Introduction

From the abyss of gen 7, Rose a dangerous beast called stall, constantly making people quit Pokemon Showdown just because it was so powerful, and so annoying. It could beat anything and made battles average over 200 turns, and y'know who to blame, TOXAPEX!!!!!!!!!


The Team

Toxapex is the main focus of the team, Being able to switch into many physical and special attackers while threatining them with scald and toxic. Its ability regenerator is great for stall teams, allowing it to constantly pivot in and out while staying healthy, Haze allows toxapex to stop setup sweepers such as non psychium Z Volcarona, Mega Scizor, Kartana and Kommo-o.

Tyranitar @ Assault Vest
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 224 HP / 32 Atk / 252 SpD
Careful Nature

Tyranitar is able to pursuit many pokemon that this team would have a hard time against, such as mega alakazam, Blacephalon and Victini, With Assault Vest this things special bulk is absurd, Allowing it to survive attacks such as a +1, 252+ SpA Mega Alakazam Focus Blast 87.5% Of the time and a Z focus Blast from Tapu Lele, Its typing allows it to switch into Mega Charizard Y and Heatran and threaten them with Earthquake and Rock Slide and respectively.

Chansey is the stealth rocker for this team, It is able to switch into tons of attacks and do good damage with seismic toss or spread poison on High HP targets and ghost types, It has reliable recovery and is able to shrug off status by just switching out, Its typing has only one weakness, Which means it is able to reliably wall many pokemon.

Tangrowth is our secondary regenerator user, able to cripple pokemon with knock off and largley damage threats such as landorus-T and Tapu Bulu. It can punish pokemon that like to spam U-Turn with rocky helmet and absorb lots of physical attacks, which this team would normally have a hard time taking, It has a good matchup against pokemon such as Non Flyinium Z Landorus-T, Tapu Bulu, And even Toxapex by switching in Toxapex and switching back in Tangrowth.

Clefable is my cleric and unaware user, It is able to switch into dangerous sweepers such as Thundurus-T, Kommo-o and Mega Gyarados. Its fairy typing is great giving it resistances to types this team struggles against and an important immunity to dragon, It is able to cure its teamates of status which otherwise would beat my entire team.

Mega Scizor packs a great defensive typing and stats, Most notably its 140 defense, allowing it to have a good matchup against lead Landorus-T and Azelf due to priority bullet punch, which also helps this team get past bulky fairy types such as clefable. U-Turn allows even a stall team to get up momentum and respond to threats the enemy send out accordingly while getting good chip, Roost is to ensure scizor stays alive and be able to beat threats such as Non Flyinium Z Landorus-T and Mega Mawile.

Conclusion

And as people tried to constantly slay this beast, It just kept on adapting, They threw everything at it and the beast threw everything back, It was so powerful that it didn't even need a brain, Yeah thats right, It was just a fricking WALL!!!!
