Pelipper, courtesy of its ability Drizzle, is a mainstay on rain teams. Summoning rain allows Pelipper to enable dangerous wallbreakers such as Ash-Greninja, Mega Swampert, and Manaphy. Pelipper's physical bulk, solid defensive typing, and access to Scald allow it to check dangerous Pokemon such as Mega Lopunny, Landorus-T, and Mega Scizor. Pelipper also is able to support its team rather well as a Defogger courtesy of Roost to remain healthy. U-turn allows Pelipper to pivot safely into its powerful teammates, which is incredibly important, as they generally do not want to take chip damage. Unfortunately, Pelipper is the only entry hazard removal that Zapdos rain teams have access to, meaning it often has to take Stealth Rock damage before using Defog. This can cut into its longevity, as Pelipper can be exploited on the turns it is using Roost by strong special attackers such as Tapu Koko, Tapu Lele, and Magearna.

The ability to summon rain with Drizzle is incredibly important, as it enables several powerful walbreakers such as Mega Swampert, Ash-Greninja, Manaphy, and Zapdos. Mega Swampert is a particularly potent teammate, as not only is it enabled by Pelipper's Drizzle, but it is also a great check to strong Electric-type attackers such as Tapu Koko, Magnezone, and Zeraora. Ferrothorn is also a great teammate, as it can switch into Tapu Lele, Tapu Koko, and Magearna, all of which threaten Pelipper out. Rain also weakens Fire-type attacks, which Ferrothorn greatly appreciates. Ferrothorn can also use this as an opportunity to set Spikes for its teammates.

Hurricane may seem more appealing than Scald, as it hits bulky Grass-type Pokemon like Tangrowth and Mega Venusaur that commonly annoy rain teams. However, losing the ability to punish switch-ins with potential burns from Scald can be detrimental.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Electric-types and Electric-type Attacks**: Pelipper's quadruple weakness to Electric can be exploited by strong Electric-type attackers such as Tapu Koko, Magnezone, and Zeraora. Volt Switch users are also problematic, so Pelipper should be wary of Magearna, Rotom-W, and Zapdos.

**Strong Special Attackers**: Due to Pelipper's poor special bulk, it is often forced out by strong special attackers such as Magearna, Tapu Lele, Ash-Greninja, and Serperior.

**Changing the Weather**: Mega Charizard Y and Tyranitar can remove Pelipper's rain, which is a huge detriment to Pelipper's team. Although Tyranitar cannot switch into Pelipper for fear of a Scald burn, Pelipper cannot switch into Tyranitar either.

Thanks to Pelipper's low base Speed, it can use U-turn to switch in its frailer teammates unharmed.

Hurricane may seem more appealing than Scald, as it hits bulky Grass-type Pokemon like Tangrowth and Mega Venusaur that commonly annoy rain teams. However, losing the ability to punish switch-ins with potential burns from Scald can be detrimental. Knock Off threatens switchins like Zapdos and Magearna by removing their items, but again, Pelipper struggles to fit it in over the listed moves. A Relaxed nature with a 0 Speed IV can be used to get an even slower U-turn, moving second against Blissey and Chansey, and set rain against Hippowdon, but Pelipper will be slower than Clefable, which can carry Thunder, and Tangrowth.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Electric-types and Electric-type attacks**: Pelipper's quadruple weakness to Electric can be exploited by strong as all Electric-types threaten it Electric-type attackers, such as Tapu Koko, Magnezone, and Zeraora. Volt Switch users are also problematic, so Pelipper should be wary of Magearna, Rotom-W, and Zapdos The Zapdos sets in QC don't include Volt Switch. Pelipper's teammates, Mega Swampert and Ferrothorn, can help shore up this weakness. See below

**Strong Special attackers**: Due to Pelipper's poor special bulk, it is often forced out by strong special attackers, such as Magearna, Tapu Lele, Ash-Greninja, and Serperior. This makes Ferrothorn a particularly helpful partner, as it can switch into all of these special attackers for Pelipper. You don't have to mention what teammates do for Pelipper here, that is better in the second paragraph of the set comments.

**Removing Rain**: Add a point here about Pelipper losing to Mega Charizard Y and Tyranitar one-on-one, which is also problematic for Mega Swampert and Zapdos which rely on rain to function.

Pelipper's physical bulk and access to Scald allow it to check dangerous Pokemon such as Mega Lopunny, Landorus-T, and Mega Scizor it's worth mentioning its typing here since that plays a huge role in its ability to check those Pokemon if not the main reason why it can check them. Pelipper also is able to support its team rather well courtesy of Defog and Roost to remain healthy no mention about U-turn here, please add that because it's such an important move to its niche as a rain setter. Unfortunately, Pelipper is the only entry hazard removal that rain teams have access to, meaning it often has to take Stealth Rock damage before using Defog. This can cut into it's longevity, as Pelipper can be exploited on the turns it is using Roost by strong special attackers, such as Tapu Koko, Tapu Lele, and Magearna.

Good work!

Unfortunately, Pelipper is the only entry hazard removal that rain teams have access to, meaning it often has to take Stealth Rock damage before using Defog.

I wouldn't say this is technically true as rain can still run Corviknight to improve its Kyurem matchup and the like, I'd rephrase this to say that its the only Defogger on Zapdos rain teams, which is the overall best version.

Hurricane may seem more appealing than Scald, as it hits bulky Grass-type Pokemon like Tangrowth and Mega Venusaur that commonly annoy rain teams. However, losing the ability to punish switch-ins with potential burns from Scald can be detrimental.

This is up to you but you could mention Specs here, its very fringe though so this is a judgement call on you. If you do emphasize that its a decent breaker on its own but handicaps rain elsewhere.

Checks and Counters

Add other weather changers here, especially since Pelipper can't switch into Tyranitar.

Rest looks good, QC 2/2
