VGC Please rate my VGC 2015 team!

Hello everyone! I'm A Very Peaceful Bunny- long time lover of smogon, first time smogon forum user.
I've been getting very hyped for the 2015 VGC season, as it'll be my very first time competing formally. I'm in masters division, so I'm a little nervous, and I'm hoping somebody can reveiw this team I've put together, and I'm pretty pleased with. This team doesn't have a very solid gimick or super insane synergy, it's just a team assembled with some of my favorite pokemon who just happen to work together really well. So, without wasting anymore time (I'm sure a lot of you skipped this anyways) here's the team:

Diggersby @ Choice Scarf
diggersby_by_michaelogicalm-d76fsxc.jpg

4 HP/ 252 ATK/ 252 SPE
Adamant Nature
Ability- Huge Power
-Earthquake
-Return
-Wild Charge (this might get switched out)
-U-Turn
Diggersby tho? This meme has driven me crazy looking for good pictures on the internet, but there's a reason it came to be. I started using diggersby on a rabbit-themed team which included mega Lopunny (who I also like, but fake-out is way to obvious), and I've absolutely fallen in love with him. His stats aren't the best, but he usually hits first with choice scarf, and he hits HARD. The only move I have an issue with is Wild Charge, because it has recoil, and I'm not a fan of it, so it might get switched out.

Scizor Scizorite
Mega_Scizor-1-.png

248 HP/ 84 ATK/ 176 SPE
Impish Nature
Ability- Technician (I think)
-Swords Dance
-Roost
-Bullet Punch
-X-Scissor
I have to admit- among my friends I'm sort of the the "bug guy". Entomology has always been a little passion of mine, and I love all sorts of creepy crawlies (except cockroaches- ech!). Mega scizor is one of the few truly amazing bug types in this game, so I naturally have a soft spot for him. Now, I know that most people run knock off with this set, but I decided to run X-Scissor instead. I also know that it doesn't benefit from Technician, but my only other choice was Bug Bite, which me and my friend calculated, and it turned out that X-Scissor was stronger. I might consider putting Mega Beedrill in this slot, but there is a very important gimick with Mega Scizor and my next Pokemon...

Chandelure Choice Specs
250px-609Chandelure.png

160 HP/ 156 SPA/ 192 SPE
Modest Nature
Ability- Flash Fire
-Shadow Ball
-Flamethrower
-Taunt
-Energy Ball
Man oh man do I love Chandelure. His design is awesome, his concept is hilarious (and a little disturbing), and he's very powerful. Most importantly, he boasts the flash fire ability, which allows him to switch in on a (usually obvious) fire attack aimed at Scizor, and start wrecking with the nice little boost he receives. Not to mention that he can also switch in on fighting type attacks directed at Diggersby, or Scizor. This is a variable on a wallbreaker set which I will use to make sure my team can continuously wreck house without getting gum in their gears.

Gothitelle Leftovers
250px-576Gothitelle.png

248 HP/ 8 DEF/ 252 SPD
Sassy Nature
Ability- Shadow Tag
-Psyshock
-Calm Mind
-Protect
-Heal Bell
This is arguably one of the better Gothitelle sets out there, able to not only wall pretty well, but also sweep quite effectively. I generally like to have some support on my teams, so moves like heal bell help me out a lot. I'm still not sure if I wanna use rest, as it will put me to sleep for some time, but it seems safe enough, providing I'm fighting special attackers who can't switch out. For now, I'm sticking to protect.

Whimsicott Focus sash

250px-547Whimsicott.png

252 HP/ 4 SPA/ 252 SPE
Timid Nature
Ability- Chlorypyll... snicker- haha... I'm just kidding. It's Prankster
-Encore
-Taunt
-Protect
-Giga Drain
I always loved this little guy in B/W, and when I found out he was the ultimate anti- Fake-Out
destroyer of worlds that he's become, I was over joyed. He is the sole reason I stopped using mega Lopunny, as well as fake-out Ludicolo. Don't let his happy fluffiness fool you- he is a nightmare in the shape of a puff cloud of dreams. He's also fairy type, which allows him to soak up dark-type attacks that my team has issues with. The point here is when I see a potential fake-out, such as Mega Kanga, I send out him with my Gothitelle, double-protect, and encore the poor sap who dared to use fake-out...

Wigglytuff @Assault Vest
250px-040Wigglytuff.png

4 HP/ 188 DEF/ 236 SPA/ 12 SPD/ 68 SPE
Modest Nature
Ability- Competitive
-Flamethrower
-Thunderbolt
-Hyper Voice
-Dazzling Gleam
I'll admit- despite being a guy, I like pink. I like cute. I even like swirls. But most of all, I like power, and that is what this little guy right here brings. I originally used wigglytuff as a joke to throw people off, but he under performed. That is, until I found this excellent set on Nugget Bridge. Now, I bring the little puffball into almost every battle, ripping holes through the opposition whenever possible. Wigglytuff is really strong, surprisingly bulky, and downright terrifying when you give him a broom to sweep with. I love him.

Well, that's the team. Composed of some of my favorite mons, who all bring something unique to the table. But what do you think? Should I run Beedrill instead of Scizor? Do I have too many special attackers? Am I not bulky enough? Are there different sets I should consider? Please, let me know any of these and more. I can't wait to hear what people have to say. So, until later, bye for now!

I must say, I absolutely love your wigglytuff idea... Sounds like a slayer of common threats to me! I feel as if gothitelle, though, could be replaced with something more. Not quite sure what it is, but I personally (and maybe its just me) see it sticking out from your team in a negative way. Everything it covers is already covered by your other team members, and while shadow tag is nice and has its niche, I feel like its not worth the weight. Heal Bell comes in handy a lot... Have you considered Umbreon? I have used him on and off and have loved him since I was a wee boy playing the original Gen 3 games. He's nearly impossible to kill, gets Heal Bell, wish support, toxic, foul play, snarl, etc. He'd fill that spot nicely, but thats just my opinion.

You and me had the same idea. Gothitelle has been replaced with Wobbufett, which is Much stronger and more fun to use. I already have it all bred and trained, and I have more experience using it, so its a win win. Umbreon is really great, but its one more thing that needs to be bred (not a huge deal considering my 6 IV ditto), and I'm not sure I want a cleric on this rather fast paced team.

Your team looks like it was built with singles play in mind, as quite a few concepts you're currently using are more singles staples, as opposed to concepts oriented towards doubles play, for example, Impish Scizor, and Scarf Diggersby. I understand that you're trying to just build with your favourite pokemon, but as far as I'm aware, you're also trying to use it in serious competition, which it will most likely not do very well in. The main reasons are that the pokemon used are almost all outclassed in what they do, for instance, Scarf-Landorus is far better than Diggersby in theory and practice, and Sylveon and Gardevoir are much better options for a Fairy type than Wigglytuff, and Ludicolo is a much better Assault Vest option.

Also the above rate regarding Umbreon is a poor idea as toxic stall / dedicated Cleric roles have been shown time and time to fail in double battles, and will almost certainly give your opponent a much easier time. I recommend you check out the VGC subforum as well as other resources like NuggetBridge and even Oldman VGC (if you're more into the creative Japanese styles) to learn more about team building, as this team lacks proper 2 on 2 composition, and any sort of improvement would dramatically change it.

I see what you're saying, but I want you to know that I'm not just creating this team with my favorites just because they're my favorites. I studied smogon and nugget bridge a long time and brainstormed with fellow trainers before finishing this teak, and there have been quite a few modifications since I posted this. I understand there are some other options available, but thee is one thing this team has that others don't: surprise factor. When most people see this, they don't know what to do against it, often taunting wiggpytuff or using fake out with whsicott on the field.

Hey man I'm not too sure about Calm Mind and Heal Bell. I think Gothitelle could run Tickle and Psyshock instead of Psychic to take advantage of Tickle's defense drops. Really don't recommend it since you aren't using Trick Room. If it does get Helping Hand, use that.

You also wanna change X-scissor to Bug Bite as it lets you eat Lum Berry, Sitrus Berry, etc.., and gets the technician boost.
