Spore.
Mention Houndour having Early Bird in Fire-types.
Give Trubbish a section because it easily walls everything Paras has.

Nice job QC 1/4!

implemented thanks

I would go as far as relegating Effect Spore to Other Options. Effect Spore is too situational and luck-based to be considered over Dry Skin, and it can even be detrimental in some instances, paralyzing or burning a for you wanted to put to sleep.

Add Water-type attacks to the line in usage tips where you mention what Paras is able to switch in on.

Add Agility to Other Options.

I personally believe that Bullet Seed should be slashed first in front of Knock Off. Knock Off isn't exactly weak, but having it as your only attacking move when you don't have STAB on it is kinda bad. It's useful sure, but any Pokemon who are only useful for being a meat shield and doing small amounts of damage typically aren't worth the slot. Bronzor is a prime example of that, Knock Off weakness nonwithstanding. Paras already has plenty of support options on its set, so I think it could do well with Bullet Seed over Knock Off.

In Set Details, where you mention the purpose of the HP EVs, it's slightly incorrect. The odd HP stat isn't what lets Paras switch in 4 times, it's the fact that it has between 20 and 24 HP non-inclusive, which are HP numbers that divide evenly by 4. Paras could have an even 22 HP and still be able to switch into SR 4 times. To fix this, say instead "hp evs let you hit an HP number indivisible by 4 so you can switch into stealth rock four times without dying"

In Checks and Counters, expand Trubbish to Poison-types in general. Also, make sure Vullaby is on its own line.
