I'm new to the forums, so this may be a mediocre post.. but that's ok.

Here's my Team:

Machamp @Lum Berry
Adamant, No Guard, EV's: 240 HP / 248 Atk / 16 SpD / 4 Spe
1. DynamicPunch
2. Ice Punch
3. Bullet Punch
4. Payback

Dynamicpunch is a given, ice punch is for gliscor and dragonite, you can't go wrong with bullet punch, and payback helps beat azelf.

Dragonite @ Life Orb
Rash, Inner Focus, EV's: 116 Atk / 200 SpA / 192 Spe
1. Superpower
2. Draco Meteor
3. Flamethrower
4. Thunderbolt

I may want to use dragonite as an attacking lead. Superpower OHKO's Blissey, heatran, and tyranitar. This dragonite functions as an amazing stallbreaker.

Tyranitar @ Choice Band
Sand Stream, Adamant, EV's: 180 HP / 252 Atk / 76 Spe
1. Stone Edge
2. Earthquake/Aqua Tail
3. Pursuit
4. Crunch

Typical Tyranitar, rips through teams.

Jirachi @ Leftovers
Serene Grace, Jolly, EV's: 164 HP / 168 Atk / 176 Spe
1. Iron Head
2. Thunder Wave
3. Substitute
4. Fire punch

Set up thunder wave, get in the substitute, proceed to anger.

Starmie @ Life Orb
Natural Cure, Timid, EV's: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
1. Rapid Spin
2. Hydro Pump
3. Ice Beam
4. Thunderbolt

You have to have a rapid spinner. You just have to. Starmie is perfect. That being said, I don't have a SRer or Spiker.

Magnezone @ Leftovers
Magnet Pull, Timid/Naive, EV's: 40 HP or Atk / 252 SpA / 216 Spe
1. HP Fire
2. Substitute/Explosion
3. Magnet Rise
4. Thunderbolt

HP fire is a must if you want a steel killer. Substitute provides protection. Magnet Rise gives it the upper hand on pokemon like metagross but explosion is invaluable. Thunderbolt gets STAB.

Strengths: Coverage, ability to rip through unexpecting teams

Weaknesses: Lack of speed/Defense, No stealth rock, spikes, or any entry hazards.

3. Have some actual words in your post beyond your six Pokemon and their moves. Not following this makes your post quite boring to read and rate. All Pokemon should have a good reason for being in your team anyway, so why not post that reason? If you are having trouble with this one, start by giving an explanation for each team member. Why are they there? What role do they serve? How do you get them in? Then, give an explanation of how you would open with the team and how you would go about using it. All of these things help people rate your team and allow us to offer more helpful advice.

This does not mean add one sentence saying "Standard x" or "all-around awesome" after each Pokemon. If you put thought into making the team, you can put thought into posting it.

Take a look at the RMT archive to see what kind of descriptions we are looking for. PM me the fixed descriptions and I'll unlock this thread.
