I am just a casual battler who wants to become more competitive. The way I went about choosing my Pokemon was to pick my favorites. Then I just picked out the ones that really weren't getting the job done. After about a week of battling I cannot crack 1400 on the UU ladder. Well, here is the team:

jumpluff.png

Jumpluff (F) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 252 HP/4 Atk/252 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Stun Spore
- Sleep Powder
- U-turn
- Aromatherapy
--- I really like this lead and I wish more people would use it. I always go with Sleep Powder first and if it hits I will then use U-turn. Stun Spore is used when the Sleep Clause has been activated; I switch in, use Stun Spore, and then U-turn out to another Pokemon that might be able to set up on it. Lastly Aromatherapy is to heal the rest of the team. The EVs and nature are for maximum bulk and speed. Here is what I do against the top 5 most common leads:
Ambipom: I take the Fake Out and then the usual U-turn. The Pokemon that switches in will probably take a Sleep Powder to the face and I then use U-turn to get out.
Uxie: My main goal against Uxie is to stop it from setting up Stealth Rocks. I use Sleep Powder and then U-turn.
Mesprit: Mesprit does give me a bunch of trouble. I really do not know what to do. I usually take the Scarf and then use Sleep Powder. After that I out-speed every non-scarfed Pokemon in the tier.
Omastar: I have seen a ton of these lately. I use Sleep Powder as usual and then switch out to Mismagius to hopefully set up on it.
Qwilfish: I use Sleep Powder, U-turn, and then send in Uxie to set up Stealth Rocks and hopefully take it out with Psychic.

lickilicky.png

Lickilicky (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Own Tempo
EVs: 100 HP/252 Def/158 SDef
Careful nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- Counter
- Explosion
- Return
- Earthquake
--- Lickilicky is just an awesome Pokemon. I send it in on physical attackers, take a hit, and use Counter to take them out. After that hit I will usually explode. This is my main check to Arcanine and Rhyperior since it can take Flare Blitz or Earthquake respectively and KO back with Counter. Return is there for STAB and a strong attack. Earthquake is just there for coverage and to pick off weakened Pokemon. I do need a little help with the EVs. I just went for enough bulk to take physical hits while being able to take special hits. It is completely walled by levitating ghosts so I might switch Return for something else.

ambipom.png

Ambipom (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Technician
EVs: 6 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Brick Break
- Fake Out
- Return
- Shadow Claw
--- Ambipom is one of the best revenge killers in the entire tier. I also use it to lure out Rotom and Mismagius with Fake Out. They usually expect me to switch out or use U-turn,but instead they get KOed by Shadow Claw. Return is there for a very powerful STAB. Brick Break is there for coverage. Ambipom is pretty much my only Milotic check; I use Fake Out and then spam Return. The EVs are there for maximum speed and to shoot off strong attacks. All-in-all it is a pretty standard set.

uxie.png

Uxie @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP/4 Atk/252 Def
Impish nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Stealth Rock
- U-turn
- Thunder Wave
- Psychic
--- Uxie is my physical wall and it can take hits extremely well. It sets up Stealth Rocks and spreads around even more paralysis. Psychic is there to take out fighting types that will do next to nothing to it with fighting attacks; it is also there to to take out Weezing which can also be a real pain to my team with WoW. EVs are for maximum bulk in order to take all of those physical hits.

rhyperior.png

Rhyperior (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Solid Rock
EVs: 252 HP/252 Atk/6 SDef
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Substitute
- Stone Edge
- Ice Punch
--- This thing is an absolute beast. After Jumpluff and Uxie spread around paralysis it can set up huge Substitutes and be more able to do its job. Earthquake and Stone Edge are there to make a nearly unstoppable duo of attacks. Ice Punch is there to take out or severely dent any grass type Pokemon. Since Rhyperior is faster than Spiritomb it can set up a Substitute, take the WoW, and then use Earthquake against it. The EVs are for Maximum bulk, again, and to wreck absolute havoc with its massive 416 attack stat.

mismagius.png

Mismagius (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Shadow Ball
- Nasty Plot
- Substitute
- Thunderbolt
--- Mismagius is my one and only true sweeper. After Jumpluff Sleep Powders somebody Mismagius switches in and sets up. If I need automatic relief from loss of Pokemon I just use Nasty Plot and then try to sweep. If it's at the beginning of the battle I use Substitute and then Nasty Plot to then try and sweep. The EVs are pretty much self-explanatory, but, just in case, they are for maximum speed while still letting me to shoot off extremely powerful Shadow Balls and Thunderbolts after one Nasty Pot.

Well, that is the team. Any suggestions on the move-sets and/or EVs would be awesome, thanks!

Hi Prof.,I'm happy to see I am not the only one who likes Jumpluff leads.

Anyway Jumpluff doesn't need a Focus Sash since none of the most used leads can OHKO it except Kabutops and Omastar. Leftovers is much more useful. Against Ambipom leads I suggest you to switch to Rhyperior, take the Fake Out and set up a Sub.

Low Kick > Brick Break as light pokés like Houndoom are already KOed by Return while Registeel,Cloyster,Rhyperior, etc. take a lot more damage with Low Kick.

On Lickilicky Aqua Tail is better than EQ because it lets you hit Ground and Rock types harder while maintaining coverage against Fire types.

Uxie should run a Bold nature (+Def, -Atk) because U-Turn is there only to scout and your offensive stab is a special move.

On Rhyperior Ice Punch is useful only against torterra, which outspeeds you and OHKOes with Wood Hammer anyway, replace it with Megahorn. Earthquake hits Grass/Poison types like Venusaur for the same damage and pure grass types like Leafeon take a lot more damage from Megahorn. With the Bug move you'll also be able to deal with pokés like Claydol, Uxie and Slowbro.
You should also run this EV spread 136 HP / 244 Atk / 128 Spe because "136 HP EVs gives Rhyperior an HP stat of 405, which is a Leftovers number plus another HP so that Rhyperior can create another Substitute." and let him ouspeed Pokés with 50 base speed and no investiment like Donphan and Azumarill.

Good Luck

Just a quick little thing, don't put the last 4 EVs in HP for Missy, cuz then it will be able to sub 4 times... I think. lol

Hell yeah Jumpluff.

Jumpluff wants Encore>Aromatherepy, since Uxie is status fodder of the highest degree, and fast Encores are awesome.

Also, Payback is better than Shadow Claw, factoring in Technician.

Megahorn>Ice Punch on Rhyperior, since Grass/Poison types take the same amount of damage from Ice Punch as EQ.

Missy wants Life Orb. Nasty Plot=Life Orb. Calm Mind=Leftovers. Taunt>Substitute will help you not die to stall.

Also agreeing with all they said.
