Please Help!

Whenever I try to download Java, dialogue comes up saying that it can't install, check your internet connection settings. I checked them, disabled my firewall, put all my security settings down to Low, and yet it still won't install!

I know this isn't actually a problem with Shoddy, but without Java all I get is a .jnlp file that doesn't do anything. I ask again, please help!

And I apologize if this doesn't seem deserving of it's own thread, but I've been lurking for ages because of this problem!
 
This sounds like some restriction set by the administrator on your computer or something. There's nothing we can do to help you install Java.
 
If you get an error code, go to the java site and type it into the search.

I googled the jnlp filetype, and I got a lot of information. Good Luck!
