EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature

- Spikes
- Power Gem
- Stealth Rock / Sludge Wave

[SET COMMENTS]
This set runs Corrosion and bulk in order to have more long-term utility in balance and bulky team structures. With Corrosion, Toxic becomes one of Glimmet's most powerful tools to force progress, stopping it from being used as setup fodder and putting Steel- and Poison-type defensive pieces like Tinkatuff, Hisuian Sliggoo and Ivysaur on timers. Spikes is essential for long-term pressure and forcing progress against already poisoned Pokemon. Power Gem is necessary to OHKO Fletchinder and stop it from using Defog in front of Glimmet. Stealth Rock helps accrue more passive damage. Sludge Wave is also a viable option to soft-check Thwackey.

Despite running maximum physical bulk, Glimmet is still rather frail and requires defensive partners to handle common attackers like Monferno, Raboot and Pignite more than once. Dusclops and RestTalk Drakloak are both oppressive partners that blanket check most physical attackers and spinblock Quaxwell while healing off any chip damage from Flip Turn and entry hazards that could wear them down long-term. A defensive Water-type like Quaxwell or Seadra is essential to check Piloswine. Offensive threats that are walled by Steel-types like Girafarig, Hisuian Sliggoo, and Duosion all greatly appreciate the timer that Corrosion Toxic forces on their checks. Offensive Thwackey and Servine both take great advantage of Poison-types like Ivysaur and Koffing being affected by Toxic. If Glimmet is not running Stealth Rock, Tinkatuff and Krokorok both make for solid Stealth Rock setters that can wear down foes with Knock Off. Tinkatuff, alongside Hisuian Sliggoo, additionally acts as a reliable defensive check to Psychic-type sweepers like Girafarig and Duosion that Glimmet creates openings for. Piloswine can also reliably set Stealth Rock or use Choice Band to easily break through a badly poisoned Quaxwell.

- Stealth Rock / Sludge Wave I would actually slash Sludge Wave here, Glimmet doesn't necessarily need Stealth Rock as being one of the few viable Spikers is a valued niche. Glimmet can have another partner run Stealth Rock so it can focus on answering against Thwackey
- Spikes
- Toxic
- Power Gem / Sludge Wave

[SET COMMENTS]
This set runs Corrosion and bulk in order to have more long-term utility in slower balanced and bulky team structures. With Corrosion, Toxic becomes one of Glimmets most powerful tools to force progress, stopping it from being used as setup fodder and putting defensive pieces like Tinkatuff, Quaxwell and Hisuian Sliggoo on timers I'd emphasize more on how Corrosion + Toxic specifically bypasses Poisons/Steels, as most of them are defensive pieces in the meta and poisoning them like that is huge for breaking down slower builds. Replace Quaxwell mention with something like Koffing/Ivysaur. Spikes and Stealth Rock both help to accrue passive damage. Power Gem is usually preferred to OHKO Fletchinder, but Sludge Wave is also a viable option to soft-check Thwackey and deal more direct damage in general. Adjust sentences of Sludge Wave to compare to Stealth Rock

Despite running maximum physical bulk, Glimmet is still rather frail and requires defensive partners to handle common attackers like Monferno and Raboot more than once. Dusclops and RestTalk Drakloak are both very oppressive partners that can spinblock while healing off any chip damage that could wear them down long-term. A defensive Water-type like Quaxwell or Seadra are essential to check Piloswine. Offensive threats that are walled by Steel-types like Girafarig, Hisuian Sliggoo and Duosion all greatly appreciate the timer that Corrosion Toxic forces on their checks. If Glimmet isn't running Stealth Rock, mention a teammate with that move and what they can do to either cover Glimmet's weaknesses or provide their offensive/defensive prowess outside it

Dusclops and RestTalk Drakloak are both very oppressive partners that can spinblock while healing off any chip damage that could wear them down long-term. I do not know if I would emphasize a bit more the fact that these two mons check Quaxwell which is annoying because of Rapid Spin, as you mentioned, but also because it is a Water-type. A defensive Water-type like Quaxwell or Seadra are essential to check Piloswine and Frogadier probably. Offensive threats that are walled by Steel-types like Girafarig, Hisuian Sliggoo and Duosion all greatly appreciate the timer that Corrosion Toxic forces on their checks. Thwackey and Servine? takes great advantage of Poison-types like Ivysaur and Koffing being affected by Toxic. If Glimmet is not running Stealth Rock, Tinkatuff and Krokorok I would also include Pilo, which is the second best rocker, both make for solid setters that can wear down opponents with Knock Off. Girafarig is also annoying, so maybe these rockers that you mentioned (krok and tinka) can be valuable as well to check it.
