So I haven't posted a team on here in a while, main reason being I took a huge break after Gen 5 was released, and only just recently came back. I came back with a sand team since that wasmy bread and butter in Gen 4, but I decided I wanted to stay away from weather teams and saw a Roserade set in te OU analysis Discusion and saw the below Roserade wet and wanted to build a team around her. Anyway, here is the team.

Roserade (F) @ Life Orb
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 24 HP / 252 SAtk / 232 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Sleep Powder
- Leaf Storm
- Sludge Bomb

This is the Roserade I wanted to build my team around. Ive seen quite a few bulky calm Roserade running around, but after seeing this set on here, I really wanted to use it, and decided to build around it. Roserade serves many purposes on this team, like a status absorber, a Grass pokemon with a nice powerful STAB Leaf Storm and STAB Sludge Bomb, Sludge Bomb doesn't provide the best Super effective coverage by any means, but it is a nice STAB move anyway. I decided on Sleep Powder over Rest, but Ive been back and forth on that, I just currently feel Sleep Powder may be a bit more helpful as far as the team is concerned.

Heatran (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Flash Fire
EVs: 248 HP / 252 SDef / 8 Spd
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Toxic
- Stealth Rock
- Lava Plume
- Roar

Calm Heatran is an absolute beast. I wanted to add a Fire Pokemon to the team so I could have a solid Grass/Fire/Water core, which is always nice to have for team synergy. Heatran also serves other team purposes though, he's my stable Stealth Rocker, and he's been a great phaser thus far for the team, he's helped me stop Special Attackers from setting up on me and helping me spread Toxic around and get extra Stealth Rock damage on stuff. He can also help wither other bulky Pokemon down with toxic, Pokemon that would otherwise give me team a problem if not for the toxic.

Starmie @ Leftovers
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 24 Def / 8 SAtk / 224 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Rapid Spin
- Recover
- Scald
- Ice Beam

Starmie has always been one of my favorite Pokemon ever since Gen 1 was released. I've always really liked Starmie's huge move pool and its ability to be a nice rapid spinner, and the fact that Starmie gets a recovery move is nice as well. I have Scald to try and inflict burn on Pokemon and while I do lose a bit of power from not using Surf/Hydro Pump, the burn possiblity ends up being the best thing for the team usually. I also decided on Ice Beam to keep Dragons, Gliscor, Grass Pokemon ect in check.

Scizor (F) @ Choice Band
Trait: Technician
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Bullet Punch
- Pursuit
- Superpower
- U-turn

A picture o Scizor should be in the dictionary for the word Standard, because nothing screams standard like a Scizor, especially the Banded Variety. There is no reson not to use it though, he does everything a team could want, he has a great powerful STAB priority move, he can trap Psychic and Ghost pokemon with Pursuit, as well as other pokemon who you just want to inflict some easy damage on. Superpower is strong fighting Pokemon to keep the likes of Blissey, Snorlax, Chansey, Steels and other stuff in check. U-Turn is the ultimate scout move, it really makes the set as we all know.

Dragonite (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Multiscale
EVs: 252 HP / 44 Atk / 212 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Fire Punch
- Dragon Dance
- Dragon Claw
- Roost

Dragonite has ALWAYS been my favorite Pokemon and I try to use it whenever I can. I've always prefered Dragonite's Bulk over other Dragons Higher Speed, but 5th Gen giving him Multiscale was amazing for him. I dont like facing Dragonite, but using him is great, and I wanted to further abuse Multiscale by adding extra Bulk to him, while still being a really good sweeper. Since Starmie does such a goodjob at Spinning Entry hazards, he usually comesin at Full Health so I can abuse Multiscale. Setting up under Multiscale is so easy to do, that even given the bulk he has, a Single DD late in the game can be the end for any unprepared opponent.

Terrakion @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Justified
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Close Combat
- X-Scissor
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge

Terrakion is one of the most powerful Pokemon that the game has to offer, so why not use him? He has such good attack that you can really do whatever you want with him. I decided to throw a scarf on him because he's such a good revenge killer and it added some much needed speed to my team that I felt I needed. He really helps against the Extremely bulky stuff such ass Chansey/Blissey, Ferrothorn, Jirachi, Heatran ect. I also decided on X-Scissor for an option to hit grass pokemon hard, especially Celebi. Many times an opponent will fear you setting up on them with Terrakion they just leave whoever they have in to make sure you don't, leaving you with a free revenge kill.

Hi

Very nice team. I like the synergy between your defensive core and Scarf Terrakion. However, I feel like offensive rain teams could mean quite a lot of trouble. It could be very difficult to switch in the likes of Rotom-W and Starmie who can basically OHKO half of your team with Hydro Pump and deal with the rest with their coverage moves (Roserade is actually 2HKOed by both of their Hydro Pumps, Dragonite won't like Starmie's Ice Beam and your own Starmie will take a ton of damage from electric moves) which is why you should perhaps consider switching your Roserade for a Ferrothorn. While I know you built this team around Roserade, I think Ferrothorn could actually help it a lot more. It's very good at checking most members of a rain team and can set up Spikes on them, which is very helpful for Dragonite which is significantly weaker with Dragon Claw than Outrage while also being able to pummel them with Power Whip. I think that this team will be very solid with the addition of Ferrothorn.

Ferrothorn @ Leftovers
Sassy
Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 92 Def / 164 SpD
-Power Whip
-Gyro Ball
-Spikes
-Leech Seed

Good luck!
