Ice Shard additionally lets it pick off weakened offensive threats like Servine, Drakloak, and Fraxure. High Horsepower can be used to avoid the power loss from Thwackey's Grassy Terrain; however, Stealth Rock can be used instead if the team lacks a user of it. Thick Fat should be used alongside High Horsepower, but Oblivious can be used alongside Stealth Rock to prevent Taunt from the likes of Misdreavus and Vigoroth. Piloswine is vulnerable to super effective attacks from offensive threats like Frogadier, Thwackey, and Raboot, making walls that can handle them like Quaxwell, Koffing, and Vullaby valuable partners. Additionally, Tinkatuff can remove the need for Piloswine to run Stealth Rock, switch into special attackers like Servine, and spread paralysis to make Piloswine an even deadlier wallbreaker.
