So now ladies and gentleman, boys and girls, children of all ages. The pkmntrainer17 proudly presents to you the greatest Rate My Team Thread in the world!!!!!!!! The Lead off Mixed Darkrai! The All Mighty One Arceus! The Uber Metagame!!!!!!!!!!!! Now lets get ready to rate it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

491.png

Darkrai @ Life Orb
Bad Dreams
Hasty
176 SpA / 176 Spe / 156 Atk
~ Dark Void
~ Focus Punch
~ Thunder
~ Dark Pulse

Darkrai is an awesome Pokemon. Focus Punch will put a hurting on Blissey, Tyranitar, Dialga, Heatran, and other Darkrai. Dark Void is the most useful sleep inducing move in the game next to Spore and it recks of awesomeness! Thunder is only going to be used on Kyogre and Ho-oh. Dark Pulse is for stab and hits just about every Pokemon. This set right here is all about prediction.

382.png

Kyogre @ Choice Scarf
Drizzle
Modest
252 SpA / 252 Spe / 6 HP
~ Water Spout
~ Ice Beam
~ Thunder
~ Surf

This Kyogre is such a monster it can 2HKO another Kyogre on the switch with Water Spout ( If HP is full. ) which will OHKO most Pokemon who don't resist it. Surf is here to make a wave when Kyogre's HP starts going down. Thunder will hit Lugia, Kyogre, and Palkia the most out of any of the moves here. Ice Beam is the most useful move in The Uber Metagame.

242.png

Blissey @ Leftovers
Natural Cure
Calm
252 SpD / 176 Def / 80 SpA
~ Softboiled
~ Calm Mind
~ Ice Beam
~ Thunder

Well it turns out The Nurse of Death is also the most dominant Special Wall in The Uber Metagame as it is in The Standard Metagame. Softboiled is a must on Blissey thats of course inless you are running Wish on Blissey. Calm Mind helps Blissey out a great deal when dealing with those massive Special Attackers such as Kyogre and Mewtwo. Ice Beam deals with Dragons and Thunder deals with those Water and Flying Type Pokemon.

Arceus.png

Arceus @ Insect Plate
Multitype
Timid
252 SpA / 176 Spe / 80 HP
~ Judgment
~ Recover
~ Calm Mind
~ Ice Beam

Arceus is an awesome Special Sweeper. Judgment will hit most of the Ubers in The Uber Metagame for Super Effective damage. Ice Beam will hit all those other Ubers such as Lugia, Groudon, Rayquaza, and Giratina. Calm Mind helps with the sweep. The reason why I have choosen Recover over Substitute is without leftovers recovery I only get to use Substitute a few times.

376.png

Metagross @ Choice Band
Clear Body
Adamant
210 HP / 160 SpD / 140 Atk
~ Bullet Punch
~ Meteor Mash
~ Pursuit
~ Earthquake

While it might seem odd to use Bullet Punch over Explosion it can be helpful at times some examples would be a Rampaging Life Orb Dragon Dancing Rayquaza thats ready to KO you or a Deoxys-FR chance at a sweep. Pursuit can be used on Psychic Pokemon switching out like a Choice Specs Mewtwo thats locked on Ice Beam / Grass Knot or any weaken Latias / Latios and all Deoxys-FR. Meteor Mash is for the great stab move that will deal great damage to most Pokemon in the Uber Metagame. And Earthquake is for Jirachi, Magnezone, Dialga, and Heatran and will also deal the most damage to Kyogre and Palkia on this set.

384.png

Rayquaza @ Life Orb
Air Lock
Adamant
252 Atk / 216 Spe / 32 HP / 6 SpD
~ Dragon Dance
~ Outrage
~ Earthquake
~ Overheat

This is the Pokemon that was a total outcast at the Pokemon Uber High School in the 3rd Gen and now its the ladies man that all the hot dragons want in 4th Gen this Pokemon is the reason a Steel Type is a must on Uber Teams. Dragon Dance combined with Life Orb makes the Emerald cover boy a very dangerous Pokemon. Earthquake is here to take out the Steel Pokemon and random things as well. Overheat is a must to take out Forretress and Skarmory. And Outrage is the best reason to use this Pokemon and will OHKO just about every Pokemon after a Dragon Dance.

Team check?
This is an evaluation of team.
  • Have a special wall? Blissey
  • Have a physical wall? Nope the best I have to come close to that is Metagross.
  • Have a special sweeper? Yeah Kyogre and Arceus
  • Have a physical sweeper? Yes sir Metagross and Rayquaza
  • Have resistances to Dragon, Ice, Electric, Psychic, Dark, Ghost, Bug, Fighting, Ground, Water, Fire, Steel and Rock? Most of the team has enough for most of the types above.
  • Have a Spinner? Nope I'm done there.
  • Have a phazer? Nope its not really a must seeing as I would only need to phaze a Ninjask and a Substitute Groudon.
  • Have a weather changer? Yeah Kyogre
  • Have a Spiker/Stealth Rocker? No these aren't really a must anyway.
  • Have a sleep talker? No, but I think I'm able to handle Darkrai with the proper prediction.
Threat List

Ubers
  • Mewtwo:Kyogre handles Mewtwo quite well if it only has Ice Beam and Metagross can come in on most of Mewtwo's moves.
  • Mew:To tell the truth Mew really has no counter this is the most unpredictable Pokemon.
  • Wobbuffet:Wobbuffet has no counter
  • Lugia:: Metagross can take on Lugia pretty well. Darkrai can sleep it and kept hitting it with Dark Pulse. Blissey is able to wall it.
  • Ho-oh:Kyogre will stop it in its tracks
  • Latios and Latias:Blissey walls them
  • Kyogre:Blissey can take it head on with Calm Mind.
  • Groudon:Kyogre will rape the Groundhog and Arceus it its not packing Stone Edge.
  • Rayquaza:Metagross can take it out Rayquaza's Outrage is deadly though.
  • Deoxys-A: Metagross takes it out
  • Deoxys-D: Metagross takes on the Taunt version. Blissey and Arceus can Calm Mind in its face they need to watch out for Toxic.
  • Palkia: Palkia really was no real counter.
  • Dialga:Blissey can take on the Special Verisons. Metagross can Earthquake it.
  • Giratina: Metagross takes it on if it doesn't have Will-O-Wisp. Arceus can Calm Mind in its face.
  • Manaphy: Blissey and Kyogre counter it.
  • Darkrai:Darkrai can Focus Punch it.
  • Arceus : Blissey can take on the Calm Mind Verisons. Darkrai with the proper prediction can Focus Punch the Normal Type. Rayquaza can handle the Physical Ghost.
Non ubers

  • Metagross: Kyogre can Surf / Water Spout it. Arceus can keep hitting it.
  • Blissey: Metagross takes it out.
  • Heatran: Kyogre destroys its source of power
  • Weavile: Metagross can Bullet Punch it.
  • Tyranitar: Kyogre changes the weather and hits it with Water moves. Darkrai can Focus Punch it.
  • Skarmory: Kyogre, Rayquaza, and Darkrai should take it out.
  • Forretress: Kyogre and Rayquaza.
  • Magnezone: Metagross will Earthquake it.
  • Ninjask: Metagross will Bullet Punch it and most of the sweepers will beat it down.
  • Heracross: Kyogre
  • Chlorophyllers: Kyogre changes the weather. Arceus can handle theam with Bug Judgment.
  • Shedinja: Metagross Pursuits it.
  • Swift Swimmers: Blissey handles Kingdra and Ludicolo. Darkrai can Thunder it.
  • Jirachi: Metagross Earthquakes it. Kyogre hits it with Stab Water moves. Arceus can Calm Mind on it as well as Blissey.
  • Bronzong: Metagross can Meteor Mash it to death. Kyogre can Water Spout it.
Now rate the team that lacks many things fellow members of the Smogon Dynasty.

Your "team check" isn't a very good idea, in my opinion. A counter list/threat list is more effective. I mean, you have 2 physical attackers but what if both of them can be walled?

Well I really don't know I would probally switch out! also Forretress walls Metagross I would bring in Rayquaza because I think that would be the turn Forretress would set up its Spikes / Stealth Rock. And now its down to prediction will Forretress switch out of Overheat or will I Dragon Dance and have it blow up on me. I'll add a threat list later on thanks for the tip on that.
