Basic sweeper. Lum Outrage combo is pretty strong. Don't really need scrappy, but thought i would put it on there, since well. Early Bird doesn't really serve a purpose to me.

Flareon @ Life Orb
Modest
Flash Fire

~Heat Wave
~Hidden Power Ground 65+
~Overheat/Shadow Ball
~Will o Wisp

Pretty basic. It cripples the opponent with Burn. Then takes em out. Heat Wave is better then Flamethrower imo, even with its less accuracy. HP Ground is for other fires and well ground threats. Perhaps shadow ball for ghosts, but i'm not sure yet.

Gengar @ Choice Specs
Timid
Levitate
6hp/252spatk/252speed
~Trick
~Ice Wind
~Shadow Ball
~Thunderbolt

This set is a little risky, but it depends all on Platinum. Trick over a specs if needed, or attack with Shadow Ball/Thunderbolt. Icy wind is for after the trick then you slow em down.

Just rate my team, I appreciate honest opinions. :)

Non STABed Outrage does Pathetic damage. You're better off with Return or a normal move and Leftovers with Scrappy, so you can hit Ghosts also.

Good set over here. IMO, Overheat over Shadow Ball, and maybe Specs over Orb?

Just switch Ice Wind to something like Focus Blast, because you need to hit as hard as possible since the opponent's Pokemon has a chance to KO you with Gengar's weak defenses.

Thanks for the suggestions. Yes Outrage wouldn't do as much as it would on a Dragon, but I still think it does a fair amount. And yeah I probably will go for Overheat. And on Gar, that is interesting. But I need the speed down for Flareon sometimes. She's pretty slow.

Well, you will have very limited chance to Ice Wind considering the opponent can KO you. But if it works for you, then keep it. I'm not too familiar with Pokemon Platinum/Pokemon Diamond/Pearl, the games on Nintendo DS. But, I can still help you with better movesets if you need it.

Thanks, yeah. I'm trying to come up with a good Wifi Team as well. So if you could help with that i would greatly appreciate it. ^^

Rule #15 said:
3. Have some actual words in your post beyond your six Pokemon and their moves. Not following this makes your post quite boring to read and rate. All Pokemon should have a good reason for being in your team anyway, so why not post that reason? If you're having trouble with this one, start by giving an explanation for each team member. Why are they there? What role do they serve? How do you get them in? Then, give an explanation of how you would open with the team and how you would go about using it. All of these things help people rate your team and allow us to offer more helpful advice.

This does not mean add one sentence saying "Standard x" or "all-around awesome" after each Pokemon. If you put thought into making the team, you can put thought into posting it.
Telling the effects of your attacks =/= descriptions.
