What are Helpers?
Helpers are just that—freelance Pokemon ready to help you Level your team! Various Pokemon trainers and hobbyists many different regions are willing to lend their services to BBP League trainers for a small fee.
Browse the current month's selection of Helper Pokemon at your leisure, and hire them to help you in the peskiest PvE ventures!
Helper Pokemon are ineligible for all Pokemon-specific rewards, such as EXP, Nostalgia, Technique Unlocks, and so on. Their purpose is to plug a hole in your roster and help get your own Pokemon partners over the finish line of a difficult venture.

Where can I take them?
Helpers can't be taken to any PvP Venue, including casual PvP such as Contests and Custom Battles. Other than this restriction, you can take a Helper along with you for any venture in BBP. You can bring up to one Helper per sign-up, and you can't hire Helpers that you can't afford at the time of hiring. You may hire Helpers (even the same Helper) in different ventures at the same time.
Helpers are always Level 3, and their Disciplines and Combos are set in stone. This can make them inappropriate for certain difficult ventures.
Helpers are offered in sets of three; at three different hiring costs. You can hire Helpers with your choice of :rare candy:TC or :amulet coin:RC, but you cannot mix the two.
The cheapest Helper tends to be very strong at one specific task. The middle Helper tends to be a powerful generalist option. The most expensive Helper is often an under-utilized rare Pokemon.

How do I use a Helper?
To hire a Helper, post in this thread which Helper you'd like to hire, and for what single venture. Then, when signing up for that venture, link back to your hiring post. This ensures you have a timestamped post showing that you were eligible to hire that Helper at the time of sign-up.
The Helpers on offer change roughly monthly, when a moderator posts three new Helpers. Once new Helpers are posted, the previous set of Helpers will become unavailable 48 hours later, so act fast if you need their help!
If you have a signup in queue using a Helper, and new Helpers are posted, you can keep using the Helper you hired—that's what your hiring post was for.
At any time before your queued challenge starts, you can update your sign-up to change your hired Helper or replace them with a Pokemon of your own. When you do so, post a new post in this thread. This means that if you choose to cancel your hired Helper, and that Helper has become unavailable since then, you won't be able to hire your old Helper again.
Hired Help receives their pay in the rewards post, like so:
@ExampleUser123 earns 3 TC, 4 RC; pays 6 JC to referees; and pays 5 TC or RC for their hired help.
This means that it costs nothing to update your sign-up. Your hired Help doesn't take pay until you finish your venture.
