High Horsepower tramples on Mareanie (I think it’s good to mention that it’s a safer move with no drawback into koffing and opposing fires), an otherwise sturdy counter, while Sucker Punch strikes faster foes like Girafarig and Drakloak. Water-types like Quaxwell and Seadra can damper Pignite's breaking capabilities, so Grass-types like Thwackey and Ivysaur can mow them down with powerful STAB moves and absorbing their attacks. Faster foes like Girafarig and Frogadier can extinguish Pignite before it gets going; iron valiants like Tinkatuff and Hisuian Sliggoo are greatly appreciated to ward off their revenge killing attempts. Other walls like Gabite and Koffing (koffing really isn’t a super great counter, I would mention someone else) can put out Pignite's wildfire before it spreads, so special attackers like Choice Specs Drakloak and Girafarig can force them away. Offensive titans like Fraxure and Piloswine adore the Knock Off support Pignite spreads (if you need to make some room, I would couple this in the knock off section at the start of the write up where you mention knocking quax and koff)
