Pokebank team of justice and power- an RMT by evir

OMG HI :D
It's been a little while since my last RMT, and it really, really helped me out. So, here I am again, back for another session of "let's make evir feel bad about his team-building abilities." Don't worry, I enjoy it. :3
The goal of this team is to hit hard, take lots of hits, counter troublesome pokemon as efficiently as possible, and set up sweeps. So, with all that being said, let's dive into the team I've built which has brought me to 1836 ACRE on the ladder. Allon-sy!

Hey a team look guys
changes in red; thank you Kayo for a bunch of awesome suggestions :3
I replaced Genesect with Greninja
I replaced Excadrill with Scizor

Greninja @ Life Orb
Ability: Protean
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 Atk
Naive Nature
- U-turn
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam
- Grass Knot

Greninja is my new lead; after typing conflicts with Genesect, Kayo has convinced me to run Greninja. It can scout, U-turn away, hit everything with STAB, and, this is pretty exciting, kill Gastrodon with Grass Knot. He forms a Volt-turn core with Rotom-W. He's also a bad ass ninja frog. yup.

Bauuer (Rotom-Wash) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 Hp/252 Spa/252 Spe
Timid Nature

- Trick
- Will-O-Wisp
- Hydro Pump
- Volt Switch

Ah yes, it's that sentient washing machine that everyone is slapping onto their teams. I have jumped on this bandwagon, and am running a scarf set here. This thing can switch into like, everything. It's pretty cool. I'm using will-o-wisp to cripple things that would otherwise kill other things on my team, I've got Hydro Pump for a hard-hitting STAB move, Volt Switch for volt-switching, and trick for crippling support pokemon, gliscor, etc. He is the other half of my Volt-turn core. He enjoys long walks on the beach, gazing into your eyes, and doing the Harlem Shake. neext

Scizor @ Occa Berry
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef
Impish Nature
- Defog
- Roost
- U-turn
- Bullet Punch

Kayo has introduced me to the life-changing concept of Defog Scizor. I am forever changed. This Scizor is all about bulk. It takes hits, gets rid of rocks which keep DNite from doing its job, and then takes out weakened Pokemon with Bullet Punch. Seriously. I'm so excited about this thing. XD

Borgore (Dragonite) @ Weakness Policy
Ability: Multiscale
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Dragon Claw
- Extreme Speed
- Earthquake

Weakness Policy is such a cool item that was released this generation. When the holder is hit with a super-effective move, its Atk and SpA are boosted to +2. Combine that with Multiscale, and a Dragon Dance or two, and you've got a terrifying beast of destruction and terror. He's packing an Adamant nature here, as I'm assuming that I'll be able to get a Dragon Dance off and I want to hit as hard as possible. I'm using Earthquake over Fire Punch here because Heatran can do nice things with fire; EQ is also one of the only physical moves that can ruin Aegislash.

Feed Me (Gengar) @ Black Sludge
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Disable
- Substitute
- Shadow Ball
- Sludge Bomb

Here we have the standard SubDisable Gengar. It's fast, powerful, and annoying as hell. The concept is simple here; sub once, disable whatever move the opponent uses, sub again, and then kill things, all the while healing with Black Sludge. He is my answer to fairies and mega Kangaskhan, though the latter is not always fazed by Gengar (smogon pls ban). He also spin-blocks, which is nice.

Burial (Heatran) @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 172 Def / 84 SDef
Calm Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Roar
- Lava Plume
- Earth Power

Wrapping this team up, I've got a fully defensive Heatran who I stole from that Daunting Dreadnauts team that was posted in this form a little while ago. He soaks up pretty much anything thrown at it, places rocks, and then offers crippling burn support with Lava Plume and takes care of set-up sweepers with Roar.

Issues with this team
1. Mega Kangaskhan. I can't kill it and I hate it and it's stupid.
2. Water/Ground types, especially Gastrodon.
2. Stealth Rock. As I've mentioned before, I need better spin support, but I'm not quite sure what to do.
3. Rotom-W is kind of hard to kill.
4. Excadrill can ruin my life if I'm not careful, as Mold Breaker hits both Gengar and Rotom- W for super-effective damage.
5. Other things I haven't pin-pointed yet.

________________________________________________

So yeah, that's my team. Thanks in advance for all the help, and I hope you didn't feel like pushing me out of a window by the end of reading this. Cheers!

Hey man this seems like a pretty cool team! It looks like you are going for a dragonite sweep here. Excadrill is obvious for rapid spinning as well as taking out rotom-w, while rotom w is useful for nice pivoting as well as talonflame repellant (heatran works too). Lastly gensect helps with revenging and luring out threats like rotom w and stuff to pivot into other things. Pretty cool!

Girst off however, gengar seems really out of place. Sub disable isnt exactly the best set and like last generation there are far better spin blockers. As your team seems to be bulky offense, a hyper offensive spinblocker like gengar is pretty out of place. Try using Gourgeist instead. This allows you to beat mega kangaskhan, and many other bulky attackers. Having leech seed helps with psuedo wish passing to teammates. The fire/water/grass core helps as well, and gourgeist also beats excadrill. Sweet!

SD is honestly a waste on spinning excadrill. By running 164 Spe and Iron Head>Swords Dance you outspeed 0 Spe Rotom and ohko, while also having a nice steel stab for fairy types, but honestly that doesnt matter as most of them are hit harder by earthquake (hits togekiss tho). You could also run shadow claw i guess.

Lastly, i would recommend running ChestoResto Rotom. I find it quite honestly the better set, as it keeps the bulky offense theme, with the second life deal. Pain split is a horrible move to use, rest is so much better

Thanks for the suggestions! Gourgeist sounds interesting; I may try it out. I'm opting for Scarfed Rotom over the other Rotom sets now, as I've gotten rid of Genesect and I still want something nice and fast. And then I've obviously gotten rid of Excadrill now. :P

Everything TCR said 100%. Gourgeist fits the team so much more than Gengar seeing as your late game paths are usually Greninja or Dnite. Gengar is a little awkward because this set doesnt have enough power to sweep teams at the end, or maintain defensive power with Disable against the heavy hitters. Seeing how much you told me you hate Kangaskhan, I would believe having a Gourgeist will allow you to sleep easier. Nowadays almost every Kang I see carries Sucker Punch so getting off a W.o.W shouldn't be a problem (Hell a rare non boosted crunch won't even kill) I would definitely consider the switch.

This new ghost would as she said help against the Mold Break EDrill problem you had because no one move can effective kill Gourgeist with his movepool. Oh and did we mention having something to counter spore? :D Test her out

All right, I'm convinced. I'll try it out, and will update the RMT accordingly. Thanks, guys.

Hello there!

I love the use of Scarf Rotom-W, really! I must say though, I can't tell if this is Bulky Offense or Heavy Offense: you have some awkward sets here. The team looks so offensive that I'll try to stick to that nature when I rate.

OK so the first issue I have is Stealth Rock. Scizor is hardly reliable and it's not bulky enough to use Roost and it's item looks downright useless. I suggest switching Scizor out for something that can more reliably remove Stealth Rocks -- Excadrill! I'm going to go ahead and recommend you run Occa Berry on your Excadrill since it can lure in anything Scizor was but better -- Rock Slide can OHKO both Charizard-Y, +1 Volcarona, and Talonflame with ease. It also gets access to Stealth Rock, which is what I recommend you use since I also want to replace Heatran. Heatran itself eats momentum you have going for this team, and why use Heatran anyway when Scizor (or now Excadrill) can perform the role of a bulky steel type anyway? I recommend replacing Heatran with LO Talonflame. Talonflame can run U-turn over Swords Dance and become piviot for momentum, and it helps with the VoltTurn core you have going on with Greninja and Rotom-W, while also forming a powerful priority core with Dragonite.

Lastly, I don't agree with Gouregeist, but not because of anything with the Pokemon itself really. It does clear up many of the flaws you pointed out; however, Gouregeist is more suited for bulky offense or stall and this team is much more offensive than that. I'd just run Will-O-Wisp on Gengar and call it a team!

Finally, Dark Pulse on Greninja is worth trying.

Good Luck!
