Plushie Power

Hey, this is my first UU RMT, I've been laddering with it for a while now and it seems to do reasonably well but only to a point. Whilst I suspect this is partly down to my relative lack of battling experience I suspect some is also down to the team. Any help would be very appreciated. Now, here's the team:

Team details:

Rhyperior @ Leftovers
Nature: Adamant
Ability: Solid Rock
EVs: 208 HP, 252 Atk, 48 SpD

Rock Blast
Stealth Rock
Earthquake
Mega Horn

Rhyperior tends to be my lead out, unless obvious threats on the opposing team seem likely, solid rock means that it can take most super-effective physical hits well, allowing it to set up rocks, or suprise other leads with it's powerful rock/ground STABs. I prefer rock blast to stone edge since it's a bit more accurate and can be used to break substitutes and do damage in the same shot. Earthquake can hit various Pokés hard and Mega Horn can be used to put a sizeable dent in Bronzong and do significant damage to Mews that try and set up on it.

Chandelure @ Life Orb
Nature: Modest
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 SpA, 252 Spe, 4 SpD

Substitute
Flamethrower
Pain Split
Shadow Ball

Chandelure tends to be sent in to spin block if Rhyperior is fainted or on low health and then go for substitute as the opponent swithces fearing the choice scarf. This can make it more effective than the scarfed set since it does not require the correct prediction of what the opponent will switch into to take the hit. Pain split allows for recovery if nessecary as well as allowing the possibility of damaging Porygon-2 with trace, which otherwise entirely walls it. Much like rock blast on Rhyperior Flamethrower is taken over Fire Blast for accuracy reasons.

Shaymin @ Leftovers
Nature: Modest
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP, 76 SpA, 180 Spe

Leech Seed
Protect
Seed Flare
Hidden Power Ice

Shaymin is a bit of an odd Poké. It tends to come in after a death or as an alternate lead to Rhyperior. Using the threat of life orb Seed Flare Shaymin can scare a wide variety of pokémon out setting up a Leech Seed on whatever comes in, and proceeding to stall with protect whilst the opponents health is sapped. Seed flare is highly versetile, causing huge damage to those that don't resist it and having a chance to reduce the special defence of those who do. Hidden power Ice can do significant damage to most forms of Roserade, and also does massive damage to Gligar, which can prove a big issue if not dealt with correctly. Overall I find Shaymin to be a bit of a weak link on the team, but have yet to find a good replacement. Any sugestions on this front would be particularly appreciated.

237.png

Hitmontop @ Leftovers
Nature: Impish
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Hp, 252 Def, 4 SpD

Rapid Spin
Toxic
Close Combat
Sucker Punch

Hitmontop is an incredible physical wall, thanks to it's ability. Rapid spin is useful since hazard pose a significant threat on a team with no leviatators to dodge spikes and Chandelure taking large amounts of damage from stealth rocks. Toxic allows for stalling of walls or physical threats, particularly if Hitmontop is rotated out and back in for extra intimidates. Close combat does large amount of damage to anything that doesn't resisit it and sucker punch can be a life saver where Pokémon like scarfed Chandelure are involved, especially on a team with no other forms of priority except protect.

80.png

Slowbro @ Leftovers
Nature: Bold
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 248 HP, 244 Def, 18 SpA

Scald
Psyshock
Slack Off
Toxic

Slowbro Walls a large percentage of physical threats, and also resists a fair quantity of any special moves thrown at it. Scald causes significant damage to Gligar and has the chance of buring, which can be a life saver against Cobalion and Helps to stall out Bronzong. Slack off and regenerator give Slowbro Incredible survivablilty, even in the event of toxic poisoning, allowing it to win a large quantity of stall wars it might get trapped in. Toxic is a staple, as with Hitmontop, as it freqently reduces HP enough to allow for a revenge KO with Krookodile.

582.png

Krookodile @ Choice Scarf
Nature: Jolly
Ability: Moxie
EVs:4 HP, 252 Atk, 252 Spe

Crunch
Earthquake
Pursuit
Stone Edge

Krookodile sees little use on this team until the later portion of the game. Once the opponents team is weakened enough Krookodile can easily mop up anything left. Earthquake is it's move of choice, allowing it to revenge KO threats like Nidoking and Roserade, with Crunch being a useful standby if the opponent still has levitators such as Bronzong, which can be KO'd before it KO's Krookodile, giving a moxie boost to allow for an easier sweep of remaning pokés. Pursuit can be occasionally useful for early game KOs of pokés such as Chandelure and Stone edge is useful for a final KO on a poké such as Zapdos which has too much HP to be KOd with crunch but is immune to earthquake.

I hope you have enjoyed this RMT. Any feedback is much appreciated.

EDIT: Chandelure Now has 248 Hp and 8 SpD EVs since the speed wasn't excatly useful on it and the ability to make higher HP substitutes is circumstantially useful more than being able to outspeed a minority of other sweepers.
Krookodile now has a life orb instead of a scarf owing to the hgih popularity of leviating pokémon and zapdos, after a few moxie boosts anything that isn't scarfed has a hard time stoppping a sweep from krookodile and now it is also unable to be blocked by Zapdos or Bronzong if locked on earthquake. Consiering expert belt in order to bluff a scarf, allowing for KOs on prediciting bronzongs/zapdoses (zapdoses/zapdosi?).
