Phazestall Team

I decided to make a new team and here it is.

Infernape (M) @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Iron Fist
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Close Combat
- ThunderPunch
- Fire Punch
- U-turn

Needed a good lead for the team, and since I didn't have many speedy attackers I decided to go with Infernape. With Iron Fist, Infernape can even outspeed and KO Landorus with Fire Punch and other bulky threats. Infernape really hates hazards, but Xatu does a good job of taking care of that by having a attack that can take out some of the most popular hazard layers (Ferrothorn, Forretress, Skarmory) Even though it's probably not going to be around long, it will still make a pretty big impact before it faints.

Chansey (F) @ Eviolite
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Wish
- Heal Bell
- Seismic Toss
- Protect

Classic Cleric Chansey. If one of my important Pokemon is damaged badly, I can use Wish; and I'll also won't have to worry about hazard-switchin damage because of Xatu. Heal Bell is also very useful in this case as statuses can sometimes hurt my team.
Chansey is also really great at outstalling Pokemon, and has the huge SP.Def to take care of the teams problem with more specially based Pokemon.

Swampert (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Torrent
EVs: 240 HP / 16 Atk / 252 Def
Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Stealth Rock
- Scald
- Earthquake
- Roar

Swampert is pretty much my answer to ground, electric, ice, and rock types which can pose a big threat to this team. Stealth Rock is here just for added damage to the opponent. Roar is also a interesting move to stop setup sweepers from destroying my team. Swampert is also decently bulky, and is able to deal with the triple ice weakness, and is immune to electric types which could cause problems for Skarmory / Xatu from doing their jobs.

Xatu (M) @ Light Clay
Trait: Magic Bounce
EVs: 252 HP / 72 Def / 184 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Reflect
- Light Screen
- Heat Wave
- Roost

Xatu pretty much holds the entire team together. With Magic Bounce AND Heat Wave, Ferrothorn, Forretress and Scizor will be running away. Light Screen and Reflect really help the team out alot, although Xatu can have a problem without Leftovers recovery. With dual screens up, Swampert, Chansey, and Skarmory become total nightmares for pokemon who are not able to KO them. Xatu also has really good psynergy with Chansey, having a 4x resistance to fighting types. Even though it does have a 4x fighting resistance, it still has to look out for stone edge from Pokemon like Mienshao and Heracross. It's also pretty vunerable to Terrakion

Flygon (F) @ Choice Band
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Fire Punch
- Outrage
- U-turn

Flygon was another one of my answers to super speedy Pokemon. Although it's not the fastest thing in the world, it has enough speed to get the job I need it to get done. With almost no attacks that will be hitting super effective (on standar sets, anyway) Flygon will be having Terrakion running.

In addition, with Earthquake, and Outrage stab, it's not surprise why this Pokemon can pose such a big threat.

Skarmory (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 232 SDef / 24 Spd
Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- Brave Bird
- Whirlwind
- Roost
- Spikes

Skarmory is another great Pokemon on the team. Not only is it neutral to ice, and fighting, but it's also resistant against grass and psychic types which can cause trouble for ol' Swampert and Infernape. It's a pretty standard Spikes / Whirlwind set, which can rack up damage incredibly fast. Brave Bird helps Skarmory have at least some sort of attacking move, which can be really helpful against the likes of Breloom.

Hello Owen, nice team.

This is an excellent stall team you have here, using a Choice Scarf user to gain momentum, setting up hazards and using phazing moves such as Whirlwind and Roar in order to wear down the opposing team and sweep late game with Flygon. There are some flaws I see with this team and hopefully my rate can help iron out those flaws. With all that said let's get to the rate. First up, I would like to suggest using an EV spread of 108 Atk / 148 SpA / 252 Spe and a Hasty Nature over your current EV spread and nature. The aftermantioned EV spread balances out Infernapes Attack and Speciall attack, allowing it to hit hard on both sides of the spectrum. Now, on Infernapes moveset, I would like to suggest using Hidden Power Ice over Thunderpunch, as it allows you to OHKO threats such as Gliscor, Landorus, Choice Scarf Salamence and other dragon types. Moving forward, I would like to recommend using a Special Defensive Heatran in place of your current Swampert. Special Defensive Heatran is an excellent fit for this team, because it works decently with Chansey as she provides vital Wish support for him to stay deeper into the game. That's all I have to say for now. I hope my advice helped. Have fun and good luck in your future endeavours!

Hey, thanks for rating my team!

I tried out your suggestions, and for the most part they work out great, except for the specially defensive Heatran. It adds another Ground, Water, and Fighting weakness which it's not good to have too many common ones floating around.

After some playing around with it, I think Dusclops may help the team out a bit, but I'm not sure I should replace Swampert.

Dusclops (M) @ Eviolite
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 176 Def / 80 SDef
Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Pain Split
- Will-O-Wisp
- Payback
- Night Shade

If you want a spinblocker, which sounds like a good idea, I would recommend Jellicent. Jellicent has reliable recovery, and could maintain some of Swampert's function as a bulky water. It does add another electric weakness, but you should be able to handle that between Flygon and Chansey. This is the set:

Jellicent (M) @ leftovers
Trait: Water Absorb
EVs: 248 HP / 216 Def / 44 Spe
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
-Scald/Surf
-Will-O-Wisp/Toxic
-Recover
-Taunt

Scald and Will-O-Wisp are a little redundant, so either use Scald and Toxic or Surf and WoW. 44 Spe is standard to outspeed Scizor; you can add a few more to speed creep other Jellicent if you want to.

Hello Owen and lol I love you're avatar!
So anyway really nice spikestacking team you have here, I realy like the use of pokemon like Flygon and Swampert, but anyway there is always room for improvement and im here to help you. So the first thing is that Xatu realy doesn't benefit your team at all, screens really doesn't do anything as you're having a really good defensive core in Chansey and Skarmory, therefore I will suggest that you should use utility Jellicent over Xatu as Jellicent can prevent Rapid Spin and also helps you with the Keldeo weakness your team has, it also help you out with your weakness to Choice Band Terrakion, and can burn with Scald or Toxic switch-ins like Politoed.

Changes:
Jellicent --> Xatu
