[SET COMMENTS]
Pheromosa is a niche pick in AG thanks to its solid movepool and incredible speed, which lets it revenge kill a significant portion of the metagame. U-turn is Pheromosa's most spammable STAB move, allowing it to gain momentum by forcing out Pokemon like Zacian-C and Calyrex-S, while doing chip damage to most possible switch-ins to it, notably chipping Necrozma-DM for significant damage, impairing its ability to effectively check Zacian-C. Close Combat allows Pheromosa to OHKO Zacian-C after minimal chip, while also having a favorable roll to 2HKO Necrozma-DM, and OHKOing Ferrothorn. Triple Axel enables Pheromosa to OHKO defensive Zygarde and Specially defensive Eternatus after minimal chip, and OHKO offensive versions from full. In addition, it lets Pheromosa threaten common hyper offense leads like Slurpuff and Galvantula, bypassing their Focus Sashes to OHKO from full health. Throat Chop is chosen to let Pheromosa revenge kill Calyrex-S and slightly chipped Lunala. The Choice Band is chosen to maximize Pheromosa's damage output while also avoiding the recoil from Life Orb. The given EVs with a Jolly nature maximize Pheromosa's speed and firepower to let it reliably revenge kill Zacian-C and Calyrex-S.
Pheromosa fits best on balance teams that can help to mitigate its extreme frailty and take advantage of its ability to provide pivoting support coupled with speed control. Teammates that can reliably check Choice Scarf Kyogre, such as Eternatus and Kyurem-W, tend to work well alongside Pheromosa, as do slower Kyogre checks like Ferrothorn and Blissey. Ferrothorn synergizes well with Pheromosa thanks to its Spikes support chipping down Pheromosa's few potential switch-ins even faster, and punishing even a correct prediction with heavy chip damage. Blissey offers the alternative advantage of letting Pheromosa in more easily with Teleport, allowing it to generate extra momentum and chip damage with U-turn. Zacian-C is a great teammate for Pheromosa, as it can readily take advantage of Pheromosa's ability to heavily chip Necrozma-DM, and loves the pivoting support to allow it to come in freely on numerous passive Pokemon. Teammates that can take advantage of the momentum generated by Pheromosa, such as Reshiram, offensive Landorus-T, Kyogre, and Calyrex-S can also make great teammates, as they appreciate being able to come in more than they would otherwise be able to. Teammates that can provide pivoting support, such as Blissey, Yveltal, and defensive Landorus-T can also work well alongside Pheromosa, as they can help it to come in for free without having to take damage.

Other Options
=============
Heavy-Duty Boots can be used over Choice Band in order to give Pheromosa longevity at the cost of power. If this change is made, it can run Rapid Spin to provide a means of hazard control, although its extremely frailty means that it has few opportunities to use Rapid Spin, and it struggles to fit Rapid Spin as all four moves are extremely useful.
Checks and Counters
===================
**Priority**: Priority moves from Pokemon like Marshadow and Yveltal can pick off Pheromosa after minimal chip, allowing them to force it out easily and potentially gain momentum or get setup turns.
**Choice Scarf users**: As Pheromosa is only barely faster than unboosted Calyrex-S, it remains slower than most of the tier's common Choice Scarf Pokemon. As such, it is forced out easily by Choice Scarf users like Kyogre, Calyrex-S, Zacian, and Yveltal.
**Ho-Oh**: Ho-Oh reliably counters Pheromosa, as it can switch in to any of its attacks without being 2HKOed, force Pheromosa out with the threat of Sacred Fire, and regenerate any damage that Pheromosa did to it. The best way to manage Ho-Oh is through Knock Off support from teammates like Necrozma-DM and Yveltal combined with aggressively setting Stealth Rock whenever possible in order to wear Ho-Oh down.
