VGC team by an average natdex enjoyer
Ok, so i'm not good at VGC and I don't want to be good. But I had loads of fun teambuilding and the fun is what matters.
Too lazy to write much on every mon, I'll just give a brief overview of the team. It functions as perish trap, with flutter mane and cyclizar as leads, then I shed tail into goth and do a perish song. I could just lead goth and mane, but the sub staying up is optimal and if it does, fake out and mane's twave almost guarantees it staying, then protect and switch mane out while you knock out two mons in one go, without taking too much damage on gothitelle, and keep an attacker in the back slot if things get dire. If your opponent's team seems like a problem to this strat, then cyclizar+ 3 offensive pokemon is a measure you can take, I honestly think cyclizar is underrated, it just needs a high skill cap or is prediction reliant.
Flutter mane:
This thing perish songs, then it twaves and hexes for support. Flutter mane also uses pain split for recovery and is mainly support. It needs to be a lead to be functional, and once it takes two down, it will song again and put the game on a timer.
Cyclizar:
Shed tail spam, works well when we bring out mane and goth, and even with the 3 attacker setup. Protect is for longevity, u turn for pivot and draco meteor for last ditch damage. Shed tail is the only good thing about it, and we don't want this to rack up damage, as regenerator only provides help after shed tailing.
Gothitelle:
Shadow tagging allows goth to function as the star of the perish song strat, and it has protect for stalling time. It also has fake out to save it's substitute and keep the timer going. Helping hand is supporting the one offensive mon on the perish strat.
Gholdengo:
I usually use this on the offense 4 mons strat and on the perish strat because it has access to trick. This can isolate threats with the specs lock, basically permanent encore. We also have power gem, dazzling gleam and make it rain for the offensive side.
Bundle:
Speed control for offensive 4 mons is a great role for this delibird clone. A glass cannon, it can knock out opponents quickly or icy wind to do the speed control thing. Protect is to make it scout movesets and predict.
Ape:
Drain punch for recovery and rage fist for raw damage make a deadly combo once ape has the requirements. Bulk up is for setup, and protect is for protecting. The berry is strange, but since I can't run two sitruses or two lefties, it will have to stay.
ok bye
