I've been working on a new team of mine for OU that will need some improvements as I am terrible to making teams so any help would be useful!
THE TEAM:
Tyrantrum @ Life Orb
Ability: Strong Jaw
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake
- Crunch
This is my filler of the team or rather the pokemon I based my team around. I see this pokemon overlooked a lot especially for its typing but I believe it has potential. On my team it serves as a Physical Sweeper. Just one D-dance and get ready to get REKT
Medicham-Mega @ Medichamite
Ability: Pure Power
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- High Jump Kick
- Bullet Punch
- Drain Punch
- Ice Punch
The other sweeper of the team! Fighting types are amazing and Medicham is crazy strong. High Jump Kicks hurt a lot and they can get rid of huge threats in the metagame
Galvantula @ Focus Sash
Ability: Compound Eyes
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Thunder
- Bug Buzz
- Energy Ball
- Sticky Web
The lead of my team. Just by setting up a sticky web and with my Tyrantrum setting up a D-dance nothing but priority could take my Tyrantrum down. But of course that's not Galvantula's only purpose. It can also do quite some damage with Compound Eyes increasing this pokemon's accuracy meaning Thunders will hurt
Quagsire @ Leftovers
Ability: Unaware
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Amnesia
- Recover
- Earthquake
- Toxic
The wall and ultimate counter to Weakness Policy Dragonites and laughs in Dragonite's face thanks to Unaware. This thing is hard to take down unless it gets poisoned which usually isn't a problem.
Excadrill @ Air Balloon
Ability: Mold Breaker
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Def / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Shadow Claw
- Rapid Spin
The rapid spinner of my team. If someone also sets up a sticky web, it could create quite a problem. That's where Excadrill comes in. To save most of my pokemon's butts...
Volcarona @ Big Root
Ability: Flame Body
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature
- Quiver Dance
- Bug Buzz
- Fiery Dance
- Giga Drain
Last, but not least, the special sweeper on my team. Volcarona can destroy many things. I mainly needed a fire type pokemon who could do a lot of damage and Volcarona seemed to fit the description perfectly.
