Do you care about you team you used to beat the game with?

It's still my ingame team. As I don't plan to fight anyone with them, why not? I've got every HM except for Cut with me aswell (Bibarel lvl 23 is with me, he has never won or gained any exp, but he served as cannon fodder in the E4) I've only EV-trained one of them, because it was a modest gengar ( 255/255 YEA).

It's actually quite a loaded question; you sound like a complete and total D-Bag for altering a "friend" 's cart without his permission, and even if you had his permission- you obviously didn't specify that you'd delete his pokemon.

Seriously, it's his digital property and property is 9/10ths of the law >_>; you have no right to ascertain the value of his pokemon. That's like taking away a poor couple's child "because of the 'fact' " that they are growing up in a environment less conducive to success than a wealthy couple's child would.

I'll stop here, it's rather arrogant that you need a forum's consent to be an asshole.

My competitive Dialga and the Dialga i beat the elite 4 with are one and the same, but the rest can go burn in hell. It's too hard to EV/IV train properly that early in the game.

That being said, if you took my copy of diamond and altered it without my permission, i'd dip a fork in some sterno and jab it into your eye socket.

It doesn't matter what they are, people can spend weeks making a good team, and if someone takes it away, they are gonna be pissed even if they are just a bunch of pixels and numbers.

A waste of a week is gonna make anyone mad, wheter its their precious team or their project etc.

I did have permission, but I thought that they were unimportant, you know, like a Calm Blaziken with horrible EV's and IVs really mean anything to someone, but hey if I'm wrong, I'm wrong.

lol

Yeah, but it's just a game

I didn't say that I was being a A-hole, but just asking what you thought about the subject, but if that how you think of it, thats your opinion

True, but to me one week is nothing to me seeing as how long it takes to actually train a pokemon correctly, like 2 or three. But I guess when you start breeding, low IV/nature pokes don't matter anymore...

Personally, I don't care about what I use to beat the game with if they have bad IVs/Nature/etc., but it was wrong of you to have deleted his Pokemon, seemingly with no remorse.

The basis is, he might've had a Jolly 29/31/24/24/29/31 Weavile or summit in there.

Imagine the effort taken for each stage to get it JUST right.

And if that is taken, things will happen. I know it did when some asshole stole my Kingdra.

Thats the thing, I didn't know that they mattered, but I did appoligize(sp) after I knew how much they meant to him.

lol, naw, I cheked the EV's b4 I deleted them, and I missused the cloning glitch, thats how they died.

But your Kingdra was IV/EV trained wasn't it?

Please could a mod just close this utterly retarded thread?

I hardly think trying to justify being a thoughtless asshole is going to promote any discussion short of pointless.

No one uses their bad IV ingame beating pokes, but it would be cool to have like a 31/31/31/31/31/31 starter calm piplup and EV train it throughout the game lol

I already said, this isnt a disscusion about what I did, but rather what you guys think about your ingame teams

...If I took your game cartrige, and released your hm slave lvl 20 Bibreal, your telling me you would be mad?

After I discovered my starter Impish (lol) Piplup is 20+ at everythinf except Attack, I decided to keep the rest of my ingame team (I didn't used any "HM slaves"). I can't check their IVs (lol Effort Berries), but I believe the others have IVs as good as my starter.

About your friend, seriously, you should just keep them there. The boxes can storage 540 pokémon, why would six occupied slots matter? Or you could just save their .pkm data (if you use Pokesav).

I wouldn't want you to take my game - 'nuff said

I do care about my ingame team, I have good memorys with them - such as beating the elite four. (No feat I agree) but I feel my performance was lacking but I was still fainting pokémon left, right and center

Lucky :P You didn't use any HM slaves? What was you ingame team?

True, very true, but that did strike me, as I thought they were unimportant.

When I got Battle Revolution I just threw in my in-game teams on to Battle Passes to try them. Managed to realize some interesting strategies that my Hall of Fame buggers could pull off, so used the information towards training future teams.

I always like picking new Pokemon every time I go through the story mode too, so it's fun to be able to try new things this way.

I care about my in-game team since they've got that touch of sentimental value to them. They're usually the only Pokémon I ever bother to nickname and all in all, probably the only team I ever spend a long time using collectively. For the most part, I find other Pokémon to be a 'grind' - breeding for good IVs, EV training or simply collecting and evolving to fill up the Dex. I find my in-game team to be the only set of Pokémon that I really just sit-back and enjoy (of course obviously, I enjoy my grinded Pokémon once they're "finished").

I could care less about the douchebags I beat the game with. Most of the poke's that I use (complete 1st and 2nd generation), I have to wait to beat the game to obtain anyway. So yes, burn in hell infernape.

I'm just going to rehash an argument from the "hax v. legit battlers" thread: if time :: money, time investment :: money investment. Two weeks of working hard at being a pokemon master, etc could have easily been spent on two weeks of pulling a full time job (or, if your friend plays between breaks or after a job, a second, part time job); in essence, he used his time not for making money but for making his game better. You've more or less cut out the time (hours/days I assume) he's invested in the game (or, as many AR fans would claim, "wasted") in a singular move of deleting his party.

Additionally, assuming your friend isn't a 1337 breeder who shoots for 31's across the board, a week raising an entire "battling" party to level 60 for someone who isn't principally a hardcore pokefanatic like a majority of smogon users are is a really big fucking deal (ignoring time investment; when you first got RBY and had your team of Charizard, Venusaur, Blastoise, Mewtwo, Snorlax, and <insert sentimental filler pokemon here>, you felt awesome that they were all at lv. 100 even though you probably used the Missingno glitch to rare candy them to 100- don't worry, we all did it).

You were a douchebag and I don't think asking the internet for advice or calling for /b/lackup on your d-baggery makes you any less so. Offer some advice or non-hacked good stuff (or good parents/dittos) to help replace your friend's team or try and trade for stuff here to replace it. Or just call him a pussy for whining over a video game he spends too much time playing, who gives a shit?

I love my starters, i migrated them all to my pearl and still have them, i don't know why but i just feel attached to them.

^ Random question, I see this number sometimes, 1337, whats significant about it? I know it has to do with IVs, but I can't connect it.
