With a good offensive typing and access to Swords Dance and Sucker Punch, Pawniard is one of the best wallbreakers and sweepers in the metagame. Swords Dance boosts Pawniard's Attack letting it easily break past walls such as Mareanie and Ferroseed. Knock Off is a spammable STAB move which removes items like the valuable Eviolite from walls. Iron Head is a secondary STAB move which hits Fairy-types like Clefairy and Togetic for super effective damage, and hits other Knock off resists such as Machoke and Galarian Linoone for neutral damage. Sucker Punch provides Pawniard with a priority move to deal with faster threats like Haunter and Drakloak and lets it easily finish off weakened Pokemon, although it must be wary of Will-O-Wisp from Haunter. Alternatively, Substitute can be used to block status moves enabling it to setup easier, especially when behind Aurora Veil.

Pawniard should primarily use Knock Off in the early game to remove Eviolite and cripple the defensive utility of common switch-ins like Machoke. Due to its below average defenses, Pawniard should only switch into resisted attacks or attacks from passive Pokemon such as Gloom, Galarian Corsola, Roselia and Clefairy; the first two have the potential to raise Pawniard's Attack from their Strength Sap thanks to Defiant, making them even more vulnerable to Pawniard. Fighting-type resists such as Gloom, Mareanie, Clefairy, and Togetic make for solid partners as they cover for Pawniard's crippling weakness. Clefairy and Togetic also make for good clerics which aids in Pawniard's setup attempts. Mareanie, Carkol and Palpitoad cover for Pawniard's Fire-type weakness, whilst Ground-resists and immunities like Thwackey and Dartrix are also appreciated. Slow pivots like Charjabug and Klang help bring in Pawniard safely, with the former also helping with Pawniard's middling Speed in the form of Sticky Web. Pawniard also appreciates entry hazard support to help it clean games, so Toxic Spike users such as Roselia and Mareanie, Spikers such as Carkol, and Ferroseed, and Stealth Rock users such as Piloswine, Galarian Corsola, and Palpitoad all make for good teammates.

Due to its ability Defiant dissuading the use of Defog, as well as a solid matchup against both Hattrem and Natu, Pawniard makes for a very reliable Stealth Rock user. Knock Off is a solid STAB move which removes items, most notably Eviolite. Iron Head allows Pawniard to deal significant damage to Fairy-types as well as do more damage to neutral targets which have already had their item removed like Machoke, Fraxure, and Carkol. Sucker Punch allows Pawniard to get around its mediocre speed and to deal damage to faster threats like Raboot and Torracat.

Pawniard should try to setup Stealth Rock by using its solid offensive typing to force Pokemon such as Drakloak, Galarian Corsola and Togetic out. Knock Off should be primarily used in the early game to weaken the defenses of opposing Pokemon, and to scare out the Magic Bounce users of the tier so that Pawniard can reliably set its entry hazard. Pawniard's role compression pairs well with other entry hazard users such as Mareanie, Roselia, and Ferroseed as these all benefit from Pawniard's ability to dissuade Defog. Ghost-types like Haunter and Galarian Corsola are good teammates as they are solid spinblockers and help Pawniard keep entry hazards up. Fighting-type wallbreakers such as Machoke and Galarian Farfetch'd also appreciate Pawniard's ability to deal with Psychic-, Ghost- and Fairy-types and access to Stealth Rock.

With a good offensive typing and access to Swords Dance, Pawniard is one of the best wallbreakers and sweepers in the metagame. Swords Dance boosts Pawniard's Attack by two stages letting it easily break past walls such as Mareanie and Ferroseed. Knock Off is a spammable STAB move which removes items from opposing Pokemon. you don't need to explain what the move in itself does just mention how it is used and what it hits. Iron Head is a secondary STAB move which hits Fairy-types like Clefairy and Togetic for super effective damage, and hits other Knock off resists such as Machoke and Galarian Linoone for neutral damage. Sucker Punch provides Pawniard with a priority move to deal with faster threats like Haunter and Drakloak and lets it easily finish off weakened Pokemon mention how it needs to be wary of wow from Haunter. Alternatively, Substitute can be used to block status moves as well as punish switch-ins. idk if that is so relevant, i'd rather you mention how it helps to set up

With a good offensive typing and access to Swords Dance and Sucker Punch, Pawniard is one of the best wallbreakers and sweepers in the metagame (You mention it as a wallbreaker/sweeper, so SP ought to be mentioned as thats its method of sweeping, not its natural speed usually). Knock Off is a spammable STAB move which removes items from opposing Pokemon like the valuable Eviolite from walls. (this sentence felt like it was way to obvious / missing something, so adding this makes it more personal to NFE) Iron Head is a secondary STAB move which hits Fairy-types like Clefairy and Togetic for super effective damage, and hits other Knock off resists such as Machoke and Galarian Linoone for neutral damage.
