Arena: Peter's Purple Poison Public Pool for People and Pokemon - Challenge Mode Edition

Effects:
- Default weather is Amplified Artificial Acid Rain. AAAR is kinda like normal rain, but with a lot of added effects. All of the effects are: Boosts the BAP of Water moves by 3, Weakens the BAP of Psychic moves by 3, all Pokemon lose 1 HP per action unless they are Poison, Water, or Bug-type, activates rain abilities, and does not weaken the power of weather based healing moves or Solar Beam, can only be replaced by weather rocks.
- Normal Poison now deals 3 damage per action, Toxic poison Starts at 2 DPA. Being around so much poison helps strengthen the effects poison, causing more damage.
- When a Pokemon is Poisoned, the Gastro Acid effect is put on the Pokemon for 6 actions. Resets if a poisoned Pokemon is switched out and comes back in still poisoned. The pool helps amplify the effects of poison, causing Pokemon to lose some of their special power for a little while.
- Fissure fails when used. How are you able to cause a Fissure in a pool?

- Camouflage: Poison
- Nature Power: Sludge Bomb

Wooo, we're back! It almost seems like I'm enjoying bathing in a putrid acidic pool of Arceus-knows-what while the only thing separating me from instant death is my umbrella!
*ahem*
So, back in Poison Gym, huh. nightblitz, after really analysing how the Leader thinks and plays in my match (that I won, I'll have you know!) is now ready to put his knowledge in action... and brought three Steel-types! Guess who'll be owning a Gym soon? It actually looks kind of scary, with two big boys in Steelix and Aggron to dish out major damage (especially Steelix) and Naviathan to act as a Water-type check because Tentacruel exists.
Now, on the other hand, Yoshi brought a few odd picks here. Victreebel, for example, is kind of an incongruity. Mollux looks it can could rival with Steelix in terms of damage dealing, which is nice for the Leader, though Nidoking might be this team's ace given that it can dispatch Aggron with relative ease and give Steelix a run for its money too.
All in all, no clear winner from the beginning, I guess it'll come down to wit and battling prowess! Let's go!

And here we go! Yoshi's trusty Tentacruel faces off Naviathan in this first round, and the Steel-type Pokémon wastes no time hurling a huge anchor at the jellyfish. Hah, who's trapped NOW, you slimy pest? Tentacruel managed to put up Reflect before that though, softening up the blow.
Nevertheless, Naviathan strikes with seismic shockwaves as Tentacruel seemingly does nothing but gather water around itself. Weird, I could've sworn Tentacruel doesn't know Splash... Oh! I see! It's an Aqua Ring, and it's negating huge amounts of damage!
For the last action, Naviathan decides it time to go in close quarters and lunges at its opponent, cloaking in lightning. Truly, a sight to behold. It's a successful hit, but Tentacruel manages to sneak in an acid bomb that begins to melt its way into Naviathan's armor!
Reflect certainly was useful there, though how useful it'll continue to be against a mon with Psychic Fangs is to be seen. On the other hand, Navithan will have to be wary of Tentacruel's Poison STAB now...

Sensing great danger ahead, Tentacruel quickly erects a defensive barrier around itself, to which Navithan retaliates with a weird face, probably hoping Tentacruel would be afraid to approach it after that. But Tentacruel seems unfazed, and quickly melts Navithan's armor once more! This seems to be Yoshiblaze's win condition here, and it shows.
But then, Naviathan becomes really frustrated at its failed attempt and strikes the ground with rage (the pool's ground? We'll never know!), sending deadly shockwaves towards Tentacruel! It's a direct hit for good damage, but Tentacruel uses the pool's dubious water quality to its advantage and tries to poison Naviathan, though to no avail. That still hit hard, and the Steel-type Pokémon is left trying to sink its teeth into the jellyfish once again.
Now, Tentacruel has a nice HP lead thanks to its insane recovery, but then again Light Metal shenanigans could happen next round, so anything's still possible!

Screw this. It's time to start doing what I should've done a long time ago.

[Dive (Suspend) + Protect] ~ Cooldown ~ Taunt
IF the combination a1 is infeasible THEN replace orders with Metronome(Rock Polish, Quiver Dance, Geomancy, Agility(boost), Iron Defense, Flame Charge, Dragon Dance, Thunder Wave, Stun Spore, Tailwind) ~ Protect ~ Taunt
IF Metronome selects Iron Defense THEN Chill a2.

Finally, in its last breath, Naviathan mocks its opponent, paving the way for a teammate to sweep. This concludes an impressive (figurative) arm wrestling contest won by Yoshiblaze, though with EN that low what will happen to the jellyfish?
Another thing to note is that both of nightblitz's remaining Pokémon will be affected by AAAR, and with Tentacruel almost out of the way, what's stopping Steelix?

IF suspended D/E move when Aggron would use Roar THEN [swap Roar and Stealth Rock in orders] first instance, [Magnet Rise and push back] second instance, [Iron Defense] third instance.

IF Magic Coat THEN Earthquake, pushing back .

IF damaging Water-Type combination THEN Protect, pushing back.

This has a 50% chance to go horribly wrong. Considering what happened earlier, I probably shouldn't be relying on luck for anything, but...

Hi, Nidoking!
...
Bye, Nidoking!
I mean seriously are you expecting me do to serious commentary when this round was basically "let's make Nidoking pancakes for dinner"? Nidoking could have used a crit here, it would have taken down this iron wall of a Pokémon.
Though, with 2 HP left, no recovery moves save for Rest and AAAR, Aggron will likely fall next round, maybe next action.
Though, I expect nightblitz to squeeze out as much HP and/or EN as he can to prepare a potential sweep...
