Vaporeon @ Leftovers
Bold Nature
w/ Water Absorb

128 HP / 252 Def / 128 Spe

Substitute
Baton Pass
Wish
Surf

Helps the team recover. Gengar will be needing a lot of healing due to one of its main strategies (Curse). Vaporeon can also heal up any walls I will be using to stall out Gengar's other strategy (Perish Song). After 1 Round of Curse/Perish Song (ie. 1 Pokemon is down) Vaporeon can also switch back in to pass a Substitute to Gengar for a 2nd Round of Curse/Perish Song.

Umbreon @ Leftovers
Careful Nature
w/ Synchronize

252 HP / 92 SpD / 164 Spe

Mean Look
Wish
Baton Pass
Payback

Umbreon helps Gengar by passing an already immobilized opponent. This allows Gengar to save 1 turn and get out of there as soon as possible before taking too much damage. Umbreon is a tank so it can also switch in to relieve the team with some healing. Umbreon is a little slow, so Payback can make for a large amount of damage. Also, if an opponent fears a Mean Look and switches out, the base power doubles. (Handy if I have already used the Mean Look + Baton Pass combo but have not yet revealed that Umbreon is running Payback).

Gliscor @ Leftovers
Impish Nature
w/ Sand Veil

252 HP / 40 Def / 216 Spe

Substitute
Baton Pass
Roost
U-Turn

The Curse/Perish Staller. Once Gengar has fired off a Curse/Perish Song + Mean Look/Hypnosis and the opponent is locked in, Gliscor switches in to stall until the pokemon faints from Curse damage, or Perish Song. Leftovers and Roost allows it to heal itself and stall longer. Once I am ready for another round of Curse/Perish Song, I can pass a Substitute to Gengar or Vaporeon (if I need other healing done). U-Turn allows it some synergy with Flygon/Scizor should I need their sweeping abilities. I chose U-Turn as it allows Gliscor to help out with some damage on a difficult opponent.

Gengar @ Focus Sash
Timid Nature
w/ Levitate

252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spe

Hypnosis
Mean Look
Perish Song
Curse

The main attacker. Not your run-of-the-mill Gengar. Packing Perish Song and Curse allows it to KO pokemon so long as I can stall until they faint. Mean Look keeps them in play so I can selectively choose which pokemon I want to faint. This allows me to clear the opponent of any pokemon Flygon/Scizor cannot handle should I decide to sweep with them. Hypnosis makes everything go easier for Gengar. If I am lucky enough to get this off and Gengar is able to pull off a Curse/Perish Song without getting damage, it will save me time as I do not have to Wish Gengar back to full HP before attempting another round of Curse/Perish Song.

Scizor @ Life Orb
Adamant Nature
w/ Technician

252 HP / 64 SpD / 192 Spe

Pursuit
U-Turn
Bullet Punch
Brick Break

The revenge killer / scouter. Takes care of any weakened pokes that have already taken substantial damage from Curse. Bullet Punch gives it the priority attack that allows the revenge kill. Pursuit for those that try to run. Brick Break for breaking down a team that attempts to stall with Reflect/Screen. Finally, U-Turn gives it great synergy with Flygon should the match-up be unfavourable. Scizor and Flygon cover each other's weaknesses brilliantly.

Flygon @ Life Orb
Jolly Nature
w/ Levitate

4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe

Earthquake
Outrage
Fire Blast
U-Turn

Another scouter / physical sweep. Good for type coverage as it can switch in to Scizor's common counters. U-Turn gives it great synergy with Scizor should the match-up be unfavourable. Scizor and Flygon cover each other's weaknesses brilliantly.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Let me know what you guys think. Concept team. Does the strategy work? What should I change? I know that Vaporeon / Umbreon / Gliscor only have 1 offensive move each, which may make it difficult to viably sweep should the Gengar strategy not work out. Any and all constructive criticism is welcome.

Thanks in Advance!
