ORAS UU Personal UU Team!

What's up guys?

And welcome to my first RMT as a smogon member! It is an UU Team, created around my favourite Pokemon, Aerodactyl, which is the reason why my nickname is jurassicscream. The rest of my Team's members are named after my favourite Musicians. I would like to thank you in advance for watching and rating!

Mega-Aerodactyl
jurassicscream (Aerodactyl) @ Aerodactylite
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 40 HP / 252 Atk / 216 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Hone Claws
- Stone Edge
- Aqua Tail
- Aerial Ace

The star of my team and mostly lategame-sweeper. After Mega-Evolving, it outspeeds everything unscarfed and even some scarfed pokemon such as Absol and Chandelure. Plus, it outspeeds MBeedrill.
Max Attack is set, the rest is for some HP bulk. Hone Claws is a boosting move on a predicted switch, after which Aerodctyl can sweep since stone edge and Aqua Tail won't miss. Aerial Ace is a second STAB and against Chesnaught, which would wall this set.

Gligar
Dexter (Gligar) @ Eviolite
Ability: Hyper Cutter
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Roost
- Defog

The Offspring's singer Dexter Holland came to my team as another Eviolite Wall against many fighting types such as Lucario, Mienshao and Heracross. It can remove hazards with defog and set the own rocks up on the following turn. Roost is obviously for recovery, EQ the only attack. Thanks to dodmen for this suggestion!

Porygon2
M83 (Porygon2) @ Eviolite
Ability: Trace
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Bold Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Beam
- Recover
- Toxic

Porygon2, named after my favourite elecrtro band M83, is a good allround tank due to eviolite. Trace makes switching in a lot easier, for example in Flygon's EQ or Gligar's Toxic. It uses Toxic for itself to cripple walls. Recover is obvious, while the attacking moves are BoltBeam which still hit pretty hard.

Umbreon
Travis (Umbreon) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Synchronize
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Foul Play
- Wish
- Protect
- Heal Bell

The brilliant punk drummer Travis Barker is my shiny Umbreon, which walls almost every special hit thanks to the EV spread. The moveset is pretty much standart, wish+protect for extra recovery or to heal the fellow pokemon, while heal bell is important since it removes toxic from Porygon2 and burn from Aerodactyl. It can also switch into Toxic from Blissey or Florges to cause a poison on them and then heal it.

Entei
Brian (Entei) @ Choice Band
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Sacred Fire
- Extreme Speed
- Stone Edge
- Flare Blitz

Brian Fallon, singer of "The Gaslight Anthem", is straight power! Choice bands makes nothing want to switch into any of its moves. Sacred fire as a spammable STAB move which can cripple physical attackers by burning them. In the lategame, i prefer to use flare blitz for more power and accuracy. Stone edge is for predicted switches into other fire types such as Darmanitan, Ninetales and Flareon, while Extreme Speed is perfect for revenge killing.

Suicune
Romy (Suicune) @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
- Calm Mind
- Scald
- Rest
- Sleep Talk

Suicune, called after the lead singer of "The xx", is another wall and status absorber. The set is pretty much standart, RestTalk+CM and Scald which can also cripple physical attackers. Thanks to dodmen for the suggestion!

That's pretty much it, thanks for looking at my team and i hope we can improve it together!

Really like your team dude, Mega Aerodactyl is probably the best Pokemon in the tier right now and your team makes full use of that. There's just a couple things I would change.

First of all, for a balanced team, it seems really weak to Fighting. I know you've got Nidoqueen, but it's prone to getting worn down easily, and with those moves, you won't even be able to KO some Fighting-types in UU (Heracross). What I'd recommend is using Gligar over Nidoqueen as your Stealth Rock setter, as it will give you a more much reliable Fighting check with access to recovery in Roost. I would run Defog on Gligar as well in order to free up your last slot, as AV Blastoise isn't a good set in this game and you're better off using something else in that slot.

Gligar @ Eviolite
Ability: Hyper Cutter
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Roost
- Defog

This Gligar set will give you a much more solid answer to the likes of Heracross, Lucario, and Mienshao.

Now that you've got your hazard clearing taken care of, I want to suggest Calm Mind Suicune in your last slot over AV Blastoise. It gives you a MUCH bulkier Fire resist and also a win condition against bulkier teams that Aero won't be able to break through. You can opt for the standard Crocune, which runs Rest/Sleep Talk/Scald/Calm Mind with maximum investment in physical defense, or you can opt for slightly different sets such as RestTalk + Roar if you feel comfortable with it.

Finally, I would run Roost over Stone Edge or Aqua Tail on Mega Aerodactyl. It will let Aerodactyl stick around much longer and make it less reliant on receiving Wishes from Umbreon. Personally I would just replace it for Stone Edge since I love to hit bulky Grounds with Aqua Tail, and plus most of the coverage provided by Stone Edge is taken care of by the combination of Aqua Tail + Aerial Ace. If you would rather replace Aqua Tail to keep your strongest STAB, that would probably work just as well. I wouldn't replace Aerial Ace though, in case a Fighting-type like SD Heracross manages to break through Gligar.

Hope my suggestions helped, and good luck with this team in the future!

Thanks for your reply, you made some good suggestions! Gligar seems a really good alternative since it can defog and set up rocks on the following turn. But isn't immunity the better ability so it cannot be poisoned? It is a wall so I guess that makes more sense.
I actually like Aero as it is, i even sometimes miss EQ on it. And since it is so frail, roost isn't such a good move for it I guess. I will probably only be able to use roost on a switch, where I normally use hone claws.
Thanks again for your comment!

Immunity is definitely better, but unfortunately it's illegal with Defog. Glad I could help!
