Other Metagames Pokebilities AAA

I was testing out a few other teams like a sun team with a chlorophyll solar power mon, but it just didn’t work out. So hope you guys love stall!!!!

Team link below if you just wanna view the team and its stats:

Great Tusk:
A simple defense oriented set-up. Scrappy can let it guarantee rapid spins against ghost types. Body press with defense investment is also good in case someone decides to bring in a sun setter.

Corviknight:
I chose to go with fluffy over well-baked body, though I feel like I should go with the other ability instead. Nonetheless Corviknight is a good choice due to its high bulk being able to threaten great tusk, rillaboom, Meowscarada, kommo-o, Lokix, etc. Defog is also nice to have in case I can’t use Tusk.

Garganacl:
The combination of all of Nacl’s abilities provides a lot more utility than I originally expected. Its moveset allows it to deal with corviknight, heatran, H-Goodra, stuff like that. I originally had Water Absorb to deal with water types better but then I remembered Dry Skin exists, functioning well against rain teams as well.

Blissey:
It’s one of my only options against special attackers, but it does a pretty good job at that. Unaware is great against something like Skeliderge or whatever else that tries to set up. It can support the rest of the team with heal bell whenever they get statuses.

Slowbro:
At the early stages of this team I used to have Hydrapple, but then I soon learned that it would not be good here. Slowbro can pair well against Garchomp, Zamazenta, and Cinderace. Before I ran Tablet of Ruin on it to be an even better wall, however I would always get swept by Breloom. So I figured stamina could be better since it gets more defense whenever it tries to use bullet seed, while still having a good defensive ability against other moms.. didn’t work. So I said screw it and just gave him Sap Sipper.

Tinkaton:
The combination of abilities for Tink is great! Mold breaker lets it ignore things like sticky hold, magic bounce, Good as Gold, among others. Pickpocket still gives it a chance to have an item if leftovers got knocked off. Regenerator is nice to have to have extra survivability.

That’s all the Pokemon listed. Let me know what you guys think and what can be improved on!

:great tusk:
Great Tusk lacking recovery altogether makes its use rather limited across long games, which is undesirable as stall generally leans towards that direction, which isn't helped by Gholdengo and Good as Gold being banned from the metagame leaving this with surprisingly little of a niche for the purposes of this team.

Clodsire is an excellent replacement, being another Unaware wall that also eases the matchup against rain teams with Water Absorb, it even grants Spikes to further wear down the team, as well as a check to threatening breakers the team could struggle with otherwise like Ogerpon-W, Primordial Sea Zapdos, and Iron Moth.

:corviknight:
You can swap U-turn for Body Press to ease the matchup into hazard setters like Hisuian Samurott, Ting-Lu, and Tinkaton, especially as the momentum granted by the move isn't as appreciated here. Well-Baked Body seems mandatory role compression (over having to rework the team quite more) to far more easily check Fire-types like Heatran, Cinderace, Iron Moth, and Talonflame, and also synergizes with Body Press too.

:slowbro:
252+ Atk Technician Breloom Bullet Seed (5 hits) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Stamina Slowbro: 268-320 (68 - 81.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252+ Atk Technician Breloom Bullet Seed (5 hits) vs. +5 252 HP / 252+ Def Stamina Slowbro: 122-152 (30.9 - 38.5%) -- approx. 51.5% chance to 3HKO

Yeah, this does not like switching into Breloom, you have an entire Corv either way (and Clod if if reveals SD), so Breloom shouldn't be that much of a concern. Given that Stamina's whole niche is quite devalued with the above in mind, replacing Slowbro with Reuniclus would be fair to consider, having a better combination of abilities in Magic Guard + Regenerator while also having a spare ability slot on top, for the context of this team I would recommend Fluffy to handle physical breakers like Zamazenta, Rillaboom, and Iron Leaves, lessening the burden for Corv as it checks foes like Cinderace and Garchomp for it.

:tinkaton:
With Encore providing minimal use across long games, especially with Blissey + Clod making a formidable core against setup sweepers, as well as Sticky Hold being quite rare as the sheer opportunity cost limits it to Hydrapple and Gastrodon (and thus just removing items across a match with Reuniclus's Knock Off is more efficient role compression, especially as the former is PP stalled by Corv while the latter does not like Garg), and similarly Blissey can fit SR over it as Magic Bounce is limited to Hatterene as it's restricted from use for non-native users, Tinkaton seems out of place, especially as its defensive profile overlaps a lot with Corviknight's.

Rotom-Wash seems like a better fit for the team, complementing Clodsire as to check Water-types like Greninja, and Primarina, all while also spreading status with Will-O-Wisp to wear down the other team while also making the act of walling easier, it also compresses as a check to Magic Guard and Regenerator users by having the capability to break past them by setting up with Nasty Plot.

:blissey:
Thunder Wave provides little use given the nature of the team, a move that lets it wear down Ghost-types would be desirable, as alluded previously Stealth Rock would be better as to perform role compression.

:garganacl:
As Desolate Land is quite common, Dry Skin can often be more detrimental for a Pokemon that often checks Fire-types, using Water Absorb would be better here, additionally with Levitate and Earth Eater being common in the tier, Iron Defense would be better over EQ here to more easily wall stuff like also letting Garg apply more pressure against Magic Guard users that don't care about Salt Cure with the synergy it has with Body Press.

Here's the team with the proposed changes, I hope it helps!
