I am new to competitive play and I'd like some advice and also, if you can suggest ways my team can be better or any changes, than that would be great. thanks.
TEAM:
Scizor-Mega @ Scizorite
Ability: Technician
Evs: 252 HP / 40 Atk / 216 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- Roost
- Swords dance
- U-Turn
He is pretty much my setup Pokemon. With a couple is sword dances, it can really do damage and I made him a little more defensive than offense so it can take hits and it can be tank sometimes
Greninja @ Expert Belt
Ability: Protean
Evs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd/ 4 HP
Timid Nature
- Extrasensory
- Dark Pulse
- Scald
- Ice Bean
My special attacker in my team. Just for some coverage and so out speed a lot of Pokemon like garchomp. And I didnt give it a life orb because I think expert belt is better in my opinion
Talonflame @ Sky Plate
Ablility: Gale Wings
Evs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd/ 4 HP
Jolly Nature
-Bulk up
-U-Turn
-Flare Blitz
-Brave Bird
I know it looks weird, but this set has actually helped me alot because I am able to out speed alot of talonflames and take them out since I'm jolly. I gave it a sky plate for extra damage , also, I can scout with it thanks to U-turn
Noivern @ Choice Scarf
Ablility: Infiltrator
Evs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd/ 4 SDef
Modest Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Flamethrower
- U-Turn
- Hurricane
This might be weird also but, I mainly use it for a scout when I don't know who to lead with and a hard hitter. I don't have a choice specs yet But it's been working fine with me and I dont have a timid noivern yet so that's why it's scarf
Rotom-W @ Chesto Berry
Ability: Levitate
248 HP / 28 SpA / 232 SpD
Modest Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Rest
- Volt Switch
- Will-O-Wisp
My special defensive wall. And with the chesto berry rest combo, it can be very good when it comes to walling and if I need to burn something.
Gliscor Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
244 HP / 248 Def / 16 Spe
Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- Toxic
- Ice Fang
- Protect
This is my defensive wall when it comes to offensive threats like talonflame (Since talonflame almost destroys my entire team) and for toxic stalling when I have limited options.
