Here's my team o: consisting of 3 special sweepers and 3 physical sweepers.
Starmie@ Expert belt
Ability: Illuminate
EVs: 252 sp att 252 speed 4 hp
Nature: Modest
- Psychic
- Surf
- Ice beam
- Thunderbolt
Debating if I should switch to timid starmie w/ lifeorb or not. I still run psychic to quickly get rid of conkeldurr, machamp and a few others as opposed to using the risky hydro pump :x
Boltbeam of course for coverage and stab surf cause i don't like to take chances.
Scizor @ Muscle band
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 HP 252 Att 4 HP
Nature: Adamant
- X Scissor
- Bullet punch
- Pursuit
- Swords dance
I have scizor here for his priority bullet punch and coverage on faster sweepers like starmie and latios and psychic trick room users. His resistances are also handy for dealing with sand teams too.
Gengar @ Focus sash
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 sp att 252 speed 4 hp
Nature: Timid
- Psychic
- Shadow ball
- Sucker punch
- Focus blast
I have this gengar here back up starmie basically and I threw sucker punch on him for those moments where sweepers hold a focus sash lol I don't expect it to do anything more than 1 damage xp. Probably will
switch psychic sooner or later. Shadow ball for strong stab and focus blast to cover some more.
Blaziken @ Leftovers
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 252 Att, 252 speed 4 HP
Nature: Adamant
- Hi Jump Kick
- Flare blitz
- Brave Bird
- Shadow claw
Now I know Blaziken without speedboost is considered UU but I find that blaziken is able to deal with alot of common OU threats with Hi jump kick / flare blitz such as blissey, tyranitar, ferrothorn, scizor, volcarona and
nearly every fighting type thanks to brave bird. Shadow claw for Jellicent other bulky psychic/ghosts.
Hydreigon @ Wise glasses
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SP att 252 Speed 4 HP
Nature: Timid
- Draco meteor
- Dark pulse
- Flamethrower
- Surf
I have hydreigon for some added special sweeping with dark pulse draco meteor for slower dragons like dragonite and haxorus. Flamethrower and surf due to lack of those types of moves on my team.
Dragonite @ Life orb
Ability: Inner focus
EVs: 252 att 252 speed 4 hp
Nature: Adamant
- Dragon dance
- Outrage
- Fire punch
- Earthquake (was fly)
Once i clear out ice/rock threats i usually use dragonite to just take care of the rest. Currently working on a multiscale extremespeed dragonite.
So that's my team :p I don't find myself having a problem with coverage but there are certain pokemon that can run through my team if given the chance. Should I add any walls or stall pokemon? Any feedback is very appreciated.
